Dear Sir,
I am writing this complain to you on 12/02/2017 Sunday 2.33 AM local Time loud speakers are being played on full loud voice disturbing my family's sleep. My mother is 80 Years old senior citizen who served the people of this state as a teacher. Please refer below mentioned complain. It is too much that even after complaining to Commissioner of Police still situation is same and no actions are being taken. Honourable Supreme Court's judgement is also there that sleep is fundamental right of Indian Citizens. Its a pathetic situation that police department is not taking this issue seriously. It is discrimination on the basis of a "class" if the same complain could have been from the Elite Western Ahmedabad where capitalist, rich and influential people are staying same police department could be very active. Police being public servant should not do this. Again as a citizen of this country I am asking police department why police is not taking any actions against such people who are continuously disturbing with loud speakers, fire crackers at late night in the middle of the city? How many permissions police have granted to such people to play loud speakers on such a loud voices disturbing the peace of the night. If the same could happened to you what you will do sir? If continuously thrice in a week if some one play loud speakers close to your residents what would you do? Please take some actions and spread fear amongst DJ/loud speakers owners and other people who are frequently breaking law of the land. It is my humble request to Police Department that please warn people who are playing loud speaker without police permission.

Subject:- Violation of the Right to sleep, the fundamental right of the citizens of India.


Dear Sirs/Madams,
I, Acharya Harikrushna Farashuram, staying at Sarangpur, Ahmedabad, complaining to the Honourable public servants of the Gujarat Governent/Ahmedabad city to maintain peace at night in my area and allow me to sleep at night which is my fundamental right as the citizen of India which my constitution is giving me. I am writing this complain to you at night 1.35 am Loud speakers are going on loudly, its disturbing me so that i am after lot of irritation I am writing this complain to you. Close to this particular area there are Kagadapith Police station, Kankariya police station, Raipur darwaja police station. It is understood that(legal) educationally backward police even dont understand that its a crime! It is common in this area. Such load speakers are going on twice or thrice in a week but police is sleeping in Kumbhakarni sleep!!! Its a my humble request to the Honourable District Collector of Ahmedabad, & Honourable Chief Secretory, Home Ministry, Honourable Governor of Gujarat, to take stern/firm actions against such violators who are disturbing people's sleep for the whole night. I am requesting to the Honourable Chief Justice, Supreme Court of India & Honourable Chief Justice, Gujarat High Court, to take Suo-Motu Writ petition. Because police department is very inactive in this regard. When public call them on 100 no they sometimes take it easy and send police very late and several times they do not send police van at all under the local political goons who are vote hungry. It is duty of the government/police to file cases against such violators of laws who play loud speakers at night but police is not taking any such actions. If police had taken legal actions against such violators they will not play loud speakers at night because they have to surrender all the loud speakers DJ electronic materials to police for legal procedures but police dont file charge sheets at all in the court of laws and people are suffering a lot. Old age senior citizens, those who are suffering from some kind of deceases, students those who are studying at night, people who have to go for work early morning dont get sleep whole night due to such continuance of sound pollution. I am not writing further in this regard as I know that all of you are highly learned public servant and know very well the plight of the people in such situation. May be you people are staying in very elite and posh area of Western Ahmedabad so you might not have seen such heavy sound pollution. But please let us live in this world I am not jealous of your peaceful sleep but let us also sleep in peace as our Constitution guaranteed us.
