Vodafone — Network Issues | |||
I have ported my 2 numbers from Vodafone Mumbai to Vodafone Karnataka. Since then I am facing an issue with regards to network. Vodafone doesn't have 3G network in Karnataka (this is what they confirmed when I raised a complaint), hence they have tied up with Airtel. This was not informed to me while porting the number. Due to this user need to select the network manually in Network Settings. I am facing network issue, as every after half an hour or one hour, on my mobile it shows message ""Managed Roaming - Network with limited service found. Do you want to initiate a network search?"" and then select the network. Twice I got a message as ""No SIM"" however it was showing the network. I raised a complaint on 14th Aug & TAT was 7 days. On 7th day Vodafone provided me some settings but even after that I was facing same issue. When I called Vodafone call centre they said that they have closed the complaint, hence raised another complaint which again7 days TAT. During this period I spoke to around 30-40 people asking for the status (each time I had to explain the issue) CSR said that I have to wait for 7 days. On 7th day when I called Vodafone (as there was no response), CSR told me that the complaint was closed & another complaint was raised without any resolution. I have escalated the matter to Nodal & Appellate but there is no response from them as well, not even holding reply. Have marked TRAI Nodal officer on that. No one is responding to the complaint. People who are trying to reach me on my mobile are getting message ""Number is not reachable or switched off"". Even I tried calling from landline on my number, I got same response even though it was showing full network. Vodafone is not providing any solution & closing the complaint without resolution. (1) Phone shows the status as "Roaming" within Bangalore also, every 15-30 mins it says "Selected network not available is not available, do you want to select the network manually" and I have select the network manually.
(2) Anyone trying to call me getting message "The number you are trying to reach is either switched off or not reachable." Even though it shows full network on the mobile
(3) Have to dial around 4-5 times If I need to call anyone.
Still the network issue is not resolved.
Last week CSR called me and gave me pathetic solution. She told me to switch to 2G network if I want to make a call & select 3G option when I want to use Internet. This is really pathetic, how can they expect the to user to select the network manually for calling & browsing.
