Vodafone India — Charged 1200 Rs saying that called 51717 and talked for 80 mins at morning 3A.M

I was also charged by Vodafone Rs 1260 on Sept 2015 Bill for number 51717. Also similar charges on my number for Nov. We had not made these calls and seems like it is a fraud. The customer service says its an internet number to some astrologer. This seems to be a big scam.

I purchased Vodafone post paid connection in Oct 2015. I am facing the issues with Vodafone as every month they are charging for the services that i had never ever used. Every month Vodafone customer care repeat the same story that you had made call to special number even though i have never made such calls.

In bill cycle[protected] to[protected], Vodafone charged more than Rs. 240 and when i asked for to disclose the number, Vodafone told that sir you have not opted for itemized bill so we can tell you only few digit.

This month (April 2016), it is height of over charge. Vodafone charged me for more than Rs. 1200 and Vodafone repeating the same story.

This time i opted for, itemized bill and Vodafone told me that i made calls to num. 517170 more that 140 min on[protected] @ 4:20 PM. Vodafone, i was in office and no one is so free in office to call for 140 min.

I called the same number from my friend’s number (that is also Vodafone num.) and message from operator is...THIS NUMBER DOES NOT EXIST

As per my knowledge, No phone calls can be made to the number that does not exist and please stop this random bill printing at your own will.

was also charged by Vodafone Rs 1260 on 24.07.2016 and 17.06.2016 Bill for number 51717. We had not made these calls and seems like it is a fraud. The customer service says its an internet number to some astrologer. I have registered a complaints against this in vodafone customer care and was asked to send an email to customercare.[protected]@vodafone.They replied that these calls are correct and you have to pay the bill then they will reverse if possible some thing is fraud.

I was also charged by Vodafone Rs 1700 on June 2016 Bill for number 51717. Also similar charges on my number for July Month 294. We had not made these calls and seems like it is a fraud. The customer service says its an internet number to some astrologer. This seems to be a big scam.

My Vodafone mobile no [protected] .I went to the Vodafone store faridabad on 26 sep 2016 at 6.29.26 pm my token no is 336 .I have been charged 1300 saying that I called to 51717 and talked for 60 minutes, that too morning 1.30 AM. to 2.30 AM which is in all the way u realistic. First of all, with other telecom subscriber 51717 is invalid number By mistake also no one can dial 51717 Making call at 1.30 AM to 2.30 AM is unrealistic, top of that talking for 60 minutes is not at all possible. It is requested to kindly look into the matter and weave off the subject amount from the bill so that i may continue this post paid plan for further. My phone also deactivate by Vodafone saying that without depositing the amount your phone will not be activate.so kindly clear the issue so that i can avail the services of Vodafone and paid the actual bill amount after deducting the amount of rs 1300/- and activate my phone number,

Vodafone is bad. Fraudy. Very poor Vodafone India Company. It is better if Vodafone had begged from Indians I would have paid my 800 Rupees as alms. Vodafone stop stealing from Indians at middle of the night by taking garb of an astrologer. Congress government was right for penalising you for 11000 crore of tax notice which you are not paying. You have retorted to Stealing yes STEALING from common middle class indians by sending fraudy message of Astrologer and then charging 1260 or more rupees. I receivded a bill amounting Rs 1620 for the month of December 2016 of which close to 1250 Rs for calling some number 51717. I have been chasing customer care for revised bill with all that I am getting is a standard response about the genuine calls. No value added service was registered either nor any long calls ever initiated from this number. I initially under the suspicion that the call might have been wrongly initiated. But after couple of further investigation I realised this was fraud. First of all why on earth someone will call any number except this 51717 which charges close to 16 rs/min. Even if someone call, how come one can talk for one and half hour without interruption. Needless to say I am more than sure that no such call ever initiated. There is something more than mere existence of such number. This is pathetic experience leave aside any other service gliche which is acceptable. Hope someone with should be able to raise the flag at some time. I hope things get sorted for me to continue my service.

guys lets put these problem to the higher authority of Vodafone as the no 51717 is the common amongst all o[censored]s .

I also had been charged Rs.742 on my vodafone connection on 08-Jun. This is total cheating and fraud by charging on a number 51717, which was not called.

Today i received vodafone bill with excess bill Rs 700 for special number 571717*0 .this is totally cheating and fraud .
Please guys lets put these problem to the higher official of vodafone, otherwise we are planing to port our numbers other network.

I have been also Charge 308 INR for calling this number 51717, which i have never made. #vodafone stop fooling people around, When i called customer care i was been told that details of the number can not be shared if you want, you can put a mail to vodafonecare.[protected]@vodafoneidea.com for irrelevant charging and reversal.
