I am an Airtel prepaid customer from past 8 to 9 years. And I have moved to Germany recently. Now my Airtel network shows no service even after I recharge the number with international roaming pack. The pack shows starts upon arrival in my Airtel app and it's still showing no service. And I am not able to contact customer care team as I have no network. Could you please help me with this?

    Hi,
    I have raised fiber net connection for my home at Ranchi using the Airtel app on the phone by entering the apartment details and contact number. After a few days I had received a call from Vikas Kumar on 15th of April stating he was calling from Airtel Fiber and asked for my home address to check the connection. I had asked him to call after a few days, so he called me again on 20th of April and I had made him the payment for a 3 month plan of 799, so total money I had paid him directly using Phonepe on his mobile number itself . He said that the connection will be installed within 3 days but he is keep saying some server problem initially to register then he said lead id is generated but still come issue at my apartment for installation of wiring and told will take some time but even if I have waited already 2 weeks I do not see any progress and when contacted him WhatsApp, he said he is on leave and come back only on 13th of May 2022 but I asked him for cancellation as I see all these are just some excuses he is making every day, if any connection problem will be there at my home apartment the apartment name only should have not be visible on Airtel app.

    I am not sure if this is a regular practice at Airtel to scam the customers by taking the money upfront but not installing the connection on time. Also I would like to escalate on Vikas Kumar as he is not doing his work properly as I had connected with the Broadband customer team today afternoon and they told me that the profile itself is not created but I had already made the payment.
    I have requested for refund as installation was not even after 3 weeks, I had shared my bank account details as well to "[protected]@airtel.com" already but still they are not ready to initiate the refund process. Why Airtel cannot refund my money ? When I asked for the refund they are asking me to provide a cancelled cheque without which they are denying to refund but why is that ? What if a person do not have a cheque book? Which banking law says that i need to produce a cheque for refund?
    Why Airtel is not refunding the amount to my bank account automatically after providing all the details ? The delay and the poor response from Airtel team is really disappointed and frustrated!

    I am marking this issues been resolved after receiving the refund today afternoon ( 12th May 2022). I had shared my bank statement with Airtel while hiding the irrelevant data. Thanks to Airtel team for looking out to this issue on priority after raising my concerns on here as well as on LinkedIn. I hope Airtel will resolve similar issues with other customers as well.

    I am marking this issues been resolved after receiving the refund today afternoon ( 12th May 2022). Thanks to Airtel for looking out to this issue on priority after raising my concerns on here as well as on LinkedIn. I hope Airtel will resolve similar issues with other customers as well.

      I have travelled through western peripheral expressway kundli toll on 28/03/2022 and the toll charges were deducted on 28/03/2022 as per applicable charges for car no. Pb10et3251. On 31/03/2022 toll charges of rs. 225 again deducted for same kundli toll even when i did not travel through that. I have raised complaint for the same at airtel platform on 11/04/2022 on which they assured me that grievance will be redressed within 15 days. After 15 days i again requested them for grievance redressal and i was again told to wait for 15 days as they have raised a query again. It has been more than a month that unapplicable charges were deducted from my account but i did not get reversal for the same. Kindly look into the matter.

        A request to transfer broadband connection from my wife's is name (Aarti Shrimali ph# [protected]) to my name name ph# [protected] was made on 4th Jan 2022. I had gone to Airtel store for this. But the disconnection was not processed on my wife's account but a new connection was added in my name. The old router was removed and new router was installed in our house immediately. But Airtel kept on charging us for both connections. Finally on 23rd March the de-registered the old connection. But even after multiple follow and store visits Airtel is not refunding the additional amount they charged from 4th Jan to 23rd March for the disconnected (not in use connection). Neither the store manager nor the airtel customer support are sharing details nor refunding the amount they just keep saying we will get back to you.

          3rd May reached bangalore, needed fast net for work from home.
          3rd may sashi([protected]) Airtel salesman promises to install by 4th may.
          4th may he offers that if I take dth box Rs2001, I will get free net for the first month.
          4th may I make the payment Rs2001 and he sent dth person to install dth box.
          Unable to view most channels. Everyday calling customer care, they promise to send technician(never shows up) next day, everyday.
          Broadband connection is not setup even today 9th of May.
          Almost everyday calling customer care, they are giving me dockets id/escalation id everyday. But no one from airtel calls for follow up neither send anyone to install the broadband.
          Customer care refuses to send any written mail regarding installation.
          Airtel promises to install service within 3day but today is 6th day.
          Airtel promises to reply email within 4hours, but days have passed I have sent mail to [protected]@airtel.com but no reply.
          Everyday customer care promises me resolution with 24hours everyday for the past 3-4days.
          Today I called customer care they said your broadband connection request has been cancelled.
          If so, then I think Airtel should be the one to inform, not me calling Airtel.
          So REFUND MY MONEY Rs2001.

              Dear Sir,

              Airtel is asking me to pay monthly bill. However I have already paid my 6 months bill for Rs. 5232.

              They say we have changed your plan to monthly.

              How can they change my plan without informing me ?

              They are changing my plan by themselves and asking me to pay the bill.
              However I have already paid 6 months bill on 11 Feb 2022 of Rs. 5232.

                      I have made wrong recharge so I called airtel to cancel the recharge and refund the amount and they cancelled the recharge but amount of rs 719 not credited to my account.They are saying that they refunded the money on 2 may but it's not credited in my account.

                        I am using Airtel from more than 10yrs. Now i shifted to US on short notice and from here i don't see postpaid SIM is useful, still i need this airtel number active as i have registered this in all places. I need to convert this SIM from postpaid to pre-paid and airtel guys are saying to visit india and get it convert. This is totally harassment . My brother is also visiting airtel office with all documents and still they are not converting. We need some solution online for this on priority.

Order Id:[protected]. If money has been deducted, it will be refunded to your account within 7-10 days. Please keep the Order Id for future

                                  I have been using airtel broadband from April-2021. This is a postpaid service of INR 499+GST.

                                  I asked airtel to close my connection on 30th January, 20222 they asked for various reasons and said that my services will be stopped.
                                  On 28th February, 2022 I got a call from airtel and they mentioned that I can put the connection on hold (Safe custody) for 300+GST for 3 months. The condition was that during the period if I want to reinstate my connection then I will have to pay the usage charges for the days services has been active. I obliged and activated safe custody for 3 months. The safe custody period was from 28th February 2022 to 28th May, 2022. So ideally I should not get any bill apart from safe custody charge for the mentioned duration If I did not ask to resume services.

                                  Now comes the torture. Airtel generated a bill of 500+GST on 3rd march, 2022 for Safe custody (Promise was of 300+GST). I called customer care multiple times and finally they gave me a wave off of some amount and my total bill was 413 (Including GST). Still higher than actual promise.

                                  Coming to 3rd April, 2022, I was given a bill of 500+GST. Again I called Airtel customer care and they waved off 472 Rupees from bill mentioning that the connection was active from 4th March to 2nd April and it was their mistake so bill got generated. Again I had to pay remaining amount (~100 rupees) for no reasons.

                                  Coming to 3rd May I got a bill of 1119.92 rupees. Upon calling customer care they mentioned that on 3rd April I asked to initiate safe custody, so 500+GST is safe custody charges and remaining amount is of connection being active from 3rd April to 2nd May.

                                  Called Airtel customer care multiple times and they mentioned that it is a mistake, but they are not giving me refund. Everytime they are giving same response that they have escalated the issue and it will be resolved in some time. Resolution never happens.

                                  I also asked them multiple times in this duration to close my connection but they are not taking the connection closure request. I am forcefully being charged for the services which I am not using at all.
                                  Airtel customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
                                  Update: I got a response from Airtel that whatever charges they have levied are valid. I asked to give me reason and they are just keep on telling the same thing that charges are valid.

                                  Still no response on my connection closure request.

                                  This is a red flag for everyone taking postpaid connection of Airtel. Don't fall into trap. They will change your connection status and accuse you of making changes in your connection and falsely charge you hefty amount. Please save your money and go for prepaid services.

                                      Hi,

                                      My Airtel xstream fiber broadband hasn’t been working from past 4 days. I raised a Service Request on 3rd May and an engineer was assigned to resolve the issue in 24 hours. The first assigned engineer contacted me and said that since he is not in my area, he won’t work on the issue. After 24 hours, I got an sms that another engineer has been assigned and the issue was supposed to be resolved by 5th May 10am, however no contact or attempt has been made to resolve the issue.
                                      I talked to the Customer services and they assured me that they have escalated the issue on the morning of 4th May, and promised that my issue will be resolved in 24 hours, i.e. by 5th May 3:30pm.
                                      But again no attempt to resolve the issue, and on calling the Customer services again they said they will be escalating it and it will be resolved in next four hours, i.e. by 5th May 8:30pm.
                                      It was another fake promise which they couldn’t keep and it’s been more than 48 hours and on calling the customer service, they keep asking me to be patient and wait for another 4 hours or 24 hours.
                                      I am writing this on 7th May and my issue hasn’t been resolved yet and no contact has been made from the engineer end.

                                      I would request you to either resolve the issue or if you can’t provide the service you promised for then give my the money back.

                                        Customer care support person not responded properly

                                        I had an issue in my payment so that I called to customer care and explained but the customer care person named kouser, she not understand what is my query and simply she answering with improper response. Customer care person should behave politely and should ask the queries clearly and need to support as per their need but this person behaviour is not proper. She connected to manager and manager sorted my issue. Manager can sort the issue...
