My phone number is already registered on do not disturb (Dnd) but i still get promotional and useless messages from airtel itself! Because of dnd, i don't get promo smses from other advertising or other agencies, but airtel itself keeps messaging me.
It's extremely hard to contact their customer care and even if we do complain to them, they say they can't do anything about it.

      Hi,
      I stay at Dahisar East, hanuman Tekdi. Here the Airtel netwrok is too bad. I have to always stick around the window for connectivity. I even had data card connection for that as well I have to keep that on the window for connectivity. It is too bad..I cannot continue my household chores if there is long running conference calls. Even little bit i move away from the window the voice start breaking.

      There is still issue in this area, not sure when it got resolved and what is your basis to close the complaint. No representative spoke to me. I have stopped the airtel service

        I am an Airtelmobile postpaid customer, called customer care askimg for new offers available for my number as my current data plan offer is going to end soon. But some Hariyanvi guy from customer support claiming his name as Devraj (I am sure which would be fake) was talking to arogently and rudely as if I was dying to use their servive. If Airtel has these king of customer support then the remaining people would also leave their services.

          I have converted my Airtel number ([protected]) from postpaid to prepaid 3 week s ago. When I try to recharge error msg appears 'Please enter a valid Airtel number'.

          I can receive calls but not able to make any outgoing calls because of insufficient balance. I tried to log a complaint at Airtel site, but after filling the details I cannot even click the Submit button. I have been using the same number as postpaid for years. This is a very poor service from such a reputed brand.

          Hi,
          I have converted my airtel numer([protected]) from postpaid to prepaid 3 weeks before, but after that I am not able to recharge. I visited Airtel store many times may be more than 10 times. Everytime Airtel person s are saying they are sending email to their respective team but why they are not resolving he is also not aware.
          I am totally helpless.since I am using this number since years so I can't change this number also. I cannot believe that Airtel is providing so cheap service.
          Please look into this in priority.

          I have change my airtel #[protected] postpaid to prepaid on 19th june 2017 and after that i am not able to recharge.
          Airtel has become very poor in service which i never faced since years.
          instead of many complains airtel customer care is not resolving the issue.
          I have converted my airtel numer([protected]) from postpaid to prepaid 1 weeks before, but after that I am not able to recharge.

                I have ported from docomo to airtel on 20th postpaid services. I received text saying airtel sim is activated and i was unable to get the network on the given sim. Reached out to nearest airtel office and they asked to wait for 15 min, i waited for 30 min & still the issue had not salved, they asked to wait till tomorrow afternoon and they promised that everything will be salved but still the issue persist. I m missing my client calls from last 3 days and i m paying fine for the same this is the worst service i ever faced : also i asked for report to docomo. They r saying they don't have option!!! They where the customers should go, if they do like this! Manager called sudhakar from btm layout airtel office is responsible for this, he is the guy who promised and nothing is salved. I request please help me to come out of this situation. Number gone network gone : i want use my old number again ; all my bank transactions stopped due to otp;

                        Hi,

                        I have given a brief to customer support he has filed complaint id:[protected]Airtel complaint id) stating bill of more than 4700inr.

                        Case description :
                        I was traveling from india to germany on 28th jan. I called customer support for activating one day international roaming pack as i will not be using the sim in germany. He didn't mentioned the deactivation policy of the pack and more over i can see a 1000 rs pack also included i don't with whom permission.

                        I stopped using sim after 3 days of my visit. I am using airtel since past few years. I didn't expected this kind of service from you people.

                        Secondly when such kind of things happens outside india, image of both country and company will fall.

                        Please look into this asap and one request to you people to please keep the knowledge of your support people up to date due to one person irresponsible behaviour i am suffering this much.

                          Dear sir / madam,

                          I had given one request to airtel executive for porting my number [protected] from idea to airtel (In the name of hem dev thapar) and also i had paid rs. 300/- for a new connection mobile number is [protected] sim number is h[protected]u (In the name of vedashree deshmukh. Both the transactions were done on 18th feb 2017.
                          Against payment of rs. 300/- i had asked for receipt and got the receipt no mhpd032140.

                          My concern is that till date the verification of the new number is not completed from your side and the number is still not workable.

                          I think that i may not be taking the right decision of porting my number from idea to airtel, because of this service is from your side before starting the new connection what should we expect as after sales service from your side.

                          Please see if i'll not get positive response from your side by today i'll cancel my request of porting my number and also i may have to get the new number from idea only.

                          Your immediate action in this regard will be highly appreciated.

                            I have taken a number [protected], with the rental plan 999 in the month of October (15/10/16). The rental plan as told to me by the agent, with free unlimited local + STD calls, and addtionally of 7GB free data. My data pack got ended by 21st and I have requested for an additional 10GB pack in the price of 1000. Before first month ending I have called up to the customer care ans enquired about it and the have told me the additional pack will not be renewed in the next bill cycle. After the first month the bill came of INR 3200+. I called up the customer care and asked them how come the bill could amounting this! he started reading the bill. I also know how to read English!!I asked them a clarrification of thew bill and asked their re[presentative to call me up. There was no show despite the promise of being called within 24 Hrs. I asked the recent bill details as well, and the fellow told me that additional 1000 RS data, which I had bought in the last day, was not deactivated, as it is not a auto deactivated one (First contary from the customer care!) and second of all, the free 7GB internet which one was included in the plan, has been vanished. The reperesentative has told me that out of 50 buckets, I have only 44 filled and the rest are remianed empty.

                            I have asked several times for the airtel representative to call me, but there is only third party vendor call, who just read the bill for me! I asked the clarrification and there was nothing! Repeated ly for two months I have asked the airtel representative to call me, but there was no show.

                            The number got deactivcated in the month of December citing the non payment of the account and they barred everything. But, the rental was on its own go!In the month of January one lady called me and asked wheteher I am still using the number. I told NO. She asked me when the payment will be done of INR9000+ (!!!). I got surprised, the provider has barred the service, I am not getting anything, then why the hell I should pay rental! For not using the number? Everyday I am recieving a call regarding this and asking when the payment will happen!.

                            Please provide a proper understanding of the bill and the tell me why I should not be entitled for 10+7 GB of the internet pack! Where is the unfilled bucket goes?and why I should pay 999 rental still, when I am paying 1000 for 10GB! Again why I should drop a rental for not using the number since from november!

                            I am using a regular connection of VF and the billing is crystalk clear. However I am using a dongle number of Airtel as well, and never faced any problem.

                            What happend for this number and why should I pay this amount. Settle the problem ASAP.

                              So i have a refund pending of amount 87 and even after complaints, they are not doing anything. I tried calling 400 but no luck there as there no option for customer service. I sent emails which they said will reply in 2 days and its a week and nothing. The complaint numbers are 295192.                                 I have been using the same mobile number more 4 years. I was relocated Bangalore to Chennai unable to do NMNP so I converted to postpaid connection. They took around 60days the process and I submitted the Address verification 3 times then I got postpaid connection then I used postpaid connection around 8 Months. I paid all the pending payment for postpaid connection.
                                I requested postpaid to prepaid conversion request Airtel outlet show room Chennai month of Jan but still my number not yet converted to prepaid connection. RECHARGE IS NOT HAPPENING. I called many time to customer care through the other airtel number. The customer care executive told with 48 hours. They were saying stories all the times. I went the airtel outlet in Velachery. THE WORST AIRTEL OUTLET ON CHENNAI. I can’t reach customer care 121 or 198.
                                WORST!
                                Even I tried to reach the Airtel appellate authority Chennai .
                                I expect my prepaid conversion issue should resolve.

However the transaction was Failed and i didnt get the Data benefit whereas my money was deducted from my mentioned SBI account. i have made several calls to Airtel help line and was assured that i ll get the refund but it is almost 2 months where i still get get the refund.

It has been shown on the website that 3.5GB 3G/4G data will be provided for 28 days on recharge of Rs 448. But i get only 2GB data after recharge. My account data balance should be upgraded with 3.5GB data but airtel has cheated with their consumer. Previously also they have dd the same thing.
