Whirlpool India — Newly brought Whirlpool fridge not working and mental harassment from customer service

We recently brought a whirlpool double door fridge and washing machine. The fridge has been giving problems since day 1. First of all, there was ice formation at the back of the freezer. Then the cooling stopped altogether in the fridge. Lodged a complaint at [protected]. They send a technician who was very incompetent. He melted the ice and then left. After 2 days the same problem repeated. After lodging a complaint the same technician came and did the same procedure. When asked what's the issue he said that the thermostat is not working. Need to be replaced. He went to get the thermostat snd brought another technician with him. He said the heat sensor need to be replaced. They said they will come the next day to do it. The next day after the heat sensor was changed my MCB kept tripping. Then the technician called another technician who did something in the back panel and said that the fridge will be working fine now. I also got a whirlpool ka stabilizer. But since today there is heavy condensation in the fridge and big water droplets are falling on my vegetables and other items kept in the fridge. I called and asked the technician to file for a return for the product as it is faulty. He has not done that. I am feeling mentally harassed by all this experience. The technicians treated my home as an experiment lab. My food items get spoiled every day. I want whirlpool to replace my fridge as soon as possible.

Hi I have almost the same compliant and has an intelifresh model which has been giving ice formation inside fridge. I enquired outside and gotbto know that this model has such constant complaint and is discontinued now and also parts are nt available. Like you mentioned there were rounds of technician visitings and experimenting and now the only part left to be changed was ordered and guess what it's not available anywhere in India. The offer they have given us now is provide 25% amount of the fridge after the depreciation (fridge is 4 years old) if we can buy another whirlpool fridge. Who would want to take that risk after all these drama. This is not at all fair, expecting someone to understand and resolve.
