I requested to port my airtel number[protected] and got a call from airtel customer care number [protected] and i had talk with an executive named seema who asked me why i was shifting. After i told her why i was shifting she told me they will provide the same offer i. E. Rs. 399 70 days offer and sent me a message and asked me to get recharge done from a retailer who had a demo sim. I got my recharge done from a retailer with a demo sim and paid 399 inr. After that i got confirmation with transid[protected]. After that the message i got was ' "100 sms 1 gb/day, local std all call free for 28 days, t&c"check balance/tariff, dial*121# ; for best recharges, give missed call at 505 (Toll free) '. This is clearly fraud that they commit on unsuspecting costumers. This company is cheating customers, trying to compete with jio with fake offers. When i try to call customer care, i just get automated replies and can't even reach customer care executive. What should i do? Is there any action that can be taken against such fraudelent activities where they try to fleece the customers?
