We purchased a refrigerator from whirlpool in 2015.
In 2016 april, a service engineer who had come for amc renewal for other whirpool appliances suggested us to avail amc for refrigerator at a discount for 2 years for the period november 2016 to november 2018.
In 2016 november, another engineer contacted us for amc renewal. We had forgot that we had already availed amc and paid him for one year for the period november 2016 to november 2017. This means we were double booked for amc for same period.
When we found this out and contacted, they told they will extend amc till november 2019.
Last week, we had a problem and called for service. The service manager told amc is expired. They came and did service and charged us 2300 bucks.
Dont you feel this is cheating?
I am attaching the image proofs for your reference.
Please treat this as priority and request you to respond at the earliest.
I want nothing less than a refund.
Or else, i am planning to take it in public forum (Social media) and file a complaint in consumer court.
If a loyal customer who owns whirlpool fridge, washing machine, ac, water purifier is treated like this, what will you do for a normal customer?
