Activa Appliances — defective product and no installation support

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am filing this complaint under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 against [Activa Geysey] and [E-commerce Platform- Amazon India], for selling a defective geyser and failing to provide any after-sales service despite repeated requests.

Issue Summary:
1. After delivery, no technician contacted me for installation, despite multiple follow-ups.
2. I had to bear the cost of local installation as the company did not provide service.
3. Within just two days o[censored]sage, the geyser started leaking and then completely stopped working (no power, no heating).
4. Despite raising complaints, no response or resolution has been provided till date.

This has caused me financial loss, mental harassment, and inconvenience.

Relief Sought:
• Immediate repair/replacement of the defective geyser by an authorized technician, OR
• Full refund of the purchase amount with compensation for additional installation costs and harassment.

I kindly request Consumer Court/NCH to take strict action against the seller/platform for selling defective products and for their gross negligence in providing customer support.
