I registered a case in whirpool customer service. Since my washing machine producing an abnormal sound at the time of spin. So the service guy called me and asked me about the issue. I explained him very detail. Finally he came to our house Yesterday 08/02/2016 and simply standing near to the machine he said it is due to bearing failure. For servicing Rs.4500/- is required. So I told him I don't want to spend more on this older machine. I will buy a new one.
For that he is asking me a visiting charge of Rs.450/-. He never open anything, simply stand near to the machine for 1 minute and asking me the visiting charge.
If no service has been done, why should I give this much. Even if he spent at least half an hour or above for an inspection. Then there will be logic of paying the inspection charge. But here he spent only 1 min and asking us to pay visiting charge.
