Dear sir / madam,

I had given one request to airtel executive for porting my number [protected] from idea to airtel (In the name of hem dev thapar) and also i had paid rs. 300/- for a new connection mobile number is [protected] sim number is h[protected]u (In the name of vedashree deshmukh. Both the transactions were done on 18th feb 2017.
Against payment of rs. 300/- i had asked for receipt and got the receipt no mhpd032140.

My concern is that till date the verification of the new number is not completed from your side and the number is still not workable.

I think that i may not be taking the right decision of porting my number from idea to airtel, because of this service is from your side before starting the new connection what should we expect as after sales service from your side.

Please see if i'll not get positive response from your side by today i'll cancel my request of porting my number and also i may have to get the new number from idea only.

Your immediate action in this regard will be highly appreciated.

    Hi there,

    I have taken a number [protected], with the rental plan 999 in the month of October (15/10/16). The rental plan as told to me by the agent, with free unlimited local + STD calls, and addtionally of 7GB free data. My data pack got ended by 21st and I have requested for an additional 10GB pack in the price of 1000. Before first month ending I have called up to the customer care ans enquired about it and the have told me the additional pack will not be renewed in the next bill cycle. After the first month the bill came of INR 3200+. I called up the customer care and asked them how come the bill could amounting this! he started reading the bill. I also know how to read English!!I asked them a clarrification of thew bill and asked their re[presentative to call me up. There was no show despite the promise of being called within 24 Hrs. I asked the recent bill details as well, and the fellow told me that additional 1000 RS data, which I had bought in the last day, was not deactivated, as it is not a auto deactivated one (First contary from the customer care!) and second of all, the free 7GB internet which one was included in the plan, has been vanished. The reperesentative has told me that out of 50 buckets, I have only 44 filled and the rest are remianed empty.

    I have asked several times for the airtel representative to call me, but there is only third party vendor call, who just read the bill for me! I asked the clarrification and there was nothing! Repeated ly for two months I have asked the airtel representative to call me, but there was no show.

    The number got deactivcated in the month of December citing the non payment of the account and they barred everything. But, the rental was on its own go!In the month of January one lady called me and asked wheteher I am still using the number. I told NO. She asked me when the payment will be done of INR9000+ (!!!). I got surprised, the provider has barred the service, I am not getting anything, then why the hell I should pay rental! For not using the number? Everyday I am recieving a call regarding this and asking when the payment will happen!.

    Please provide a proper understanding of the bill and the tell me why I should not be entitled for 10+7 GB of the internet pack! Where is the unfilled bucket goes?and why I should pay 999 rental still, when I am paying 1000 for 10GB! Again why I should drop a rental for not using the number since from november!

    I am using a regular connection of VF and the billing is crystalk clear. However I am using a dongle number of Airtel as well, and never faced any problem.

    What happend for this number and why should I pay this amount. Settle the problem ASAP.

      So i have a refund pending of amount 87 and even after complaints, they are not doing anything. I tried calling 400 but no luck there as there no option for customer service. I sent emails which they said will reply in 2 days and its a week and nothing. The complaint numbers are 295192. Transaction details

        Hi,
        I have been using the same mobile number more 4 years. I was relocated Bangalore to Chennai unable to do NMNP so I converted to postpaid connection. They took around 60days the process and I submitted the Address verification 3 times then I got postpaid connection then I used postpaid connection around 8 Months. I paid all the pending payment for postpaid connection.
        I requested postpaid to prepaid conversion request Airtel outlet show room Chennai month of Jan but still my number not yet converted to prepaid connection. RECHARGE IS NOT HAPPENING. I called many time to customer care through the other airtel number. The customer care executive told with 48 hours. They were saying stories all the times. I went the airtel outlet in Velachery. THE WORST AIRTEL OUTLET ON CHENNAI. I can’t reach customer care 121 or 198.
        WORST!
        Even I tried to reach the Airtel appellate authority Chennai .
        I expect my prepaid conversion issue should resolve.

          On 10th jan and 11th jan 2017 i made 3 (three) recharges of Rs 497/- each for my prepaid airtel number [protected] Data benefit through MyAirtel app using my SBI debit card. However the transaction was Failed and i didnt get the Data benefit whereas my money was deducted from my mentioned SBI account. i have made several calls to Airtel help line and was assured that i ll get the refund but it is almost 2 months where i still get get the refund.

Why are you sending me Computer generated messages. yes i did recieved a call from one of the representatives which i have recorded the phone conversation but she could NOT help with fixing my problem and she said she'll call me after more consulting and now my issue is still not being rectified. It has been shown on the website that 3.5GB 3G/4G data will be provided for 28 days on recharge of Rs 448. But i get only 2GB data after recharge. My account data balance should be upgraded with 3.5GB data but airtel has cheated with their consumer. Previously also they have dd the same thing.

After that i received a call from Main airtel office. they said sorry for the inconvenience your amt will be credited in your a/c in 15 days. but as of now i didn't receive my money. so pls do me a favor.

                    I am in Bangalore, my account number is 14834656. I got a call from airtel in mid Dec 2016
                    offering a free upgrade of my existing 8Mbps broadband service to 40MBps at my existing rate
                    (Rs1609 net p.m.), but they would have to first upgrade my ADSL modem to a VDSL modem.
                    I agreed, next day Dec 16, a service
                    technician came and installed a new Huawei Home Gateway modem/router. After it was installed,
                    found I was getting approximately 50MBps on speedtest.net. A couple of weeks later, I was out of
                    Bangalore for 3 days, came back to find no internet service. Registered complaint, first two
                    staff workers were incompetent - had no idea how to configure this modem, one was telling me
                    to configure my wifi. 3rd worker called after a couple days and told me it would be fixed in
                    5 minutes, as there was "a service order pending" on my account. It did come back online but
                    now speed was only 10Mbps, and has stayed like that since. At same time (mid-January)outside my flat,
                    I found several flyers defacing the lampposts and street signs advertising Airtel 40MBps, unlimited
                    broadband with free router for Rs 999 !! While I am paying Rs1608 net p.m. for my 10Mbps line.
                    Made several complaints, staff either incompetent, ignorant or this is deliberate bait and
                    switch fraud. Last service call came from a technician who wanted to enter my flat to
                    "install a Huawei Home Gateway modem" so i could get the higher speed ?! My written complaints
                    to [protected]@airtel.com get standard response that my complaint has been referred to "concerned group".
                    I have now written to [protected]@airtel.com telling them I will not be paying this months bill and
                    asked them to terminate the service (as there does not seem to be any protocol for switching
                    my account plan to one that benefits me) but have not received any acknowledgement.

                        Got a new mobile number and SIM card from Airtel outlet, Bangalore.

                        If anyone calls to my number, they see the location Khandwa, Madhya Pradesh instead of Bangalore, Karnataka.

                        The samething happens, if I call any number other see my call coming from Khandwa, Madhya Pradesh.

                        My location should be shown as Bangalore, Karnataka, INDIA.

                        As this number will be used for business purpose, my location should be shown as Bangalore, Karnataka.

                        If this issue is resolved, I need to cancel the number and Airtel should refund the money. I have wasted lot of time in calling Airtel support, either support staff don't have technical knowledge or they don't want to fix the issue.

                        Reason behind this is may be the previous user of this number located at Khandwa, Madhya Pradesh. Because i also faced same issue as i call to my sister who is in TN it shows Karnataka. Recently she purchased that new number from outlet.

                          Hi,
                          I have migrated my airtel postpaid number to prepaid two days back. Sim got activated, but am not able to check special offers or balance, and not any USSD code runs in my mobile number.
                          I am not able to recharge my number online as well.
                          Though i called customer care several times and also mailed them, i am not getting any proper response. How can i use it without recharging?

                          Please don't waste customer's time. Resolve it soon.

                                Please find attached the screenshot of your Airtel app as on 23rd Feb 00.19 am.

                                I took an infinity plan on 22nd Feb at 1am of 549 in which 5gb data was promised to me. But unlike the promises u gave, I was given 1.1gb first for which I made a complaint. The CC executive said it is a technical issue and will be solved by 4pm afternoon. In the morning I checked my app and it was showing 2gb data. I called again and again and there was no response. I tried again and your executive said the usual thing "Ma'am it will be resolved by 4pm". Nothing happened. I called the appellate committee at 4pm and they said that it will take 72 hours. I agreed to that also. At 4.30 pm I got a message that 50% of my data is consumed, when I did not even use it. I again called the Airtel guys and I insisted to get me connected to the floor supervisor. The floor supervisor Mr Athish promised me and wrote it in your notes as well that I would be given 5gb data for lifetime if my problem is not resolved by 12 midnight(23rd Feb started). And as expected I did not get the data. (Screenshot attached)

                                I called again at 121 and I did not get my 5gb +5gb =10 gb lifetime data!

                                Airtel guys atleast have some courtesy to keep your commitments!!! I have been running behind u for 24 hours for a petty issue. Made like 20 calls to u all. I have a corporate connection and I will make sure that the bank which I am associated with cancels your contract if I do not get 10gb data in my account every month as promised by you all after 20 calls!

                                I hope u guys have some courtesy and customer respect to keep your promises. Also value your customer and their time!

                                      Applied for the airtel broad band connection and paid an amount of 3620 inr on 6th jan, 2017 but after doing numerous followups with airtel, never get to know what went wrong with the installation and why we have not received the connection yet. Requested full refund but yet to receive that as well till date. Not sure what kind of service is being given by airtel. This incident needs to be reported as airtel is simply cheating people with their poor service. Most frustrating experience i had with airtel.
                                      Looking forward to see some resolution on this issue.
