I'm extremely sorry to say this that I have been going through the Pathetic Customer service from Videocon D2H.
I have purchased Videocon HDR Setup box paying 7500 Rs just because I had an option of 1 TB drive space for recording option. Since 3-4 Weeks I was facing problem in this setup box, it used to take nearly 40 mins to start. Each Time when we switch off the set up box, we need to wait for 30-40 mins.
Yesterday - Dated 28th June, I called Customer care and raised a complaint. Service executive visited my house and after listening to my problem, without second thought he told that there is a major technical problem in Videocon HDR boxes and Many Customers have raised the same complaint. He took the set box for checkup. After 30-40 mins, I got a call from local Videocon agent office saying that these HDR boxes are of NO use and It would be replaced with a lower end setup box (Videocon HD 2266 ) which is worth just 2000 Rs. And I would be able to record only one Channel in this setup box that too using a Pen drive.
To be frank, I not at all interest in accepting this lower end setup box as a replacement to my high end HDR setup box and I'm at loss. When there is a manufacturing defect from Company product, Videocon should take the responsible and make sure Customer is not at loss at any cost. Instead being such a well-known brand, Videcon is offering a lower end setup box and NOT even bothered to compensate for this Loss. This is worst service that any Company can offer to its Customer.
This is horrifying experience and hence I’m filing an complaint here an dI hope my loss is compensated accordingly at earliest.
Lastly I would like to say that I'm not having an good experience by choosing Videcon d2h. Was this information helpful? |
