I was an airtel postpaid customer in mumbai for more than 6 years. On transfer to chennai and due to very high charges, i decided to change the service provider. Accordingly i applied for number portability. Immediately i received a call from airtel advising me against doing that and they offered me huge credit in the the form of balance of about 5000 rs. Against my postpaid account. However i went ahead and changed the service provider. To my surprise an astronomical amount of about 7000 has been charged to me showing data usage. I don't know what's going on in airtel. I think this is a serious fraud. I am still not sure how to proceed further.
Airtel customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
After my complaint, I got a response from airtel, that your bill amount is reduced and you make a payment of Rs. 888. What they have done is that they had applied data charges to my account to nullify the credit available against my account.

The surprising thing going is that the airtel team is not ready to send the revised bill to my registered email asking me to make the payment.

Instead they have passed on a link from a private mobile no. which I don't know. Even that link is not taking me to the payments page.

I don't know what trick they are up to.

I was certainly not expecting this from airtel.

Please resolve at the earliest.

    On 22nd oct., i have paid postpaid bill for airtel services of amount rupees 1420/-,
    Through online payment using my sbi debt card, though the amount has been deducted from the bank account but still i've been told that my bill is still due & now my connection has been discontinued.

    Below i'm attaching the bank transaction image of the amount paid to airtel postpaid services on 22nd oct.

      We have taken a prepaid number on 26-10-17 at airtel outlet in khairatabad, near sandhya hotel, opposite global hospital. We were asked to select from a list of numbers after registration through aadhar card and verification, and the same was assigned. As per list the number is : [protected] and the same was written on the sim card cover which was handed over to us.
      The same number was printed on all our office stationery.

      Later it came into notice that the activated number and the assigned number are different and we have not been receiving calls. The activated number is: [protected].

      The change in the number caused lot of inconvenience and loss in our business. Please find attached the photo of sim card cover mentioned with the assigned number.

      We request the concerned authorities to take necessary action against the outlet.

        I ported my number from reliance to airtel and its more than a week. As per message received from airtel that my number will be processed by 6th of november. But till my number is not activated and my reliance number is deactivated. Airtel saying that this is a very repudiated and fastest network company. So this is your company. I am facing problem from last 2 days. My outgoing and incoming are blocked, my number is not ported yet. So please confirm when will you update my request.

        Today is 14th of November, Airtel executive told me that your problem "not able to make Incoming and outgoing calls" will be resolved by 14th of November. but still the problem is same. Its my postpaid number. So this is the service you provided to postpaid customer. Please check Once that how many calls i received from 3rd of November. I think its better to switch to other network who cares about their customers, even idea is providing much much better services than you. So finally i decided to switch to idea network and after using your services from last more than 10 days i never recommend anyone to adopt Airtel network. its the worst network.

        Today is 23rd November and its around 1 month, but the same problem is there. no one can contact me on my number and i am not able to make any call. This is how the Airtel "India's Fastest Network" work. This is my postpaid connection and now bill is generated for the same. Without making any calls re receiving any call on my number i have to pay a bill. I suggest to everyone from Haryana Punjab who are planing to buy airtel 4g, Please dont go for Airetl network otherwise you people will suffer like me. even Idea is much more better than airtel.

        Anyone please suggest if i have to file a RTI Complaint against airtel Network then please tell me the procedure. I have a record of each followup with airtel.

          I order iphone x on nov 3 from airtel online store airtel.in and made the payment.
          It is supposed to be delivered on 7 nov.
          But on 7th november i got a message that the order is cancelled thought i didn't cancel it and in the morning on 7 nov i even got a call from airtel executive as i registered a complaint on [protected]@in. Airtel.com for not recieving any message about dispatching of product and he said that the phone will be delivered to you by 9th november

            Myself surajit chowdhury, +[protected] is my airtel prepaid no.

            Last sunday 05/11/2017, i got a message from airtel service provider (Ak-airtrf) is that rs48=1gb 3g/4g, 21d but after completing the recharge, get a message is 400mb 4g/3g data for 10days has been credited to my account on recharge of rs 48 (Trans id[protected].
            Then after i try to contact with customer care no. 198, but not connected then also send a mail this two id which are registered for complain purpose (Appellate. [protected]@in. Airtel.com,
            Nodalofficer. [protected]@in. Airtel.com) but they cannot reply or contact with me.
            So my request please solve this problem otherwise they can cheated us moretimes.

                I have tried to recharge the phone [protected] on 11th oct 2017 online for an amount of rs 500 and the transaction failed. But the amount was deducted from my hdfc bank account. Kindly reverse the transaction and credit the amount to me asap.

                  My airtel no [protected] using from 14 years.
                  My credit score is highest & excellent 881 out of 900.
                  Am honest taxpayer from last 35+ years.
                  When i tried to buy iphone 7 message flashed was sorry ur loan is not approved.
                  I wanted to know when u can't offer the scheme to the excellent credit score, then this offer is for cheaters defaulters or non tax payers. Or it's sheer blunder played by airtel company with false scheme offer for publicity.

                    I done a recharge by mistake to a different number, i believed that if take it as a request to airtel they would resolve it for, but nothing has been done yet, i lost my money 448 ruppes that i spent by mistake. Recharge was successful so not able refund was the reply i get from your representative who called to inform me.. Thanks airtel, pathetic i will be moving to a different service provider

                      Today am recharged rs 999/... But still it was zero when am checked my balance. 999 offer-local +std+roaming was free, daily 100 sms, 60 gb 3g data for 90 days validity.. This offer is not effectively working my number. Airtel company cheated me.

                        I am airtel dth subscriber, my dth id is [protected].
                        My stb was not working properly for last one month & has stopped working on last saturday. I've logged complaint regarding this. Airtel service engineer came & replaced the stb with new one. He charged me for rs.400 and told that the stb will start working within an hour. But still my stb is not working, then i've logged complaint again. The service engg called me up & asked very rudely "why are you complaining again & again" started misbehaving with me. I told him "bro please you don't be angry, i'll manage it with another engineer. I am really unable to understand that"i am your customer or you are my customer"
                        I am really very frustrated with airtel service.

                          On 26 october i recharged with rs.7.00 my phone no.[protected] from the best offers through airtel account for all calls @.30 per minute for 84 days but i observed that my calls are not being charged as per the advertised rates. So i stopped calling from my this no. Such misleading advertisements be banned.

                            This is with reference to the airtel landline connection no.[protected] and broadband connection with the same number. I informed airtel that i am shifting my house and they need to setup the connection at the new house which is around 0.75 km from the existing house on 24th oct 2017. Then after shifting to the new house, i have been calling them and they say different stories each time: that their technician will fix the line; that it is not possible to give new connection and stay in the old house itself (Very pathetic that they tell to stay in the old house itself for broadband connection), that they have to get permission to get new ports and will fix it within 3 days, etc etc... Many many stories. They when i started calling continuously they escalated the call to the escalation department stating that the line will be fixed 100% sure by 6th nov 2017 and then i called them 6th evening and they said that i will get a call back by same day before 7.30 pm regarding the status. Then again i called today 7th nov 10 am and they said that i will get a call back by 11.30 am today definitely and as usual its a fake promise and i have not received a call back. Its been days i have been calling them to know the exact picture of the complaint and nobody bothers to give me a proper explanation. I have been on call, on hold for more than 20 mins daily which is really embarassing and disturbing. Why cant they call up and let me know the status. Act broadband follows up daily to install new connection from 5rd nov 17, but i am just waiting for a proper reply from airtel. They say they will fix up or call back and they are just dragging the issue. I use airtel landline, broadband, digital tv and postpaid mobile connection from airtel. Cant they do some justice seeing how many times i have called and how many times they have made false promise of call back. They why do they have to have the customer care cell at all if they dont care about customer issues.

                                    4 g network is the worst network and you people call your self fastest network in India. With whose permission you people transferred my lpg subsidy amount to your airtel bank account! Who gave you permission in first place to open an account without my permission.

                                      If you are not the right contact please provide me the contact detail of senior manager of customer services.

                                      I have been associated with airtel since 2005 and so far never had any issues.in the last one month i have undergone lot of pain in getting the right support in having my network issue/ data speed issue fixed at my home location. Everybody who i spoke to starting from customer care, nodal team and airtel network team only gave false assurance and fooled me around. I had raised at least 4 service requests and since 22 oct and even today the issues is not resolved.

                                      To disgust me further, the engineer who visited the site and found the lack of network coverage and confirmed the same to me provides a completely opposite report to his internal teams that there is no issue and today the team calls me saying they found no issue.

                                      Now, i need to understand what is airtel trying to achieve by fooling around its customers who are already paying for teh services and being deprived of it and on top of it airtel closing issues saying there is none.

                                      Airtel nodal team updated they are the last level of escalation and never updated me the status through a call back even once though every time there was a false assurance.

                                      I look forward to you to have my issue resolved at the earliest.
