[Resolved] Whirlpool India — fraud amc of refrigerator | |||||
I was contacted by whirlpool company to inform me that warranty period of my triple door refrigerator will be over in the month of march 2017 and they suggested me to go for one year amc by paying an amt of 3140 inr. I did that and the payment was also debited from my account on 10th april 2017. But On 3rd august we found that there is no cooling happning in the refrigerator and i logded a complaint at toll free number but i was shocked to hear that my amc was not punched but he said no need to worry tomorrow the engineer will come and repair the refrigerator and you can show the amc document to him and he will not charge any amount but next day the engineer said he cannot repair it until its punched... (I doubt the sincerity of whirlpool as after collecting the payment the company is not punching the details of amc into the system it could be a fraud or whirlpool policy is a faulty one) they donot care bout the the customer. I contacted mr. Vimal of whirlpool who did my amc [protected] and he was very casual said i need some time to check the case. I requested him to check it asap as my refrigerator is not working and all the things will become waste (Frozen foods, milk, curd etc) but after speaking to different persons for 3-4 hours there was no solution.. The engineer said you need to pay around 3000/ to get it repaired... Its cheating by the whirlpool why a customer is forced to pay even after getting amc... I was so shocked, disgusted that even after paying amt for amc the company is not repairing my appliance... Dear whirlpool rep... Please do let me know about my fault? I trusted whirlpool.. Is that my fault? Who would bear the loss of mine and the discomfort happned to me? I am planning to file a case in the consumer court... Very very pathetic experience with whirlpool..
