I’ve been using airtel 349 4g data pack for a long time now. I’m using iphone 7 plus handset. The moment i turn on the data and use for 30 minutes, the data deduction would be 700 mb out of 1 gb limit i have. Once i turn off the data and after some time if i turn on, and check the balance, it shows the limit is over without any usage. Kindly check and revert

    I got a message today that videopindw service has been activated @ rs 30.0 for 7day (S). Service will be renewed after validity expiry. To use, click http://bit.ly/actvnvp (Data charges apply). To deactivate, call or sms stop to 155223. More services? Call 56789
    I didn't even opt for this then why this has happened to me?
    I deactivated the service sent stop sms to deactivate. But it is sending a revert message that stop is an invalid entry???! I want to ask why do you activate any service without customer acceptance. I want my money back.

    This is actually a scam. I am at Singapore where Airtel is having tie-up with Singtel. I am having my Airtel number but have not opted for roaming and not using the service. But I got the message that videopindw has been activated @INR30/-. To disconnect Cal or SMS STOP to 155223. The moment I call or send SMS to stop the service, they will automatically activate the roaming service and that service is also automatically renewed. It is a cycle. They have already renewed VIDEOPINDW service 3 times. Please assist on what action can I take to expose the scam.

    Even I didn't activate the service..
    What is the use of this in JAVA Nokia X202 set.

    So this videopindw is a problem for a lot. It has been activate in my phone from oct 2017 and I just found out in nov 2018 when I saw my bill in detail when the customer care called me to pay my bill and I asked them for the month split up. That's when I realised they have charging this videopind for so long without me activating it. As of now 1500 has been charged for this. How do we ask them for payback ???

      I gave my samsung galaxy s7 edge phone to airtel and now airtel is not returning my phone my documents were submitted on 22 september and my claim was accepted on 26 september and my phone was taken on 3rd october and since then there is no clue of my phone. Airtel is not as it used to be. Airtel secure 21days promise is the biggest lie. #airtel secure fraud

        I submitted an international roaming and data package activation request for my airtel post paid number on 22nd sep 2017.
        After reaching abroad i realized that only roaming is enabled and not the data pack. Reached airtel customer support for rectification and they promised resolution in 1 hour.in that process the first day passed without data and the grievance i had put also was waste as airtel again failed to resolve my issue. Called airtel customer support second time this time again they fooled me stating it will be done in 15min. However there was no resolution the second time as well.
        Third day i received an email stating my number has some kind of restriction and they were unable to active data pack. Since airtel was unable to resolve the issue for three days and the first two times i was cheated, i was unwilling to take work with airtel for any further resolution.
        I have it in writing to airtel that i am withdrawing my request and they should revoke any charges associated with this. Airtel did not respond this and in the next month bill i see they have charged me for a service that they could not provide and at the same time they put me in extreme discomfort while at a foreign country.

          It says "you have insufficient balance to make an outgoing call". I have recharged with Rs.399/- on 22/10/2017, the offer claimed my all calls will be free with daily 1gb data and it will be valid for 70 days. Today while having a conversation suddenly the call dropped.
          Its so cumbersome to get connected with the customer executive, press that press this and at end you get nothing. Kindly resolve at the earliest.

            I have activated 399 prepaid plan in my mobile no.[protected] but it is not showing the balance and 4g is not working. I have tried many times to change to 4g but it is showing 3g only . Kindly let me the problem. Before recharge i had talked with the customer care on 23rd oct 2017 and after confirmation from her i recharged. Free talking is done but 3g data is used not 4g

              I ported from vodafone to airtel and now my vodafone account is deactivated and airtel is activated. But since it happened at 10 pm, i'm not able to connect to tele verification as the ivrs says the televerification will be happen between 8am to 10 pm only. If this is the case what will happen for my calls at this time? I am working with an mnc and getting calls at night also. But due to this now my number is not reachable and need to wait till tomorrow 8 am to activate my sim. All my important calls are getting missed and even my clients also not able to contact me. This is common for all porting requests? Very bad.

                I visited the airtel store in mahim mumbai (Next to paramount and mearaj hotel) on 18 th october 2017 at around 12.30 pm. I made following two transactions and was cheated by airtel staff in both the cases.

                Transaction nos 1. I purchased a sim nos [protected]at a price of rs 450/- having 84 days unlimited local/std calling and daily 1gb data for 84 days irrespective of 3g/4g hand set as advised by the staff at the store. I made the payment in cash as they were not accepting card payment and they insisited only on cash. I asked for receipt and they refused telling me that airtel don't issue receipts and that you will get sms confirmation of the transaction made. I did not receive any confirmation sms however the sim got activated within two hours with only 2 gb data and not 1 gb data per day as promised. As i am staying in palava i visited the local airtel store here to report the issue. This store informed me that the 1gb per day is applicable only for 4g handset and not 3g handset and he informed me that i was probably misled by the mahim airtel store.

                Transaction nos 2: i made a payment of rs 767 of the amount due for my airtel dongle wifi device sim nos [protected] on same day 18th october 2017 between 12.30 pm and 1.00 pm in cash. I wanted to pay by cash as this was my request for cancellation of this account. But again the staff told me that they don't accept card payment and insisted on cash payment. I made a cash payment and insisted on receipt and again they inform me that airtel does not give receipt and you will receive sms confirmation for transaction. I waited for 5 minutes and did not receive any sms confirmation. The airtel staff told me that they are having some system downtime between 1.00 pm and 400 pm and therefore you will not receive sms until three hours.

                It is almost one week now. Instead of getiing any payment confirmations i am getting reminder calls from aritel to pay the amount due that i already made in transaction nos 2 above.

                As far as transaction nos 1. Is concerned i am fooled by the cunning airtel staff at the airtel mahim mumbai office.

                I am planning to post this complaint to various other social media sites so that other users do not fall prey to fraudulent practices of airtel.

Your representative are highly careless. No-one has bothered to rectify my complaint. Company is only interested to sale new connections. Though existing customers may go to hell.                         Today my husband got a call from Airtel secure that my complaint has been closed and not comes under claim coverage due to improper handling. I went through your secure policy on your site (airtel.in/airtel-secure-terms) where physical damage due to drop is under coverage as per policy point 2.4. I am attaching policy in this page for your reference please go through it.

                        Since last week every alternate day me and my husband submitting documents, every time it says incomplete documents and today your insurance team had closed it with improper reason.
                        It was accidentally dropped ( where somebody pushed him from behind) and got damaged. If it is not under coverage then why physical damage due to drop mentioned in your policy and why you people make fake advertisement? Also you should elaborate "KIND OF DROP" comes under covagrage in your policy. Kindly re-raise this claim and give me a proper reason or make your policies more clear to understand.

                          I have recharged 399/- plan on 17th october. According to the plan, i should get 250 mins free every day, but for each call in a minute there is balance deduction of 1.50 rs./min. I called three times in customer care. They said from next day the plan will be working, but still, i am paying from main balance for each call.

                          I am not at all happy with the fake promise given from support team. Let me know if you guys can help me out else allow me to take further action.

                            Hi team,

                            I am pradeep koney. I use two airtel postpaid mobile numbers ([protected], [protected]) and they both were linked under my family (Till last week).

                            My billing cycle is from 11th of previous month to 10th of current month and the bill date will be 12th of current month. Every month i used to receive bill 14/15/16th of that month.

                            This month i haven't received the bill yet for bill period of 11th september to 10th october.

                            I checked my mailbox thoroughly including spam and even checked in my airtel app.

                            Due amount is shown in my airtel app and due date as 30th october, but i am unable to access the bill.

                            I have contacted customer care regarding the same and i didn't receive any satisfactory response.

                            I have already got the port number which is still active and i had spoken to relationship team on the same. As per their advice i am giving a second chance for a month.

                            1st call on 18th october :

                            Customer care representative told that i will receive the bill in next 30 minutes. I ended up checking my mail for the whole day. She advised me that i can sms to 121 to get the bill and i tried the same multiple times. Please find the below automated mail from airtel.

                            "ebill for oct is currently unavailable for your airtel mobile. To get paper bill, email us at [protected]@in. Airtel.com"

                            2nd call on 22nd october :

                            I had to explain the whole issue again, customer care representative told that there is some technical issue and i will be receiving the bill in next 72 hours and asked me to please wait for the same.

                            When i asked to raise a case and give me a reference number to follow up, she told that case cannot be raised for this as this is already being checked and ensured that i will receive my bill in next 72 hours.

                            I have requested for a call back from relationship team during this call to discuss regarding my plan change, and she told that the same will be arranged by eod. I didn't receive any call as such till date.

                            3rd call today (25th october 2017) :

                            I had to explain the whole issue again, customer care representative told that there is some technical issue and i will be receiving the bill in next 8-10 days and asked me to please wait for the same.

                            When i asked to raise a case and give me a reference number to follow up, she told that case cannot be raised as the system doesn't have a template/doesn't allow to take case relevant to bill generation.

                            I am not at all satisfied with the explanation provided to me on this issue.

                            My credit limit is 1000 (For each number) and i am not willing to increase the same as i won't be able to spend more than that on my mobile bill. The current due amount is 1075.79 and i am willing to pay the same once i have seen the bill and validated it.

                            Please answer few of my questions below.

                            1) as bill is not generated yet, will the bill come with latest bill date on which it is generated?

                            2) if it comes with an old bill date, i will not be able to claim the communcation expenses from my organization as the date is old. Who will be paying for the loss?

                            3) will there be a change in due date, as i was not getting the usual 15 days to validate my bill?

                            4) what exactly is the technical issue with my bill generation?

                            5) please provide me a valid reason to stay back with airtel.

And i called lots of time but he is not replied. This employee all the time try to fool me and i sent lots of msg but he is not replied. I am help less.                                 Hi airtel team, i had opted for a family plan on 12 oct 2017. I am postpaid customer and wanted to add my daughter in the plan. She was given a sim which was told will be activated after 48 hours... And today is 25 th oct. Almost 13 days. I think airtel is doing pathetic service to the customers. One executive ruban came and gave big lecture. I kept calling him, he wasn't mature enough to answer my calls. If this is the case... I will port back to vodafone. I had paid 300 too.

                                Please cancel my family plan. Airtel doesn't have any proper customer care no's to be contacted.

                                I will definitely go for vodofone post paid plan for my daughter. Its not worth the wait.

                                Please ask your executives to promise something to customers which they never keep.

                                  I was given sim [protected] by company bank of baroda. I had given this number to all, therefore i requested the company to allow the number to be used and transfer this number to me (Suresh patankar). Although i was not using this number much i was getting big bill. I therefore visited your centre at mansarovar jaipur. They informed me that you change the sim from 3g to 4g and i shall have 2 gb free and bill shall not be much. Though i was not using this number, still the bill is around rs 1000. I therefore obtained jio sim and is using that.
                                  Thereafter, i requested for change of plan, that is not done. I requested for changing the number in my name. I submitted letters from bank, still it is not done. Post retirement i am consulting faculty at manipal universiry bagru. I leave home at 8 am and reach back by 7.15 pm. Kindly advise me the process to change the service provider as i have been harassed a lot. I paid at least five visits. Now i shall be approaching consumer forum and trai with all bills and usage and the way i have been treated. Kindly advise for changing service provider as this number is required to be changed and the process will take some more time.

                                    I brought a new honor 6x phone from amazon which had an offer for 15gb airtel data for phone purchase. I download the airtel app and claimed but the data is not reflecting on my account. Also i'm in a plan off 455rs 70gb data uk call to all networks.

                                        I have ported my bank number to airtel. And i got the new airtel sim. Moreover, i was supposed to call 59059 once i saw network in the airtel sim and my old sim stopped showing network. But once i called 59059 after i got the network in the airtel sim. It goes on about some services and my number isn't getting activated. Now at this precise moment i have lost network in my old sim which is my number for all official work, which i can't do anymore because it has lost network and the new sim isn't getting activated.
                                        Furthermore, i tried contacting airtel customer care. It is by far one of the most useless and redundant conversation a person can have with a customer care provider.in what world does a customer care service say "contact the bsnl customer care, we can't help you." it would have been better if i just stuck with my old bsnl sim instead of changing to airtel. Atleast they wouldn't refer me to another customer care. (When and if they do pick up their phone)
