Xiaomi India — swelling of battery

I bought mi 4a (Mobile) online through flipkart but it's battery automatically swelled up with in one month from the date of purchase. I contacted with mi service centre and made contact with mi customer care also but they didn't replace the battery and informed that there is no warranty on battery and you have to pay for its replacement whereas as per advertisement company provides 6 months warranty on battery..
