I traveled on Airasia on 5th august 2022. It was amidst huge celebrations of their inaugural flight . I had reached very early at the airport. After a short delay and a bumpy flight to my horror my baggage had not reached Bengaluru. I was in a business trip.
Three hours of wait and unclear responses and with no baggage and my waiting cab charges me for night charges and waiting charges. Hotel which was 1 hour drive had shut kitchen as i reached at midnight. Flight landed at 7.30 but nobody knew how to support. They said come n pick lugggage tomorrow. I put my foot down. Said i[censored] would have informed me before hand at the airport in lucknow i would have known this is happening but a lonely woman in a new city with distances to manage it should be delivered at my doorstep asap. Reluctantly they agreed. I asked for compensation as it was not my fault that i wasn't informed. I would have arranged something otherwise.
Had to buy clothes shoes medicines and other essentials for my official meetings.
No sight of luggage on day three.
Duty manager assured help but no cAlls are picked. Last night 10 Pm i got a call saying luggage is being delivered now. Waited till 1 am no sight.
She told me to write to nodal officer who responds within 24 hours. No response on day three yet.
Today Megha from airport said we will try and send.
So much me tal harrassment.
I need compensation for the expenses so far. My luggage to reach without any losses .
