This is with reference to my son.

Was seeking enrollment for IIT coaching at Aakash Hebbal centre Bengaluru.

On 9th may 2019 we approached the Hebbal branch for admission to Advance JEE and discussed about the process.

On10th of May 2019, we got several calls from the branch office to make the payment towards registration instantly otherwise we may loose the scholarship entitled to my son.

Therefore we promptly made the payment towards the same vide NEFT dated 10th May 2019

With PSID [protected]. For Rs. 17700.


Later on my father who is also into the education counseling profession suggested us to change the stream to commerce instead of Medical /Engineering.

We understand that as per Aakash policy, admission fee once paid is non refundable. But this payment was made under pressure from your Hebbal branch and they did not even minced a word of non refundable terms.
It is only after I asked for refund, they started briefing the terms and conditions.

We only pray and request your good self to consider the above case on humanitarian grounds and refund.



I would be highly obliged for this kind gesture of yours.

    regarding refund of my security deposit

    My daughter is studying in the institute. She opted for two years medical course in it. The faculty for different subjects suddenly left the institute.
    How can the faculty leave in between?
    Is this the way you are running the institute?
    Is there no protocol made for your institute?
    Hope you will understand our problem and take action soon.

    I had enrolled for two years course at Aakash and had paid a security deposit of ₹5000, which was to be fully refunded. But only ₹1777 was refunded instead of ₹5000. Why was the full amount not refunded? I am enclosing a picture of the security deposit slip for reference.

      Sir, my son has enrolled his name for non medical stream in your esteemed institution at time of interaction with your personal, we were quite impressed with their services n attitude or i immediately paid the fees through credit card on 11/05/2019, its initial stage n yet to enrolled the name of my child mr. Tejaswi bhagat after few day my child decided to change streams from non medical to commerce in spite of our wholeheartedly convincing to my child ultimately he decided for studying in commerce after that we approached your amritsar branch on 15/05/2019 and submitted the application for refund my amount.
      We are very depressed to see the indifferent attitude of your staff n their casual approach being a parents what is the fault at our end. We paid my hard core money for the betterment of child. Even then classes are not start. You are requested to arrange the refund of my money. Your kind cooperation helpful me to further entry in your institute for my another child.

        refund of registration and admission fees

          Please note that my son anusko chowdhury (Psid-[protected], roll no[protected] is taking aakash classes at aakash institute north kolkata branch for medical for 2021.

          Unfortunately the chemistry & zoology coaching classes are of very poor standard. I have already informed the branch co-coordinator & branch head regarding the matter. They have informed me that they have already informed the matter to the corresponding teachers but no remarkable result have been found yet. I have also came to know that coaching of all subjects are excellent at central & south kolkata branches but they are very far from my residence. At present i am feeling very embarrassed & helpless. I can't believe that a pioneer institute like aakash cannot provide good quality teaching after charging a huge amount from the parents.

          I will be much obliged if you take necessary action regarding the above matter

            When i registered for the same i forgot to download the admit card. I know where my centre is but i wanna ask can i be allowed to enter without admit card!... Huge trouuble sir reply soon as tomorrow is my exam..

              My younger sister is weekend batch in ballupur chowk in akash. They recommended to buy the tab, but they are so reluctant to help that they are not even putting my call on hold and now not even picking my number.

                Recently i have enrolled for bitsat mock test and paid the given amount, after paiying for it i had been reponded with application number user id and password... I had logdin with it but i could find appropriate page where i should attempt my mock tests.

                Also i fould a page called aakash cbt but it asked my aakash psid. And ididnt get aakash psid after regestration... Please guide me...

                  I took admission in PS batch in bhopal in 2018 and the name of Person who admitted me was Sanjay Jain. I have taken admission in akash two yr engineering program now I have completed my programe and when I go to office for refund of my security deposit they always tell me that there is refund process going it has taken about one month for that process but dont get my security deposit return. At the time of admission you take all money randomly but at time of returning it you have so many process which take more than a month.

                      My ward studied there for 2 years course om medical entrance coaching. Her course is already completed.

                      For the past three months, i have been following it up aakash bangalore indiranagar branch for the refund of rs 5000 (Security deposit) every time the same reply i get as "wait for 2 more weeks".

                      I have contacted the accounts guy mr manoj. He never checks any status and simply says, wait for 2 weeks.

                      I have escalated to mr maneeshkumar, branch manager. And he is also giving the same excuse.

                      I really got frustrated.

                      Is really aakash willing to payback our money or keep it themselves by behaving like this. They are asking parents to go from pillar to post.

                      When shall i get the money back??? Any idea to give it back or no??

                        My daughter ms. Khushi jain had enrolled in your institute for classes to be starting from april 2019. The payment of rs 17, 700/- was made vide receipt number 117rcc/a1808210 dated december 9th 2018 on account of “[protected] ty-first step course for jee (Main and advanced)- before xth board results”.

                        However, my daughter changed her mind and wished to pursue commerce instead of science. The same was communicated to your office well before the commencement of classes vide letter dated 19th feb 2019 and acknowledgement from your office was taken for request to refund the payment made for enrolment of the course (Copy of the letter attached).

                        I had informed your office well in advance regarding change in subject of my daughter and requested for refund of the payment made during enrolment. Aakash institute being a renowned institution in india should respect the candidate career choice and refund the payment of rs 17, 700/- made during enrolment as she did not attend any classes and informed your office approx 1.5 months before commencement of the classes under “refund before start of the course”.

                        Also, request you to also return the post-dated cheques submitted to you during enrolment of the course.

                        An early response shall be appreciated.

                        Dear Parent! Thank you for writing to us. With reference to your mail, please be informed as per company policy the registration fee is non-refundable. This is stated in the Terms & Conditions mentioned in the brochure.
                        “NON-REFUNDABLE REGISTRATION FEE: Registration Fee is NOT refundable under any circumstances whatsoever” Hope the above is of order.

                        This is pure cheating as while admission, you have not mention the amount paid as registration fees but said this as advance tuition fees but while asking for refund, you are claiming the amount paid was registration fees so that you need not refund the amount. This is pure cheating with me.Why didnot you mentioned "Registration Fees" in your receipt if amount paid was against the registration fees? Your center has given acknowledgement to my letter regarding refund and the letter was addressed 1.5 months before commencement of classes. Please do not play so low that student feels morally down for choosing subject as she feels that her father is losing money because of her . Kindly refund the amount after adjusting the GST paid and show goodwill gesture.

                        This is pure fraud as while admission, you dont mention the amount paid as registration fees but say this as advance tuition fees but while asking for refund, you claim the amount paid was registration fees so that you need not refund the amount. This is pure cheating with parent. A parent while admission thinks Aakash as reputed institution and will not do such cheating. But this type of incidents shows that Aakash has forgotten ethics and focus only on money. Why dont know you mention "Registration Fees" in your receipt if amount paid is against the registration? By this type of low level activity, you are making others not to trust this brand which was thought to be ethical. When candidate informed you 1.5 months before commencement of class that as a goodwill gesture also you should have respected the childs future ambition and refunded the total amount but you dont do so to earn some money at the cost of your reputation. It is very shameful.

                          I had got my son enrolled in alaska institute in the academic session 2018-19 for engineering batch of fr01 (Sector 16 gandhinagar, gujarat) and is currently studying in class 12 in fr-02 batch[protected].in class 12, faculty of chemistry (Ashish sir) has been replaced with a new faculty. His class room teaching is absolutely non productive. He is himself confused and not at able to clear the concepts. He even sometimes blames students for his silly mistakes on the board and says his concentration to be on us. Students are suffering a lot. This serious matter should be looked into as soon as possible. I had lodged my complain/concern with branch head mr basu on 06.04.2019. He had promised to look into the matter but nothing has been done so far. Please change the faculty with the better one for the sake of students and reputation of aakash institute. An early action is highly solicited. Please also convey me the name of head of ahmedabad so that i can raise my concern.

                            I admitted my daughter in aakash, shaikpet hyderabad branch in dec, 2018 and classes to start in april 2019 as they told me that they have tie up with school my daughter goes to.
                            They made me pay fee of rs 1, 27, 611 in dec 2018.
                            After fee is paid aakash told me they are cancelling the batch and they have no tie up with school.
                            Aakash refused to pay me back even when they took fee from me by lying about school tie-up. They say aakash policy is not paying back even if the mistake is on their side and they cancel batch.
                            After several calls and month later, they said they will pay by withholding 17k.
                            Again, after several more calls, they will pay but in few weeks. They took bank details to transfer money.
                            Called after few weeks in april 2019 and they tell me that my money is paid in march.
                            When asked for details of payment, they tell me that they did not pay, but a check will be mailed to them from delhi to them.
                            Whenever they receive the check, they call me to collect the check and they say it could take several weeks to receive the check.
                            I am back to where i was. What do i do now?

                              My ward enrolled herself for the neet crash course in aakash's jayanagar branch. After attending the classes for 3 days, she realised that the faculty is not competent/knowledgeable enough. She strongly believed that this course is going to be counter productive. I spoke to the branch manager who asked me to fill up a refund form and assured me that he would help get maximum refund.

                              There was no response from him for about 2 weeks. When i followed up, he mentioned that he can return only the security deposit

                              Can you please address this attitude of aakash despite deficient service

                                I am a student of Aakash (Ambernath branch)
                                My PSID is [protected] and my roll number is [protected]. I have enrolled for the CBT but I forgot to download the Admit card. I tried logging in the site to download admit card

                                But it said that I had input invalid credentials. I tried logging several times but it was in vain. I tried logging in itutor app with the same I'd and password, it worked but it did not work on the site to download CBT admit card.
                                Please provide the admit card as soon as possible.

                                  There has been constant and irresponsible response from akash live. Payment was done on 24 th and now its 26 th yet there is no access to linkfor lectures
                                  But only payment receipt had come. When they seeked my daughter to be enrolled they called so many times. Now no response."now i require a refund". Since she hasnt used the class at all till now.
                                  We dont know why log in credentials were given to us and what use they were of..
                                  The officials are extremely rude.
