Airindia — Refund not provided for Lockdown travel

Hi, PNR YMCMZ had to be cancelled for 20 March 2020 travel as India had a restrictions for international travellers and lockdown was invoke. We couldn't travel and raised a cancellation request 8 days prior to the travel, we have been assured that the request is raised and refund will be processed. Till date (Aug2022) we have not heard anything from AirIndia on the refund nor received any payment. Multiple feedback complaint raised (example - case ID[protected], however no response so far. I would like to file this as a complaint being a foreign nation and experiencing such a terrible service for a simple refund as we couldn't travel due to the restrictions placed in by Indian government to lockdown everything and international travellers. Cancellation was processed through phone and assured a refund. Nothing given. Kindly look into this issue and provide some intervention in this. Thanks. Regards, NIlesh D
