After applying for a new connection (Application number rtblr7341882) on 23rd june 2017 and making 3 months payment of rs.2585/- via the website (Cheque/ ref no. 990631) they said it is not possible to activate due to technical reasons on 26th june via calls and emails. We initiated refund request - complaint number 89700882.in the meanwhile, some airtel agent called suresh activated the broadband on 30th june. But after 3 months bill generated was including the rs.2585/- that was already paid. When enquired customer care via lots of calls and emails they said that they never received the online payment - which was done on their website! Even after giving the reference number and showing bank's transaction statements. While doing these calls they removed the connection from home but did not deactivate the account and the bill now is still getting generated with 1-month extra amount even though we are not using it anymore. All the time getting calls from customer care to make the pending payment but nobody is giving the refund of the first payment of rs.2585/-. After calling for 47 mins and explaining the problem one of the customer care agent just put the phone on hold and went away. Called to so many other customer care agents but they redirected to seniors and after explaining the problem to everyone they just redirected to customer care number [protected] again. There are no branch offices in bangalore only stores who are not able to help and asked to call customer care. There is no option in website to deactivate the broadband connection like how other broadbands provide. Please help.

    Complaint for bill dated 6 Sept 2017.
    I had activated International roaming plan of Rs 2999 for 10 days only once but when i received the bill on 6th Sept it was charged thrice. Then I immediately called customer care, they said that it will be waved off, but after calling many times to customer care only one waiver was given.
    While charging the plan there was no intimation that it was auto-renewable plan. moreover while I was abroad there was no service for three days.
    I stayed abroad for 12 days. So for two days 649 plan should be charged instead which company advertises.
    Now company is calling my friends and family and giving threats that they will file a case against me and I will have problems in my passport and visa.

        Outgoing calls on my number (used for 10+ years) have been barred without any warning. There are no dues. Contacted 121 and was told that there is a "documentation issue" and I should contact Airtel office and there is no other way they can help me now. How unprofessional is this act especially since the phone is critical to my business.

          I made a Recharge through Airtel Payment Bank on 11-Nov-2017 which failed and I got a SMS from Airtel on 12th Nov that Transaction Status will be updated by 13th Nov.

          This didn’t happen.

          After that I registered a complaint (No 1014163) on 17th Nov 2017 and did a follow up multiple times. I got assurance from Airtel Supervisor that amount will be refunded in 48 hrs

          On 20th Nov 2017 i got a message that Airtel No (Another Airtel No) is recharged with same amount and they never took my consent.

          Please let me know in case a transaction got failed. As a process the amount should be refunded or Transaction will complete even after 10 days.

          Moreover today when i contacted the Airtel supervisor he told me nothing can happen now and if you want to do portability please go ahead as well and disconnected the phone.

          No it is not resolved yet. My complaint is if Transaction is initiated on 11-Nov-2017 and it gets failed. What should happen.

          In my case same Transaction got completed on 20th Nov 2017 which should not happen instead refund should be made.

          If the same thing happens(transaction fails) in a credit card Transaction refund is done rather that crediting the Vendor.

          Other Lapses.

          1. After the Transaction is complete on 20th Nov 2017. Starting Period of Recharge plan in this case is 11th Nov 2017. But it got reflected on 20th Nov in the account. So 10 days benefit is lost.

            With reference to complaint no. (Po[protected] for non-activation of my new sim obtained from airtel outlet, nandi durga road, bangalore, after a lot of delay, a lot of mental agony and complaining to airtel and visiting the airtel outlet at malleswaram and after repeatedly speaking to mr. Vinod, airtel manager, basavanagudi (Who is looking after malleswaram), it is to inform you that a verifier from airtel has verified my address on 18th nov 2017 at 10.50 am, obtained my signature and took a copy of my aadhar card too. At the same time, i received a phone call from airtel and the caller identified herself as airtel executive and i confirmed to her that the verification was over just then. The verifier told me that within a couple of hours, my number would get activated. The airtel executive also confirmed me the same. She, in fact, while discussing with me during her first call, put me on hold for a few minutes to discuss another issue with her colleague, which is not correct on her part.

            It is regretted that my number has still not been activated even after 56 hours after verification?

            Airtel repeatedly insulted me and caused mental agony to me.

            I’ve taken the sim more than 20 days ago.

            Airtel has committed two acts of deficiency of service:

            1. Delayed verification of address for more than 20 days;
            2. Non-activation of sim card even after 56 hours after verification of the address.

            I’ve paid the initial deposit while obtaining the sim. This is clear and repeated deficiency of service on the part of airtel after i paid the deposit to airtel.
            I intend to file a case for deficiency of service and mental agony suffered by me in hon’ble consumer court.
            I served a show cause notices to customer care, nodal officer & appellate authority under the relevant provisions of consumer protection act to airtel through mail.

            I reserve the right to quote this complaint in 'consumer complaints' also in my proceedings before the hon’ble court.

              I have raised a few requests to deactivate my mobile number, until now my number is not deactivated and i am getting the bill every month, which i will not be able to pay the bill as they not deactivated my mobile number despite many requests. This very unethical practice followed by airtel not to deactivate the number and generate the bill to customers. Please help in this matter. They are customer support team are rude to talk.

                I am unable to RC my airtel number([protected]).I have been trying to RC from 4 days but It shows transaction failed.I have called customer care numerous times but hell no proper response and just a same thing everyone says'we will have someone call you in 1 hour.

                Please look into this issue as its already 5 days now.

                  For the past few months i am trying to change my airtel postpaid plan. I want 499 per month plan. Currently, i am having 999 per month plan. My uasge is very less and so i am paying unwantedly high amounts every month. Also, the network speed is very pathetic inspite of having 3g/4g connection. Kindly do the needful asap.                     I applied through airtel app rs.29 from my bank a/c for 150 mb data for 30 days. Txn id 920801 date 16 sept 2017 from mobile[protected]. Received sms "payment failed, contact your bank". I gave a written complaint to canara bank, srirangam. Bank confirmed payment. Debit raised in my passbook. I approached airtel at srirangam they couldn't help. Made complaint online. Received email from airtel customer support that they are concerned with payments bank, this is direct bank payment and to contact service provider. I do not know who and where to contact. I wish to know where my money has gone.

                          temporary suspension of outgoing call on airtel mobile

                          No outgoing calls or outgoing sms from my airtel number. When i try to call it says"temporary suspension of outgoing call on this number kindly contact customer care." i have repeatedly contacted them but they are saying that the incoming and outgoing are activated in my number and there is nothing they can do to solve the issue. My reference number is ccnor[protected].
                          Please resolve the issue at the earliest....

                          I have 2 numbers with airtel [protected] and [protected] with both the numbers am not getting any incoming calls and data network is not working, sometimes out going calls works this am observing from 18-nov-2017 i have raised multiple complaints with airtel but issue not resolved, i have checked with bellandur airtel service centre & they said this is expected as they are doing some server upgrades allover the bangalore they can't do anything untill the upgrade it finished.

                          Just for airtel server upgrades, airtel users needs to suffer, more importantly no incoming calls which is a big thing as am not able to receive call from my family and also i have some expected couriers and they were not able to reach me and am missing the couriers.

                          Airtle can do server upgrades but ideally it should not impact on the users mobile communications.

                            Since morning i'm unable make calls from airtel prepaid sim which i recently converted from airtel postpaid but i'm able to receive calls.. I tried switching off and on method and even i reinstalled sim in slot.. Even then it's not working... Even i shifted my sim to another mobile but still the problem persists..

                            I tried contacting call center but unsure to talk to thier executives..

                            Very poor customer service from airtel... If the problem doesn't get resolved within tonight.. Airtel will have to bear loss occurred to me

                              I don't be able to use internet from today's morning (20 nov 17) it is not connecting at all. I was recharged datapack of 399 on 25th oct.
                              Also the same problem i was faced from 4 nov to 12 nov in which i not getting my 1gb per day my internet is not connecting. And i was complained everyday about this to customer care. And was updated on 13 nov.
                              And from 13 nov my net is sart working properly but only till the yesterday (19 nov) and from today's onward (20 nov) again i start facing the same problem.
                              What's the matter is this?
                              Please solve it as fast as possible bcz i have to do urgent works from the internet.

                                Airtel post-paid charge me excessive and meaningless bill. They sale me 199/- plan but they charge me as a 499/- executives of this company are didn't co operate with me properly. I told them my problem but they continuously charge me this kind of bill. And last two months they were stopped my mobile services although they charge me bill as a 499/- plan. When they sale me the plan then they told me unlimited call, 4gb 4g data and after 4 gb i can get unlimited 2g data. But after 1 month i knew that was false plan. They set me 499/- plan i informed them but they didn't change it although they charge me those bills when i didn't get any kind of mobile services from them. Airtel scam with us. They charge mobile bill as per their own decision. They used many kind of scamming tricks for their own profit. Although they threat us to legal notice. Its so called "airtel post-paid promise". Please take action regarding my information. And stop their scamming business.

                                  I asked them to provide me a new broadband connection for sumer nagar, opp kora kendra, borivali west, mumbai - 400092 but they say that it isn't feasible but some of mt neighbours and people in my society have airtel broadband connection. Don't know as to why they are refusing to provide the services to me. The day jio fiber starts commercially, everyone will switch and no one will even ask them. They should service the customers that they're getting now.

                                    I have been using dth connection of airtel, from. The beginning itself i am facing very poor service and each time was forced to call the customer service team atleast for 3-4 times for a proper feedback. On 8th nov i have requested a location change of my primary connection but the revert form the team was very poor as i was forced to call them again, later they have intimated that my customer i'd has to get split for this service and i will be getting a call back, two days i have waited and no one called me, which gmfirced me to call the service team again and at last they have send a local engineer for fixing new dish, surprisingly he assembled they have assembled vediocon dish instead of airtel and no signal is receiving by my setup box.,.. When asked employee responded very arrogantly and said "this is what i can do, go and do whatever you want". Need urgent attention for this as i am not able to use my set up box since november 7th.. And i am been paying unnecessarily for all these days...

                                      I had upgraded to airtel 4g about more than an year ago. Till now i never got any issues but suddenly the network was lost on my phone and the phone said, "sim card not ready / emergency calls only", i inserted my airtel 4g sim to a 2g handset and found the signals and everything working alright. The problem was only with 4g/3g handsets (I tried inserting my sim to other handsets too, but the problem was same) where the sim wasn't working. The sim also made my phone to restart and irresponsive.

                                      I visited the nearest airtel store. They gave me a sim and asked me to send an sms to 121 with xxxxxxxxu and then reply with 1. I did that but yet the signal in the old sim didn't got disconnected. I'm using the sim in my 2g handset. I talked to airtel customer service and they said i can't do anything by sending that sms because i already have upgraded to 4g. I'm confused, here the airtel store guys say something else and customer service fellows say something else..
