I got a call from the customer care executive of Airtel company on 13-05-17 at 10Am regarding porting of sim. I Agreed for porting my sim from Vodafone to Airtel right then because the executive told me that I won't need to go to the store for it. The sim will be delivered to my address. He asked me to message my details on this number-[protected] which I immediately did. After some time I received a call from this number-[protected] which was from the person who came to deliver me the new Airtel sim. He took ₹100 from me. After some time I realised that it was a postpaid sim while I had asked for a prepaid sim from them. I immediately called Them back but there was no response. None of those people received my call and when I called them from one another number, they received it then. He told me to go to an Airtel store and tell them my problem. He also said that I will not have to give them any more amount as I had already given it to him(the delivery guy) . But the employee there told me that they were not responsible for that money and they will charge me ₹130 for a new prepaid sim. I even tried calling that person again from the landline number of that store. He received it but as soon as I told him to repay my 100 bucks he cut my call and did not receive my call again. He even put my number in the reject list of his phone .
I am totally disappointed from this kind of service from such a reputed company. The executive from store clearly refused to return me my ₹100 as according to him it was not his responsibility that I paid it to the delivery man of Airtel.
I had to pay double amount just because I rusted the guy who called me and said that he was an Airtel company customer care executive. And as both the caller and the delivery man are not receiving my call, I am really angry and frustrated with this type of frauds that has been done with me. And the fact that this was from such a big company like Airtel is really annoying and unexpected.
I want my ₹100, charged by the delivery man, back as soon as possible
