V-Guard Industries — Wall mount fan

I had purchase two V-Guard wall mount fan of same model during 2019 year. The product was installed in my house and the usage was very less. A few days back, one of the fan stopped working. I had contact the service people of Palakkad. They have checked and inform me that the motor of the fan got damaged completely and the replacement charge will be Rs.900. By hearing this, i was shocked, because I know very well about the usage of this fan. In my house there are about 10-15 fans of different companies. They are all working more than 10 - 25 years without any problem. I am using V-guard products, such as, inverter, stabilizer, fans, compressor etc. for the last 2 decades. But, the durability of your fan seems very poor. Hence, with my experience, i will not recommend any v-guard fan product. Now, for my new building, i am planning to purchase about 5-8 fans of other companies due to this.

Updated by Arunraj Toady morning your representative have contacted me over phone and inform me that since the warranty period is over I have to pay Rs.900 for motor replacement. This is not justifiable. Because the damaged fan is very less used. Only issue is warranty period over. This means your products are low durable. Hence i wish to boycott your products in future. If your company can consider my issue as a special case and solve my issue, I will accept. I am not willing to pay any money for the motor replacement.

Updated by Arunraj Today i got a message from V-Guard stating that my SR No.1-[protected] has been cancelled. Reason mentioned is I am not interested in their paid services. It looks very strange that, why i have to pay for replacement of low durable fan motor. This is purely the defect of product. Since, their product is not low quality, they have replace it after checking the fan, even after the warranty period. Because, in my complaint, I was clearly mentioned that I had used this product very rare and there are two more same fans running smoothly in my house, which i had purchased on the same day.

Updated by Arunraj Since, V-Guard is a reputed firm in the market, they have responsibility to solve the problem of their privileged customer. Here, the complaint is purely against the defective product.
