Vodafone — Frequent call drops and poor network/call quality; Excess billing | |||||
I have incurred sky high roaming charges since call duration was extended due to poor network coverage and poor call quality. Also, calls to CUG numbers and some numbers on Vodafone were charged at a higher rate than calls to numbers on other networks. Moreover, calls made using other Airtel network during roaming (which is beyond user's control and this means Vodafone's network coverage in several areas is poor - if real) are charged at a higher rate for no fault of the customer who is totally unaware o[censored]sing a different service provider's network. If all the outgoing calls are made on Vodafone's network how is it possible that a lot of the incoming calls are handled by Airtel's network in the same area at the same point in time? Call duration extended unnecessarily due to poor network leading to excess incoming and outgoing charges. Moreover, download speed on 3G network was only on par with 2G and sometimes even worse. Frequent loss of signal/downtime/network outage at times of need has caused immense mental agony. Why should customers be made to bear the burden of skyrocketing bills despite such poor service from Vodafone. I seek immediate compensation/relief. Was this information helpful? | |||||
