[Resolved] Whirlpool — Window ac and fridge | |||||
I bought a whirlpool fridge and 3 windows ac. Though the products are good but if it gives any problem, the service centres (3rd party) folks are unprofessional and always look out for replacing components so that they can make easy money. I complained about my fridge icing in the lower part (Vegetable) and they sent a mechanic ashok m # [protected] and said thermostat is not working and replaced it for inr 2300/- and said fridge is working now. He even open the freezer and have shown me fan which is fitted there which was intact and he couldn't find any issue with the fan at that point in time. After he left i have noticed that fridge stopped working at all and came after 2 days and since he couldn't find the issue removed the fan in front of me which was absolutely fine, he has forcefully removed a blade of the fan when i went out for a minute and shown me that the fan blade is broken hence the fridge is not cooling. How come the freezer was working if the fan was broken at the first place, then secondly in front of me when he removed it, the fan was intact and how come it gets broken when after removing he put it on floor and i could see it intact. Since i have escalated the issue with whirlpool area service manager, he forcefully break it and then replaced it. His incharge m # [protected] in an earlier occasion calls me and tells me that umang (Dont recollect the name) or some other service centre who does ac repairing for whirlpool, he said they sent new recruited untrained mechanics for repairing and asked me to lodge complaint with whirlpool area manager and shared his no with me. All these service centres blames each other but won't provide proper service to the customer and blames that since you got it repaired earlier from outside, this issue is coming. Without any issue of the thermostate they replaced it by charging me and not able to diagnose the actual problem. I have got my fridge repaired from an outside mechanic yesterday since then its working fine. Though good products but the outsourced service guys are frauds and the brand is damaging its brand value and loosing customers Was this information helpful? | |||||

Incharge is the same guy who contacted me when my AC was not cooling and some other agency sent their service mechanic, he asked me to escalate it to the Whirlpool new area manager and has shared his contact no with me.
Ultimately i have got my fridge repaired by an external person and its working fine now.
