Airtel using bait and switch fraud strategy to suck money from the customers.

Bait: a call from airtel stating that - sir, for 499 you will get free local+std calls and 20gb broadband data. Customer says okay.

For one or two months they bill 499+taxes. 3rd month

Switch: airtel changes the plan from 499 to 599 without informing customers and bill for 599+ taxes.
Airtel customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.

      I dont know why it is not yet get activated? Is it because of heavy rain? Kindly activate pl.

        Today i recharge 399 rs in officiali website of airtel, but not writen recharge only for 4g handset my mobile [protected] is 3g handset i want return my money or convert 399 recharge in 3g mobile.

        Why are you not showing in properly information (399 recharge-unlimited local and std call along with 1 gb dayfor 70 day for non commercial use.) of public pls check and chnage portal information for recharge options.

        I am customer of airtel last 8 years but first time cheating with me

          My airtel number [protected] from delhi circle. I am unable to make outgoing calls in roaming and i've called customer care ref. No. Is cogcl[protected] registered on 07-nov-2017, ref. No. Is cogcl[protected] registered on 07-nov-2017, ref. No. Is cogcl[protected] registered on 08-nov-2017 but still the issue has not been resolved. It is high time to take necessary action against these big names who don't give importance to their customers

            It's been more than 4 days sms services have been stopped for my mobile after converting to 4g services. I've been calling to the customer care daily but they taking every day a new complaint and not resolving the issue. Even though i visited airtel store the purpose is not solved. It's been very pathetic services. I want to escalate the issue at next level

                I have to submit that I recharged my pre-paid Airtel Mob No. [protected] for Rs.200/- on 10.11.2017. Airtel without any notice deducted Rs.125/- the same day messaging that two services namely; Gaanakhazana, Funstore1, have activated. Another Rs.60/- was deducted on 11.11.2017 for Adofgames. I never ordered for these services. I called their representative at 121 customer Care number on 11.11.2017 and the attending lady admitted their mistake and told that Rs.60/ will be refunded but when I insisted for complete refund of Rs.185/- she referred me to their senior supervisor, Mr Deepak Singh. He was completely evasive and unhelpful. When asked to check and send me evidence of my any request on the basis of which services have been activated, he instead of sending the same started giving self contradictory reasons for not doing the same and flatly refused to admit the mistake and refund any amount.
                I, therefore, request that the matter may please be got examined and Airtel be ordered to refund the wrongly charged amount of Rs.185/- immediately or send me the evidence of my request on the basis of which deductions have been made.
                Also Co. may be penalized for this unfair practice which they might be doing with others also. Further they may be ordered to compensate me with Rs.5000/- for mental harassment and inconvenience caused.

                  Topdoctorsonline service activated on my airtel # [protected] without my consent on 13th nov 2017 and deducted rs 49/-.

                  Please deactivate it and credit rs 49 back into my account.

                  Please assist in resolving this. If i reply to the activation message i will be charged again. Airtel should not activate any services without my prior consent.

                      The worst network i have ever experienced in my life.
                      I spent my 500rs. To port on airtel considering it is a good company.
                      The worst 3 months of my life always network unavailable and trust me internet speed less than 2g. Always waiting and restarting my phone for signals.

                      Please respond to this complaint and i will surely get my money back otherwise will complain higher and fine the company massively remember me.

                          I have been using my prepaid airtel sim for more than 6 years now. It has been almost 2 years since I have upgraded it to 4g.
                          For the past 4-5 months, I have been recharging using the 'My Airel' mobile application. The app offers me 28 days of free calls and 1GB 4G data per day for Rs.349.
                          I noticed that for other customers (my friends), there was a better offer of Rs.399 which offered 84/70 days free calls and 1GB 4G data per day.

                          Since this offer was not available for me in the app, I decided to port my number to Jio. To get the porting code, I had to send a text sms to aitel after which they sent me the code.

                          Within 1 hour of getting the porting code, I was contacted by an airtel representative by phone. The person informed me that I will get 90 days free calls and 1GB 4G data per day if I recharged for Rs.399 through the mobile app as this was a new offer given to me to STOP ME FROM PORTING TO JIO.

                          So, I went ahead and recharged my sim for Rs.399 through the same app. However, I did not get the above stated service. I received only 28 days of free calls and 1GB 4G data (which is same as the Rs.349 plan).
                          So, I incurred a loss of Rs.50 and had to use the same airtel sim for another 28 days because they called me and made recharge.

                          I contacted customer care (121) who were very irresponsible. They stated that I was called by the 'Portability Department' and it was not under their scope and that they had NO ACTION REGARDING MY SITUATION.

                          So, after a month or two, I tried to port again. I sent the text sms to airtel requesting for the portability code. The same thing happened.

                          The Portability Department called and said I would get 90 days free calls and 1GB 4G data per day if I recharged for Rs.399 - but this time not through the app or website, but from a recharge shop. The representative repeatedly assured me that this time, I would get the offer they promised.

                          However, the same thing happened again. I received only 28 days of free calls and 1GB 4G data (which is same as the Rs.349 plan). So, I incurred another Rs.50 loss. I once again called the airtel customer care who confirmed that they will not be able to help.

                          So this is how airtel conned me twice by making me pay Rs.399 for the Rs.349 plan. They also made sure that I stayed with their network and did not switch to Jio.

                          I require airtel to provide me the service I was promised. Thanks.

I am business person & my business is depend on phone call & from last 6-7 days lots of time my phone showing no service & my customer is not able to call me. So i am loosing my business. As well as internet speed also very very low & i am not able to open small e mail also.                               I have purchased tv last year in metro shop and with that i got airtel dth with some diacount. Later they have installed dth and they didn”t activated the dth, i have called multiple times for activation they said they will activate it. After some days that number was not exist.

                              After some days i moved to different state, so i didn”t call again for activation. Now i am back. I called customer care and i have sent a mail but the issue is not solved.

                                  I am unable to recharge my prepaid number [protected]. I tried through paytm.. Airtel.in and also retailer. Always getting failed status. Kindly resolve this issue. Kindly resolve this issue as soon as possible. You people are smart network but behaving like bsnl. You should not ignore all these things. Kindly look into the matter as soon as possible. After i recharged 2 frc i. E. Rs.51 and rs.4, i am unable to recharge anymore. So resolve this as soon as possible.

                                    I purchased a vanity number at airtel store. Vanity number cost was rs 2500 but i was given 90% discount. I paid remaining 10% cash on the spot which was rs 250. But when my bill was raised rs 2500 appeared on my bill. When i spoke back to customer representative at the store, he told me that server was down while the vanity number was allotted and will be ractified. It's been now 3 months since this happened. During last 3 months i have visited store on daily basis during my busy hours. I filed a complaint over phone to airtel customer service but there been no help and they reouted to store again. Representatives at the store every day have the same reply. Every day i am told it will be done this evening. I am facing really painful harassments from recovery people as well. I request to wave of[censored]nfair charges of rs 2500 imposed.
