I have ported my two numbers from vodafone to airtel, which is my very big blunder i have done in my entire life. Both the numbers got ported to airtel on 03/10/2017 at 10 30 pm, later i don't have signal for nearly 2 hours in both vodafone and airtel, at 12 :30 am i got signal but i was unable to connect to any number, i tried reaching customer services people, their response is very pathetic. No one in there is ready to help, some how fortunately or unfortunately i was able to make calls. But unable to receive calls on both the numbers and no internet, it is showing as 4g+ and at the same time it is showing as "no internet connection" i dailed customer services again on 04/10/17 they said that my sim belongs to karnataka circle and asked me to reach airtel store, i went to store today (05/10/17), store people said the tele verification was not done, when i dailed that number it is taking me to callertune ivr, even store people were not sure about the issue... If i don't complete my tele verification with in the given time my both the sims get inactive. I am fed up of airtel and their services with in two days of time... I would suggest not to choose airtel.. I had very good impression on airtel then vodafone.. Now i feel vodafone is far better than the airtel.

    I got airtel landline/broadband connection during end of august 2017. The connection was given after delay of nearly 21 days despite accepting the request by your marketing representative.

    Neither landline was working nor internet was available for the entire month of september 2017 and got resolved only recently about a week back after escalating the issue continuously

    But i have received your bill for rs.1187 which i have not paid. I should not be charged for the months on account of non-availability of service during september 2017

      Recharge done on[protected]:45am, mrp:rs399.00, gst 18% payable by company/distributor/retailer:rs60.86, transid59391396.

      I recharged from the airtel app. It showed me a validity of 70days for the 399 plan.
      After i purchased it is now showing a validity of 28 days.

      Rs399=unlimited loc+std all calls and 1gb/day 3g/4g data+ 100 l+s sms; validity - 28 days. T&c apply.

      I am attaching a screenshot where the app is showing it in my offers, 399 plan with 70days validity.

        temporary suspension of my sim

        My airtel sim was inactive for 2-3 months. After which the sim was temporarily suspended. After bringing this matter to customer care, they advised me to visit nearest service centre. The service centre provided me with duplicate sim card, after taking my documents. The sim card isn't working again (Temporarily suspended). Please look upon this matter.         I have complaint about miscommintments and manupulation about bill charges often... I had last bill i remember was 1050 then my sim was deactivated by company then certainly my bill was 1800 and one of the airtel excutive contact me on watsap telling that i have to pay 1280 as settlement bill and then i do not have to pay any extra charges rather thaan 350 that is my bill plan... But after 4 or 5 days my bill was generated 1335 that including 790 bill of one month... I mean really... How its possible... So i request for port from airtel then one of airtel person called me and told me for wait for some other sir"s call and he will setteled down this matter but still i had not get any call and my both the complaint status is shown cosed in my airrtel app

        once i had paid 1280 as requested the airtel excutive and after 4 or 5 days new bill of 1335 is generated even the i had already paid 1280 then they are keep telling that i had subscribed some valu added services which i had never subscribed...

          Hi airtel team,
          I am facing an issue with my mobile internet since the past 4 days. The problem is i am having strong signal strength and 3g/4g connectivity, but i am receiving the internet at 2g speed. I had registered a complaint (No:[protected]. They told me to swap the sim. I swapped the sim card, but the problem is still occuring. I have been calling the customer care and they keep telling that the request is pending and it will take some time to resolve. I also tried the sim card on different handsets and it has the same problem. Hence, neither the sim card nor the handset which i use has a problem. I do not know why this problem is occuring only with my sim card since the past 4 days. The customer care service are not even understanding my problem. They start speaking their own thing and do not help much with the issue.

          Please resolve this as soon as possible since i am leaving for a vacation and i need internet at 3g/4g speed.

            I was using vodafone postpaid and got a call from airtel postpaid dealer from one of the bangalore branch/agency offering the following things on 499 family infinity plan:-

            1) advanced amount of rs 150 (Which i have paid already) will be refunded in my first bill while applying for mnp new connection
            2) lifetime airtel tv subscription
            3) free lifetime mobile insurance
            4) lifetime 25 gb data per month (Now i have got this only for 3 months)
            5) lifetime 100rs rental value discount

            I haven't received these as promised (Except point no 4 partially). Now these guys are not responding to our queries. I have the conversation recorded in my phone and can share the same if required.

            I got the call from the below given numbers (All i know is that these guys are from an airtel dealership in bangalore, they are not revealing their agency name when asked for)

              It has been observed that airtel has unethically opened bank account while linking adhar card number with airtel mobile number. This bank account has been opened without consumers permission stating this as a promotional offer. I really would like to know how this bank account was opened only on the basis of adharcard with no other documents

              My gas subsidy is getting deposited in airtel bank after linkage of adharcard. Now when i tried to close this airtel account they are asking me to submit my thumb impression. I am not going to provide any thumb impression as it may be misused for some other purpose. My airtel bank account should not have been opened in first place without any documentation. This was a blunder from your side and we should not be affected because of this issue

              When my dad approached airtel gallery with this issue he was given vague answers by attendant. He was very very rude and should be taught a lesson as to how to handle customers. My dad is senior citizen and he was saddened by the impolite and ill-mannered behavior by attendant named akash singh (Mobile:[protected]) who sits @ kalyan west shop-6 opposite reservation center gallery. I talked to him over phone but it seems he doesn't even concerned about being complained. He asked me to go ahead and complain stating nothing would happen to him. It it really the way airtel handles its customers. I am going to file a lawsuit against airtel if no action is taken by airtel about this. Request you to provide me escalation matrix for escalating this issue to higher authority of airtel and i request you to take strict actions against that guy akash singh (Mobile:[protected]). This is really not expected out of a telecom giant named airtel. I am hoping for your positive actions from airtel.

                Sir i made a recharge of rs.899/- for unlimited call including roaming and 2.5gb data from airtel for 84 days on 30.08.17. Everything was fine till few days ago. Now even though i have net balance (Entitled for 2.5gb per day) i am being charged for using internet from my main balance for the last few days.
                I am told by the customer care that i am not using a 4g sim. Then how i was using the same sim before few days and availing full offer.

                  Executives at airtel store in jaistambh chowk, raipur have no manners. I just asked for linking mu aadhar number to my airtel number and the lady at the counter asked if i could please cut my thumb and give it to her since the timings are over right now. She could have replied to me generously. A customer visiting a store from 15kms will never expect such detrimental replies that degrade the brand airtel.

                    Dear airtel,

                    I have been using airtel for almost 6-8 years. However, this is the most horrible treatment i have received till date. Let me mention the sequence of incidents below:

                    I noticed my bill amount was exceeding my usual amount since april 2017.in april 2017, i changed my plan. However, some data top up was added in that plan without my consent and that value was rs.250 plus taxes per month.

                    I spoke with a nearby centre (Karve road airtel store, pune) to change this plan, however, it never happened from their end. I wanted to settle the issue of this additional charges and then pay the bill. However, the bills kept on stacking and my number was disabled sometime towards the mid of august.

                    I walked into the same airtel store on 9th sept. Explained them the situation. They advised to pay an amount of rs.1500/- and assured that my number will be activated in 4 hours. I did the same. The number was activated.

                    However, again after a few days, my number again disabled. I gave a call to customer care and spoke with a representative named khushi. She apologised for the inconvenience and understood my concern. We spoke on 21st september and she had communicated the below over phone:

                    1) she has raised a concern on this number for the wave off.

                    2) she committed to wave off rs.1713/- which was the sum of top-up amount plus taxes incurred on the same.

                    3) she requested me to wait till monday, 25th sept. So that the bill is revised and my outstanding is re-calculated in the system. After the deduction of the committed amount, the dues were rounding up to rs.500/- which should have been reflected in the system by monday.

                    4) i agreed to wait till monday.

                    On friday, 22nd september, an official from airtel arrived at our home in satara with a legal notice. His name was mr. Dixit. Worried my brother-in-law called me. Mr. Dixit said please pay a sum of rs.800/- immediately and your number will be activated within half an hour. I explained him my conversation with khushi, however, he insisted i should pay that amount. And so i paid the amount through online payment. (Screenshot attached)

                    My phone was again activated and i was waiting for the communication from airtel for the wave off of top-up amount plus taxes.

                    To my surprise, my phone is again disabled. Now my outstanding shown is rs.1431/-. I immediately called up the customer care. No-one has looked into this complaint seriously, in fact all your officials and call centre managers spoke to me to pay this amount of rs.1431/- so that my phone will be activated and they can resolve my query. Which i have refused, as i fail to understand why i should trust your call centre executives as what they commit is never done.

                    Can anyone please look into this case and share an email with me that clarifies this disconnect between your stores - on ground team - call centre and billing department???

                    This is definitely a turn off for me. I want to speak with someone who can take account of this situation and help me activate my phone.

                      This person who is using [protected] making me call again and again and sending vulgar and abusive sms to my number. I just wants to stop any call or sms from his number on urgent basis. I am seriously frustrated by his nonsense calls and sms. Please help me by blocking this number.                         I secured my phone with airtel secure.in a recent incident due to a speeding car passing by, my phone slipped out of my hands as i was trying to save myself and get away from the car. Yesterday, i got a call from airtel secure team stating my claim has been rejected as it is "improper handling of the device". Only the screen of my phone got broken, else it looks as a new phone.
                        And in-spite of a long conversation with the customer relationship officer (Mukesh) and he stating that a call back from a supervisor shall be arranged, i have received no further updates on this. And their supervisors are never free. My call was not transferred to someone senior. Customer relationship officer are of supervisor level in airtel as stated by mukesh.

                        The customer relationship officer tried to emphasize that my life is less important and since i was saving myself and my legs, therefore it was negligence and improper handling of the device. I asked him repeatedly what is the meaning of improper handling, he said it is as stated in the t&cs.

                        I asked him to which id can i write regarding my concern, he didnt even provide that. He mentioned that i will get a mail from airtel secure regarding claim rejection.

                        Amazing!!

                        What airtel is trying to do through airtel secure is simply fooling customers.
                        I am a corporate customer and this comes as a bigger shock, cause they anyways don't tend to personal connections properly.

                        This surely requires a check from airtel's side before i look for alternate options against their plans.

                        Today I see that I have been unsubscribed from the Airtel Secure services. It is asking for Subscription.
                        Such big time ### Airtel people are.
                        So, if the customer is not aware of the changes which they have not made, they wont have any evidence for the claim and related stuff.

                            I had taken airtel secure insurance for phone for damaged and theft protection


                            My phone had fallen down from my pocket & one side edge of the screen got cracked but phone was in working condition. I had raised the request for insurance coverage. Airtel team had taken my phone for repair and while retuning back they damaged the phone beyond the actual condition (Back side glass was returned in broken condition & front screen display also stopped working). None of the airtel representative are responding for my mails and calls, even including the head of karnataka circle mr. Gopal vittal.
                            I have been following up since 1 month circulating the mails and post in social media but i am given only false promises and buying extended time.

                            My phone samsung galaxy s8 plus is worth 65 k, which i had bought for official purpose.
                            I urge the consumer forum to address my concern and give proper justice to my claim and the effort i have put across in claiming damage charges.

                              1. I have prepaid for unlimited talk and 2gb data on september 28th, rs 309 till october 27.

                              2. Airtel has cut off my service on the pretext of no funds on account. What the heck are they doing with the prepaid amount!!!

                              3. I have urgent work. I cannot make calls. I have to leave for the us in a few days but first work has to be done.

                              4. Even my call to local airtel number is not operable on the basis of 'no funds on account'.

                              5. I was able to make local landline as well as local and std cell calls last month. Why is it a problem this month?

                              6. The local airtel kiosk in east marredpalli is very badly serviced. I cannot understand the language of the staff, either english or telugu. They are rude. There are 4 staff who just sit there on the occasions i have visited them and they are not very helpful. I have frustration and anger at your service.

                              7. I would like you to address all my problems immediately or else make full refund of the rs 309 and i will use another phone service.

                                My name is sobin sebastian. I took a broband connection in 2015 nov. While taking broadband connection they charged rs. 1000 as security deposit in advance. From that date to till now i regulary paid my all bill amount. Now i asked them to disconnect my airtel connection.in this time they are saying that 1000 rs. Cannot be refunded. The reason they are saying that its not recoreded in their records. If you look my attachment you can understand that they will make so many accounting error in my staement.

                                I hope you will take an appropriate action for this. I attached here to my relevent documents and their mail replies.

                                    I have been wrongly charged for broadband bill for month of september t. As it is visible in one of screenshots attached that i have tried to make payments many times online through my debit card but due to some issue with the site my payments was not processed. I had called regarding the same to customer care no. [protected] and spoken to customer care executive for the same and the executive confirmed there has been issue with the site and to try again later.
                                    Later in the month of august my network was barred i requested on call to customer service executive to put my account on hold as i was travelling and would not be using services for a month and clear payment with cash when i return which i was told is not possible and was wrongly informed. I have called customer care several times for resolution that i would pay all the amount till month of august excluding september but they could not resolve this and demand me to make full payment.
                                    I have been using airtel for more than 10 years and i have come across this problem several times of miscommunication of information and customer not being properly informed such as data plans being changed and wrongly charged but as these complaints are usually resolved by the company i am still using the connection. This time the complain has not been resolved easily which forces me to discontinue with the services.
