Accu Chek Active — machine giving error code eee

I am using accu chek active glucometer for past 2 years and now it is not working, i tried calling service center but no response and i am not sure what to
Do, their website does not help, i am not able to find a service center nearby

After i put a strip in the machine it displays an old reading and then it displays eee error code and after the beep, it turns off
