[Resolved]  Thyrocare — They contaminated/ destroyed my blood and refused to duly compensate.

This organization believes in malpractices. First their phlebotomist/ technician refuse to wear gloves as per covid 19 protocols, then the next day the company sends an email stating part of my reports have been canceled due to technical issues. What does that even mean? They collected two vials of blood and somehow they could only use one vial for testing. What happened to the second vial? Contaminated? Broken vial? I don't know because they couldn't tell me. Also note my blood was collected at 8am but the lab received my blood sample only after 10pm in the night. Now they have the audacity to say they sent me part report (i didn't ask for part report, i paid for the entire package and my blood was wasted) and only offer Rs.360 out of 1799 that i paid for the package, no reparation or compensation for carelessly handling my blood. Not only is this company unethical but also very unprofessional. This pathology lab cannot be trusted with your blood because to them it's a commodity they can waste on a whim. Very disappointed.

According to yjeir company policy i am entitled to get a full refund and yet the employees have been refusing it. Attaching a photo of their policy. This is textbook fraud.

As mentioned in the mail, only few tests are cancelled in your case (Barcode : S0265871) hence partial refund (Rs. 360) will be processed as per cancelled test policy.

We regret to inform you that your request for complete refund could not be processed as all the remaining tests are processed and reported successfully. -Team Thyrocare
Rs 360 is not a fair compensation for the troubles caused by Thyrocare India which is why i have refused to accept partial refund of Rs.360. My greivance stands unresolved.

Fair warning to the consumer: From my first and only encounter with thyrocare, this is what I experienced;
1) The technician didn't wear gloves while drawing blood
2) My blood sample were not sent for testing for more than 12 hours from the time of collection
3) they lost my blood and asked for recollection. Their FAQ says recollection happens this means be prepared to give your blood twice maybe thrice because that's what you are signing up for when you are choosing Thyrocare India.
4) Thyrocare refused to offer a full refund citing technical issues which means i will have to pay for a package elsewhere (because individual panels are expensive) so in a nutshell i lost twice amount of blood and twice amount of money on testing because Thyrocare is a careless organization.

Thyrocare maybe cheap but they are unreliable, untrustworthy and unprofessional. My experience with Metropolis and SRL has been smooth and pleasant i will be using them for reports going forward. I personally don't recommend thyrocare.
