On inquiring from multiple tour companies for a trip to Manali-Dharamshala, we got a call from travel4gateway. They offered us the lowest price and guaranteed us that thy are genuine. On multiple followups, we confirmed to go ahead with their services. However, after confirmation, their attitude and services changed.
We had booked this trip for 3 on 29th January, 2016 for Manali-Dharamashala from 21st March - 26th March, 2016. As per our agreement, the package was of Rs 44, 000 + Rs 1, 500 cashback and we were promised return flights from Mumbai - Chandighar, cab from Chandighar Airport - Manali, 3 nights in Manali, cab from Manali-Dharamshala, 2 nights in Dharamshala, cab from Dharamshala - Chandighar Airport. As per their company policy, 50% of the payment (Rs 22, 000) was supposed to be made on the confirmation day which we did. Also, it was agreed that 25% (Rs 11, 000) will be made 7 days before the travel day and remaining 25% (Rs 11, 000) will be made on the first day of travel after check-in. We were told, we would receive all our travel details on 1st March, 2016. However, nothing agreed on has been met. The flights and hotels have been changed without prior notification. We haven't received complete travel details. All we have is one side flight confirmation, Manali & Dharamsala hotels confirmation. We are being forced to make the remaining complete payment (Rs 22, 000)to receive the pending travel details. Our request for cancellation is also not being entertained.
We had made the request for cancellation way before the free cancellation date provided y the hotels. However, they did not action it within that period causing cancellation charges to be applied and are not providing any inputs on the refund. On multiple follow ups, we still haven't got a SPOC. On researching more, we have found multiple complaints against their company on multiple consumer forums lately. We have followed up on the refund process multiple times but have been given no confirmation.

Also, we received a call threatening us that they will be sending us a legal notice as we raised a complaint on consumer forum.
The cancellation has not yet been initiated neither any details has been shared regarding refund. We had initiated the cancellation way before the free cancellation deadline for hotels. However, as per the call we received, the are enforcing hotel cancellation charges as well.
