I am an airtel customer ([protected]) for almost 8 years now with basic 3g services. Recently, the company started upgrading their services to 4g and since then they are forcing every customer to switch to 4g. They say the upgrading is optional but at the same time they are saying that the basic service of the sim will be stopped if not upgraded to 4g. I don't want to upgrade this number to any so called superior network. This number of mine is linked with every government and banking organisations and stopping service of this number will bring a lot of trouble to me. Your kind attention towards this problem and a solution for it will be highly appreciated.

    My mobile number: [protected]. I have got new airtel postpaid connection with 499 plan 5 days back. Still 4g services are not activated yet. No proper customer service. Very pathetic. Don't believe the false fastest network advertisement.

    I have raised an service request 4 days back. But still it is in open. Very worst service i have ever faced. Decided to go to other network. But they said it is not possible before 90 days. What the # is it?

    So i have decided to file a complaint in consumer court, chennai.

      I am surendra dash bearing airtel fixed line number i have already paid the installation charges of rupees 500 but due to some technical error my connection was not possible and they disconnected the service. Now i am deserve to get my refund of 500 rupees where i am not getting, they are playing with me. Inspite of my repeated warnings they keep on playing so please help me with to get the total amount paid by me.

        I have been informed by airtel messages service on[protected] that in my contact no[protected] special value added service is active. So i immediately made messages to 1552230 to stop all the value added sevices so many times. Atfer one hour reply received that there is no active value added service on this airtel mobile number. But it gave me shock that message charges of rs 473/- was charged in my august-september 2017 bill by airtel company. It is totally wrong. So i made request to remove this messages charges and send revised bill to 121 airtel customer care. But the reply received is as this "" dear nileshkumar sangani,

        This is in reference to your email seeking clarification on rental charged in the bill dated 18/09/2017 for your airtel mobile number [protected].

          Madam/sir,

          I wish to submit a complaint against airtel for unauthorised disruption of service on my no. [protected].

          I have submitted a request for the conversion of my no. [protected] from postpaid to prepaid on 08/10/2017 at the airtel store in mantri square mall, bengaluru. On clearing all the unbilled amount, they deactivated my postpaid sim on 09/10/2017 itself. But they didn't activate my prepaid sim. Hence i was not in a posttion to make/receive any calls or sms. I missed many important official/personal calls. I was not able to do any online banking transactions. To sum up i really suffered a lot.

          I raised many complaints through the customer/ care, but was of no use. Even i escalated the complaint to their appellate authority. Still no resolution happened. Then i registered a complaint with national consumer helpline portal (Ref : 464140). After that i got my sim activated, after 4 days and incoming service got restored. But still my outgoing call/sms facilities are not working.

          The response from appellate authority is of no use and i hope there are not doing enough to get the issue resolved. Now it has been 6 days since the disrupted the service to my number without any reason. Hweversnotingttel store, mantri square mall, bangalore and customer care team lot many times. Still no resolution happened.

          To add, when i rang the appellate authority, karnataka mobile number displayed in trai website it's going to hyderabad. When i questioned the executive's reply was to ask trai to put the correct number. The landphone number is for fixed landline and postpaid only. I hope airtel's attitude for complaint resolution is clear with this. So i humbly request for your kind intervention to ensure the resolution of my complaint.

            I was using the network of another company and got portability to airtel hoping for a better network. Apart from it, i also got my number from 3g to a 4g connectivity hoping the results would improve. But airtel network is the worst a person could experience. Leave the talks of 4g, i don't even get 2g connectivity 😌. Above it no matter how many times u get a complaint registered there's no change. Worst worst worst... They loot the money in name of 4g data as the data for the month is hardly used up to the full content... The moral standards are getting down and the only reply u get on customer care is that the complaint shall be resolved in bla bla bla days...

                I am getting a message like "thanks for using crazy racer game. You have been charged for rs 10 from your airtel mobile account". This amount is getting deducted from every week and from last one year.. I am using basic phone and never activated these kind of services as my phone is not for these games. I want all my money back which was deducted due to this and want this deactivated right now. Please check the records and do it asap. Else i will move to other service providers. I am never able to connect to customer care. The call gets cut before starting.

                  This Airtel is manipulating data details. I was supposed to get 1GB per day. The data balance shows I get 1 gb per day. Seems fine but do I really get 1gb? No these data providers are manipulating the data details. My device shows total data usage for today is 492 mb but my data balance shows that I have already used 880 mb of data. How is this possible. This is a very big data scam going on. Every body is obsessed with data usage they don't really know the truth. Please concerned officials look into the matter as soon as possible. I know this complaint is probably never gonna be read by anyone. But if anybody is reading plz this is a serious case. At this rate they have already made millions with this scam.

                    I am facing network problem from 2 days and when tried to call them in this regards there response is. They can't do anything for me though i am old and trusted customer.

                    They supposed to stop claiming open networks etc.. When i can't get better network in city.

                    I have dropped an email and post on there sites but no response..

                    Airtel charges are high but service is more than can worst

                    If is there negative rating option to select for them.. I would have given them.

                    Fadeup with airtel, i feel jio is far better then airtel. Since jio is new but in terms of network, services and plans are too good

                      Promised to provide 4g speed network but internet is worst than 2g sometimes there will be no network . Worst network ever used going to port it as soon as possible. Giving fraud plans of 399 for 84 days 1gb/day but speed is in kbs so how can we use 1 GB in 1 one day. Great plan to fraud your customers.

                        Hi,

                        I became airtel customer in the month of may 2017. I am supposed to get 700 local and 240 std minutes free as per my package.

                        In all the bills since inception they add an additional charge of approximately rs 1/- every month. I have called them almost every month to make the correction but they repeat the same act of stealing from me again and again. They do not even provide a complaint number when asked about this.

                        I have two mobile numbers and both has the same problem.

                        I request you to kindly help me stop airtel from generating forged bills and provide me with the corect bills going forward.

                          I have rs 800 in airtel main account balance for recharging my parents number, which i have recharged on aug'17 for about rs1500 and used for recharging my parents no. For about 600 from then i was not using that for a while suddenly one night all of my main account balance was went to zero because of data got activated that to 211 mb (For 211 mb i was looted rs 860) customer care lady who took call spoke 12th oct 10.30pm spoke rudely and irresponsible and transferred the call made me to wait for 10 min on the phone and not even she listened and other gu said that he was the senior team and said not possible to refund the same and i asked for any legal team to speak regarding the issue, said there is no one and he hung up and del;iberately he cut the call... No buddy will use 860 for 211 mb for night, i was not all using the phone at all. Can i get any solutions for my problem...

                                My airtel cell no. [protected]. My canara bank saving a'/c. No.[protected] rengaraj n. Amount debited fortopup for 150/- vide a/c of atom tech ltd has been credited (Imps ref no.[protected] on 10/10/2017 at 23:21and further amount debited for topup for 10/- vide a/c of atom tech ltd has been credited (Imps ref no.[protected] on 11/10/2017 at 01:15. Above both topup transaction were successful. But amount not yet credited in my cell balance. For above, reported to airtel through email and also they registed case on 11 oct. 2017 at 11:45 and gave ref. No. Conrc[protected], such reference informing me as no record found. I request you to do the needful.

                                  Claim has been rejected stating that one cannot kept mobile phone on corner table as few call missed due to mobile phone being on silent mode due to movement caused by vibration of the mobile.
                                  Upon asking the reason rm said that corner table was not the right place to keep mobile because it has been kept above ground level. Really?
                                  Who kept the mobile on ground.
                                  And it cause due to carelessness because i was sleeping at late night how can one expect that i would have been handling the mobile.
                                  Despite of saying that i am not satisfied with the reason you are providing he keep saying sorry to let you know.
                                  Please be informed that i have been airtel customer from around 8 years and switched to airtel secure plan after my previous insurance expire because i was expecting the same kind of quality will be provided on this front and i am really very disappointed with that and want to raise this concern to greviance cell and of they will not able to help i will raise the same to consumer cell.
                                  Hopefully this will help as i cannot see any of the thing mentioned in the terms and condition like this because accident is accident whether its happened on road or due to to carelessness.

As i required to fill my scholarship form but when i enter my adhar no. The comments comes that mobile no. Is not verified plzz get to me asa quickly as possible as it is very urgent and last date have also gone to fill the form or else i have to pay full fees which is not in my budget plzz help me

                                      On 10 sep17, an amt of rs 148 was by mistake twice transferred to airtel from my sbi ac no [protected] vide uh 20735749 n 20735581. Benefit of rs 148 was instantly given. The matter was discussed with customer care who assured that the benefit of second rs 148/- will be provided after expiry of previous 148/-. The benefit was supposed to be provided on 7 th oct which was not given. On my contact to cc, it's told that no second amt of rs 148 was received on 10 sep. Sbi clearly states the transfer n both the amts are debited from my ac. Pl justify the refusal by the airtel.

                                        Before 15days applied for my number conversion from postpqid yo prepaid. Though all docs provided, airtel officers giving false commitments of dates. Complained airtel nodal team. They are just giving false commitments. Worst service provided by airtel.
