I have been talking to airtel from almost 7 months regarding the pathetic network issues. I would have made 100's of calls to customer service to get it resolved, but there was no help at all.

Since, i did not get any positive help or response, i stopped using the service abruptly. And, also i had made it clear to them that i will not pay the dues till the issues are resolved.

Now that i am no more using their service, i need my full dues, or at least 70% of my due payment to be waived off as a goodwill gesture. I have the call recordings with me to substantiate my problems.

    I have raised mnp request from airtel karnataka circle to port the mobile number [protected] and its not happened from last three weeks. Always its saying mnp is progress.

    When ask customer care, they are saying its waiting from mnp response.
    Can you please help me to port the mobile number.

    I should receive either rejected or processed. No response.

      Hi team,

      I took a plan for 2499 last week however i am not happy with the customer service provided by airtel team, i am sorry to say this customer service continous i wil have to ask airtel to take back their iphone and i will stop making any kinds of payments, below is the summary of the whole scene :-

      1. End october - i visited newly opened airtel dealer store near noble hospital, beside icici atm bank magarpatta road asking for the details about the onlien story the staff was not user friendly and didn't gave me any details about the online store and asked me to check online as they don't have any details about it.

      2. First week nov i raised an online request to buy the phone and visited the same dealer storage again to confirm about the service they gave me all information confirming that my plan and the other child plan will be on unlimited calling plan with 30gb of data to both parent and child.

      3. Last week of nov - i was happy after receiving the phone however i had trouble adding the child to my base plan to resolve i visited again the same dealer store to which they gave me very stupid information, my child number is already an airtel postpaid number [protected], the person on front desk asked me to make the number to prepaid and then perform the port in and then they will make the number as postpaid then only my secondary number will be active with the unlimited plan, the whole idea sounded very incorrect to me that why being a customer i had to go through so many hassels,

      4. The same day on 21st nov i called the call center to which the person who attended the call was very soft spoken and helped me in adding the secondary number to the plan, i thought all my issues are resolved here bu the story of confusions with 2499 plan did int stopped here.

      5. 27th nov - my wife checked her plan in my airtel app and she saw that she is under 299 plan to which she was surprised and she called up csr again this time again csr misguided her and told her that she is under 299 plan and inspite of being my child she will be only provided with 1gb data per month and she will be charged for the outgoing, common you gotta be kidding me, so much of confusions.

      6. 27th nov - i again called up the csr and this time lady confirmed me that both the parent and child are underlimited calling plan and 30gb of data per month,

      Are you really kidding me for the person who will be paying 65k to airtel in two years has to go with so many hassels just to have an iphone, better would be i would have continued as vodafone customer and bought an iphone from amazon for 40k.

        Airtel is now becoming india's slowest network. They are not providing internet speed properly & also not providing services like a pro. On, 18th of september, 2017 sayan complained to airtel customer care (198) regarding slow internet speed. The executive asked him to wait for 48 to 72 hrs, and the internet speed will be increased. Meanwhile he was receiving 400 kbps (Approx) in 4g, where as a 4g internet connection means the transfer rate must be atleast 21 mbps. After 4 days after complain, he called 198 again, but got the same message to wait for 48 to 72 hours. Contacted again and again and again, but same messages he received from the executives. Later on 1st november, 2017, he called up again as usual, but the executive frankly told sayan, to port to other operator. Yes, you read the right thing. He still trusted airtel and continued with the connection and called again and again. Sayan was using 776 inr plan [649 inr (Unlimited calls, 100 sms/month, 7gb slow speed 4g internet, internal taxes, useless excuses charges, etc)+ 18% gst]. Indian service no. Call charges + over sms charges extra.

        On, 26th nov, 2017, sayan finaly decided to change the no. From airtel to jio (Not so good, but much better and genuine than airtel). The executive was a woman. He asked her regarding porting to other operator, but she told some offers. He will be receiving 30 gb instead of 7 gb [per month in the same plan per month. Sayan replied, "i will be checking for today. If the internet speed, i will stay in airtel, else will shift to other operator". So she told that the same will be activated within a half hour.

        But, after an hour past, sayan went out and tried to connect to airtel internet, but was not connecting. Complained regarding this the same day at 9:30 pm. The executive don't know anything.

        Executive - he first told that a complain is already registered regarding this and will be fixed in 48 hours (Same old excuse).
        Executive - then he told you don't have data.
        Sayan - but data pack was there. Around 1.4 gb, and the same is still available.
        Executive - then your new plan is not yet activated. He took a complain and mentioned the same excuse.

        Around 2 am, sayan again contacted 198 for the same, but received the same excuses, with full of anger.

        Contacted on 27th nov, 2017, and received the same excuse. Even when sayan again asked to port to another no., executive replied, "you have to pay the full bill in pro data basis including current usage". But why? Why i will pay the bills all the time? You are not providing the proper service and now you are asking to pay the bill? Shameless. And why will i pay the usage of 26th nov, the whole day the internet was not working!!

        Airtel, if you can't provide a service properly, then please stop it. But, at least don't harass people of india with these fake excuses. Airtel is now india's slowest network. They are cheaters and no. 1 fraud company. Simply leave india, its my request.

          I have recently ported my number [protected] from other service provider to airtel. From the very first day 17th november 2017. I have been trying to activate missed call alert and call conference service. But after 10 days of service request i am only able to activate missed call alert but till date unable to get any positive response from airtel end for activation of call conference service. I am very surprised to see that everytime any problem arises i have to keep on following up with their team but haven't got any call back. Moreover after following up for the same the services have not been activated. This is really very frustrating and unprofessional from a brand who advertise to listen to customer. I really feel pity on myself for choosing airtel over vodafone. This kind of services is not at all acceptable.

            I didn't even opt for this then why this has happened to me?
            I deactivated the service through my airtel app. I want to ask why do you activate any service without customer acceptance. I want my money back.

              Last month even after not utilizing the data balance for airtel postpaid, airtel charged 500 rs for data charges. While looking at exceptionally high bill i checked the bill thoroughly and found that it is incorrect. After complaining at customer care they accepted the fault and told that it has been happening with all customers, but they did not do anything on their own and took action only after i complained.
              This month also the same problem is happening with my bill and it seems that this is some trick by airtel, those who dont check their bill will fall prey to the situation.

                I am facing very bad network issue since october and after giving complaints too there is no changes in the quality.

                For internet and calling facilities i am paying around 1000/- rupees per month but it seems they don't care about the consumer's issues. I think its time to port the number as they don't left any options for us.

                  My internet speed is very slow with speed of 2g, most of the times it doesn't work at all. Also i am facing voice drop and call drop issues. Every time they enquire, register a complain and promise to resolve it in few days, but those few days never gets over. I have been facing this issues regarding poor network and internet connectivity from long time and now i am thinking to port my number. I am really very very disappointed with airtel service.

                      my number always in not reachable

                      My phone number always saying not reachable. I am not getting any calls in my number. I phone number is [protected]/4g sim.
                      Please solve this problem. I am facing this problem in last two weeks. I am restart my phone many times but this problem was not solved. Immediately solve this problem. Otherwise i am going to change my network. All type signal is getting to my number but also it saying not reachable. Check the problem.....

                      Not sure how this mail is processed. I am writing this as a last resort. Probably a mail bot will send me an auto response.

                      Firtly, i have a 40mbps vdsl broadband connection but this connection is supported by airtel 4g hotspot from my phone!!! Ironic.

                      - ever since airtel shifted to vdsl, the consistency and reliability of bandwidth has deteriorated.
                      - i believe, the entire airtel chain of hierarchy is aware of it but there is little done to alleviate the pain
                      - i have never got 40mbps save the first 1 week since the #.
                      - i have made repeated request to 121 to do something about my bill. They have put the onus on me to beg and get the changes done. I definitely do not think it is customer delight in anyway.

                      I also under the reason because of all the tpvs that airtel has brought in for wireless services and keeps all the controls centrally. This is ridiculous in any form if airtel wants to have a great customer sat.

                      Essentially, the front line team has no authority or power to delight the customer and now the service has become even worse.

                      I have attached a few of 100s of screen shorts on the type of bandwidth i get.

                      Please resolve the issue technically and financially.

                      Thankfully, we now have other broadband service providers as options and i have been extremely patient despite paying top dollar for the services.

                        They simply deducted rs.35 for a week and added that it will be renewed after 1 week validity. To deactivate sms stop to 155223. And the money is gone.

                        I deactivated it and next day another rs.49 got deducted for hot chillies without ant request from our part. This is frustrating us. I am gonna port to idea soon.

                        This is pure kind of fraudulent activity. It's disgusting. They just pick pocket us especially from those struggling to meet the both ends.

                          I checked with the airtel customer care on isd charges for calling australia and was informed to be as rs.10/min flat. But when the bill came i was charged at rs.200/min. I raised a complaint with appellate team and they went through my call with their customer care executive and confirmed an error from their end in providing me the correct rates. The extra amount charged was adjusted on 17th nov 2017 and was told to pay remaining amount of 2555.41 against which i made a payment of 2560 the same day. Now the adjusted amount is showing back on my account and i'm struggling again with the airtel team. This is causing a lot of harassment and mental agony.

                            I was recharging my data plan with the 70 days 1gb /day pack of rs 448 online in my airtel number and i accidentally recharged 2 times and money was deducted both times.

                              I've transferred rs. 1, 75, 000 to my airtel payments bank ([protected]) using neft from my citibank on nov 6th. But it isn't credited to my airtel payments bank account yet. Citibank has confirmed again and again that the neft transfer is successful.

                                sim not working in roaming

                                I m using airtel prepaid sim [protected] north east airtel. On 25 of nov i entered in delhi at the time my sim was working. But on 26th of nov it was not. Network and 3g signal everything is showing but outgoing and incoming calls r going through it. This is not the problem of balance or anything i already had a recharge of 448 on 24th nov and a balance of 37₹ is also there sim validity is upto jan 18 after all of this i was not even able...

                                Airtel is charging rs.120 every month for this adofgames service. This is being done without user's consent or confirmation. No action has be taken against this practice even after numerous complaints.

                                  Our fixedline/broadband connection [protected] was working well till 21st nov 2017. Same was on adsl and without any request from our end, there was an attempt to convert it to vdsl from airtel. Configuration was never successful and internet connection is down since then.

                                  Service id 90460782 registered on 21st nov 2017 remains unresolved in spite of daily follow up and escalation. Every day a new promise is made to resolve the issue in next 24 hours. Reversal back to adsl is also rejected. Issue has cause huge in-convenience and repeated waste of hours together on daily basis to explain issue to customer service desk and technicians.

                                  Yesterday there was a call from escalation manager who promised to act immediately but nothing happened there after.

                                  We have been loyal customers of airtel and have been paying rs. 999 for mere 2mbps/100 gb connection. Request your kind attention to solve the issue at the earliest.

                                  We stay in an apartment complex with several airtel broadband connections, if issue remains unresolved i shall share my experience with other users in the complex to avoid them ending up with same problem

                                    My 4g sevices are not working and i contacted ur customer care services which were of no use to me as after they said ur data would be working in an hour but it did not happen and now i m frustated with them as they are not doing anything. I have always loved airtel and always recharged rs 899 pack and i loved this pack but now it is not working since past 7 days and bcoz of which i rechached again with a new pack of worth 349 yesterday which said the recharge have been done but i m unable to use it. I want my 349rs cash back and this is very disappointing to me that ur customercare services are of no use bcoz they dont help instead tells about whats going on nowdays and etc. And i have always done big recharges. So please kindly pay attention to this situation and return my 349 rs.
