Aarogya Path Care — Faulty reports

This has reference to the captioned subject..I booked two packages of 100 tests each for my parents...In addition to this an advance test of Lipase and Amalyse was also booked for my mother..The total cost of these tests was fixed to be Rs 3200/-..They are staying 8n Malerkotla where the sample collection service is not available.Si they altogether travelled to my place at Ludhiana for these tests..The samples were to be collected at 8.30 am in 11th November..Despite confirming the timings of sample collection, the technician (Mr.Sumit)came to take the samples at 7am in the morning due to which I had to wake my parents early . Both of them are elderly and it is difficult for them to get up immediately..Anyhow they gave the samples..I made the payment there and then in cash, receipt of which is attached herewith..The reports came late evening for my father and mother's reports came next day late night ..The no of tests promised were 100 but the reports shows only 96 tests.

The lipid profile test report showed triglycerides levels as 776 which means that they are above the maximum dangerous levels which was like a shock to all o[censored]s and it made us so stressed and tensed ..we booked an appointment with one of the senior doctors of PGI for my parents immediately..They had to altogether travel to Chandigarh early morning which has caused physical trouble to them..

The doctor checked the reports and after examining them said upfront that the reports are faulty..The symptoms and the results of the reports does not match..Doctor advised to repeat the tests..she prescribed the medicine for high cholesterol levels and advised to repeat the tests.On her advise i got her tests repeated today which shows her triglycerides levels to be 260..the report is attached herewith...

This entire episode had caused mental agony, physical trouble of traveling, torture, wasteful expenditure and wastage of time to elderly people..

I would like to state that this is gross negligence on the part of the Lab..This leads of deficiency of services and appropriate action can be taken against Aarogya Pathcare..Before booking the tests i repeatedly confirmed that the samples shud not get mixed with other patients and utmost care shud be taken..The lab guys assured me on this and on their assurance I booked the packages..

The entire cost of the packages along with the travelling expenses plus a compensation of Rs 1 lac be given to the aggrieved Elderly Couple..If not done will be left with no other option than to file a consumer complaint ..

The entire episode had been communicated to Mr.Shivam who contacted me for these packages..I called them but have received no revert from them..

You are therefore advised to intervene in the matter immediately so as to avoid and legal complications..

All the required documents have been attached herewith..
