Product - Whirlpool 240 L Frost-Free Multi-Door Refrigerator (FP 263D Protton Roy, Alpha Steel)
Ordered this on 22-Sep-2022. The fridge stopped cooling on 29-May-2023. We raised a support ticket on 30-May-2023 around 11 AM and were told that a technician will visit us within a day. However, we did not receive any calls from technician or local service center. On 31-May-2023, we called at 12 noon to check on the status and were asked to provide all details again even though a support ticket was logged.
We were provided 4 different technicians numbers from the Whirlpool customer support line.
1 number is switched off.
1 person told us that this pincode does not belong to him and he will not be visiting for support.
After 5 calls with the customer care line, we were told that it is 4 PM and technician will not be coming on 31-May-2023.
Also, we were told that technician might or might not come on 01-Jun-2023. So we have a non-cooling refrigerator from 3 days and no support so far from Whirlpool.
We can call a private technician but that will void the warranty and we will be stuck with a non-working product.
We gave up after this and logged a consumer complaint on UMANG portal.
I will advise not to buy a Whirlpool product. STAY AWAY from Whirlpool.
