Dear Sir,
I have to airtel postpaid numbers in my family plan 999:-
Primary number :- [protected]
Secondary Number :- [protected]
I applied for a change of both numbers to apollo corp plan(99 rs monthly) on/before 17th Jan 2017
& following procedure has been done for the same :-
-Gave documents for both (hard copy and form)
-Address verification at home
-SMS 12139 for confirmation
I got a mail also on 25th Jan for entry in new plan.

But I got current month bill of 1139 rs Approx. & that is also under my family plan.Still
on checking my plan it is showing as active my family plan.
I approached customer care 3-4 times but all time they said u meet with sales officer at your company.
I approached atleast 5-6 times to them also and everytime they are saying it will done in either 24
hours or 48 hours.
I want all you to know that i am not using airtel postpaid my family data packs (internet) after 19th
January 17 only calling has been done from both numbers.Still you are charging me all.I will not pay
that amount & request you to please generate my bill till 20th jan as uses of my family pack and after
that as per usage of 99 pack at both numbers.

Please do the same for current month also.I am very fed up with airtel people response and either
close my number or will go to consumer court if my problem has not been resolved .

Now getting a reply after one month sorry sir we can't change your plan :(

        Due to huge bill I didn't pay airtel bill, I made many complaints but later on got call from [protected] no and he said himself a court lawyer and ask me to pay bill and also he said airtel will review your actual usage and refund the excess amt to me, till date didn't get refund. I paid Rs.1167 (transaction ID - 831650). Rs. 1167 is not my actual usage my actual usage should me between 300-400 Rs.
        Now whenever I call him he just say I will check and then cut my call. I don't know his name he did not gave me chance to ask his name even. Please call him and he is fraud person also Airtel is fraud who charge me huge amount also on belief of lawyer I paid them bill and now they are not refunding me my extra money. Please help me to get my money back.

          I requested for porting my SIM from Delhi to Bangalore and also prepaid to postpaid. An executive came over, collected documents, handed me another SIM and gave me some instructions. It's been a week, the SIM is working but is still prepaid and on roaming, after following all instructions. The guy who was the point of contact simply doesn't pick up the call anymore. The last time he picked, he connected me to the backend department who were supposed to resolve the issue within 48 hours, which of course has passed. It's so annoying because my job requires me to make calls and my work is completely halted because of this. Did not expect such poor service from Airtel.

            On 08 Feb 2017, at Airtel Customer Care at Chandigarh, I submitted relevant documents along with Photo & ID / Address Proof to get my Airtel Postpaid No[protected] to be changed to Prepaid.
            On 9 Feb 2017, a confirmation message from Airtel was received wherein it stated that the prepaid number will be activated within next 24 hours.
            Till today, i.e. 14 Feb 2017, the prepaid number has not been activated by Airtel.
            Kindly resolve the issue on Top Priority.

            9.2.17 recharge was done for my Airtel no for Rs255 2gb data for 28 days but I got only 400mb is credited in my account. Please reply me

                Postpaid sim not activated after porting 9789087848

                I ported my airtel postpaid connection from Chennai to Pune. I raised a porting request twice already. I have already collected new sim card and submitted the documents and also received sms saying the documents are verified and the request will be processed soon. But when I call customer care, they say the port request has expired. Now I have lost my old sim and the new sim is not activated which is causing me lot of trouble....

                I had transferred rs 400 through sbi wallet buddy on february 3, 2017. Although sbi says that the transfer was successful to the operator but on contacting customer care 198 on feb 13 i am told that this transfer is not there.

                Sbi buddy reply :

                Please help me by locating this amount of rs 400 and give me prepaid recharge benefit. Following is the reply from sbi on 8.2.2017:

                Your complaint has been registered with ticket no: [protected]. Plz, quote this no. While making any inquiry about your complaint. Expected resolution time is 21 working days.

                Your complaint wr[protected] has been attended to and closed after resolution as: we checked & found this txn to be successful. Kindly check with your operator for the delay in credit.

                  The customer care team seems to be highly incapable of providing service to the customers. I had applied for a change of address for my current airtel broadband plan, and the necessary person for the job was supposed to contact me within 24hrs, and they were supposedly going to complete the needful within 5days. It has been 8days since and no work has been initiated yet. Forget 24hrs, it has been 8days ans no airtel person has contacted me yet and when you call customer care they keep repeating the same rubbish of 24hrs and then later keep you on hold and not connect your call at all. All they are good at is sending the bill at the right time.

                  If the airtel service team is unable to provide service to its customers, I would suggest to kindly stop my airtel broadband connection as it doesn't make any sense to simply have an active connection which you can not make use of and in addition have to pay for as well.
                  And, can someone from the airtel team please explain to me, how a bill for the change of address has already been generated when the airtel service team now suddenly says that the connection is not available in the current location?
                  What's more interesting to note is the ads that are posted on the door of my residence when connection is not currently available, as well as my neighbors who are using airtel broadband when it is allegedly not available in my correct location!
                  Wish there was an option of giving 0 stars as feedback.
                  Customer service is that bad.
                  1st they don't respond for a week and then they say that the connection is not available in the current location.
                  What's more, they even send you the bill for this duration including the transfer charges. Now it's difficult to understand how one can send you the transfer of connection charges when they say the connection itself is not available in the location.
                  And its hilarious to hear this from the customer service team, because ads of airtel broadband connection is stuck on the door of my current residence and the person living in the next house is using airtel.
                  P.S. The distance between my previous residence and my current one is less than 100meters apart. Its hard to understand how connection is available in one and not available in the other!

                    I have migrated my mobile number [protected] from postpaid to prepaid. Airtel store people has deactivated my postpaid sim but not activated the prepaid sim till now. I have been visiting the store daily but no response from them. I was really frustated and want to register a complaint with TRAI. Please assist me in raising a complaint with TRAI. I have missed so many business calls because of these irresponsible people.

                              Airtel in AP circle had option of data carry forward if the customer recharged before the expiry date, now all of a sudden they say they have removed the carry forward option, millions will lose the money. This is outright cheating and unethical way, please take a note, I will be going to consumer forum with this complaint

                                I have a Airtel MyPlan 599. Relationship number [protected]. With the last revision of the Plan pack distribution, I had 18 Packs of (85 Minutes STD + LOCAL) that gives me a total of 1530 minutes of STD + LOCAL Minutes. However in my latest Phone bill I have been charged a total of Rs.203.39 rupees EXTRA in addition to my Plan pack, Out of this 119Rs has been charged for Local landline with 238 Pulse rates, 31.5Rs for Local landline STD with 63 pulse rate and 42Rs as special number for 42 pulse rate.
                                I am having serious concerns on the way billing is done by Airtel.
                                1. If you are already charging me for 85 minutes STD + Local pack, there is no mention that landline numbers are not included in this loop. Calling landline numbers is a very common thing for Postpaid connections since it is typically part of official work.
                                2. There is NO mention in the MyPlan page that the 85 minutes pack is MOBILE ONLY. Hence I feel cheated by Airtel
                                3. How is a 1800 or 1860 toll free number suddenly termed special number by Airtel. Ideally these numbers should come local calls and the 85 MINUTE PACK should take of this. Why should I pay more money under special number category for calling regular toll free numbers which normally attract local call charges under other network?

                                Please note that I have been using Airtel from 2007 till nearly 2015 and had momentarily gone to Vodafone due to local area network problems. Given the recent experience with Airtel, I am seriously scared that Airtel is no longer having the customer focus it used to have. I am afraid one more inflated bill like this I will be closing both my postpaid connections.

                                Airtel team - Firstly A BIG THANKS for responding to the complaint in a prompt manner. I also appreciate the gesture of reversing the landline charges in the current cycle. With these positive response out of the way, I would still like to point to the main issue which is that the 85 MINUTE PACK advertised on MyPlan does not states that the 85 minute is for STD and LOCAL but does not make any differenciation between LANDLINE and MOBILE. Given that people go for postpaid connections typically for higher usage like official calls which cover both landline and mobile, I find it strange that AIRTEL is treating landline and toll free number calls in different categories and thus denying users the very benefit of a postpaid connection. I sincerely hope that this deficiency is addressed forthwith so that MyPlan can be a effective postpaid option. Otherwise I see no value in taking MyPlan for a postpaid connection

                                Airtel Team - The resolution details have been shared only for part of the problem which was related to reducing the current Phone bill. However the main problem is still present. The MyPlan STD/LOCAL minutes seems to be restricted ONLY to MOBILE numbers and NOT TO LANDLINE. However this is not explicitly mentioned in your flyers or brochures. Having such a ridiculous restriction for a post paid connection is NOT GOOD FOR CUSTOMER. Post paid connections are typically taken for official/work heavy usage which involves heavy usage of landline numbers for CONFERENCE/OFFICIAL calls. I am disappointed that Airtel has NOT given me the flexibility to talk to Landline numbers and want to charge me extra for TOLL FREE/LANDLINE calls for my post paid connection!!! NOT FAIR ONE BIT.

                                I was also promised by the complaints/escalations executive that my feedback will be escalated to relevant departments. But shortly I will getting my next bill and I am still going to face the enormous frustration of being charged for LANDLINE calls which were not mentioned to me when I took the plan

                                  Airtel has started to offer ₹345 plan for UP (West) & Uttarakhand circle which, according to the recharge details, gived Unlimited Local+STD calling on any network and 1GB 3G data. I noticed that in the evening, my balance started deducting from main account (which means that the Special Recharge pack 345 stopped working). I complained to airtel customer support but they replied that this recharge gives only 300 minutes of free calling per day and thereafter, balance will get deducted from main account. My complaint is that when airtel have mentioned that calling will be free, how can they impose restriction of 300 minutes? Please resolve this issue and give compensation for this.

                                    Hi,

                                    I requested for Airtel broadband connection on 16 Nov'16 . Paid rs.1000/-
                                    online for the connection. Technicians told that there is no feasibility in my area, so cannot provide connection. I raised request for refund and following up from November but they are not crediting the money or sending cheque via mail. It's been 4 months now. Worst customer care!
