Yo China — grievance about service and billing

Hi, we were a party of 8 adults (one a 95 year old vegetarian lady) and 2 kids (2 more were a toddler and an infant) who had visited yo China south sarania Guwahati. At the waiter's insistence, we had ordered the buffet. I was the host and I wanted the less pricey buffet but the waiter said the costlier one would be better since it had more items. We had also ordered 4 jars of mocktails, 3 glasses of mocktails, and a 60 ml drink.
They took a very very very long time to serve us with the mocktails even. Almost an hour. I had to make several rounds of the reception desk to insist they bring us the food. The children were getting very restless and hungry. So were the adults. By the time they started bringing in the starters the appetite of the party was already killed. Even when the brought the mocktails, they first brought in only 3 glasses, they brought the jars after another 20-25 minutes. Half the party was served soup. There other half waited for another 20 minutes before being served. It was the worst and most haphazard service.
After 3 courses in starters all were full and could not eat anymore. It was already so late the children were sleepy. All our dining plans were destroyed.
It was then I requested the waiter to charge us ala carte for the food we had already eaten. They said they would ask the "senior manager". They spent another half and hour neither giving us and resolution nor serving us food. Finally they waived off only the kid bills and 1 adult bill and served us dessert.
So, after wasting an entire evening and eating only very small quantities of starters and dessert, I ended up paying 5.5k.
Please resolve this discrepancy in device and pricing since it is my hard earned money. I would gladly take an offer for having the main course buffet on another day if we do not return a part of the money I paid. I am willing to approach the consumer Court if the issue is not resolved.
