Rajnagar Extension has become an epicenter to lakhs of residents within few years. With more than 20+ schools, 10+ hospitals in it's vicinity, and NH - 58 passing right through the core of Rajnagar Extension, it has become a home of extreme traffic honks and unnecessary blaring of vehicles 24X7.
With majority of bulidings situation alongside NH-58, we as residents who live in those buildings hear the traffic horns (including Big trucks, cars, bikes etc) which disturbs our day to day peace. It's hardly ever quite in this area which leads to hearing issues among elders, children facing disturbances while studying and patients who are in nearby hospitals. Kindly resolve this unbearable noise pollution situation.
1)Declare areas near hospitals, residential and educational institutions as ‘No Honking Zones’ on NH-58 to avoid the disturbing sounds.
2) A penalty for those who honk unnecessarily without considering their nearby residents situation.
