Accu-Chek — Company selling product with misleading information

Hi, I recently bought an Active glucometer from the Accu-Chek India website http://www.accu-chek.in/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Product_101_101_-1_41309_103_1...⇄ I bought the model specifically because it had a USB port for interfacing with a computer. This feature is also mentioned on the box and the manual provided inside. It is not mentioned anywhere that I need to purchase any additional software. Later I discovered that the software, required for connecting the device to a computer, is not available in India. Even the drivers are not available for download anywhere. I enquired about this with their customer support and they kept saying that this feature was not available in India... for now. I'm really surprised how the company is selling a product without providing something which is being prominently highlighted as a feature. Since I paid the amount upfront after seeing the promised feature I think I'm entitled to the software as well. Thanks, Saugata
