Dear Sir,
This is with regard to electricity theft and high electricity bills by WBSEDCL and inability to register a complaint online ( once u type ur complaint, the submit button doesnt work) and even at phone no-one picks up or when they pick up a consumer call, they disconnect it
I am a working employee and have a flat at the Green Vista Block C, Flat 3A, Narayanpur, Battala, Kolkata 136 and my consumer number is [protected].
It's been more than 2 years my flat is vacant and no one lives there. And the electric connection was disconnected due to non payment of bills(abnormal units charged, around 1200 units inspite of property was not used)
However, last week we decided to reconnect our electric connection. We paid for the last outstanding bill which was around 11000 rupees, along with 6000 rupees fine.
Now, as soon as the officials arrived and reconnected the meter, the units shoot up again showing 3000 units charged from the last time. The official checked that although the main electric connection line was off, the units in the meter were still running. The official warned that someone is stealing /connected their line to your main line.
Request you to please kindly take action. We won't be able to pay for such illegal activities.
I wanted to register this complaint but on the phone, noone picks and line disconnects. They have made a online section but very smartly once you press the button for "submit" it also doesn't work. Clearly they avoid any complaint handling but are quick to serve
disconnection notices.
I need someone to address this issue as I am not getting even a way to lodge a complaint with this company.
