On 19th while comin to bhubaneswar from bangalore, my wife forgot her phone at home( @ bangalore).
Since she was on work from home and we were stayin in odisha for couple of months, we decided to get a duplicate sim for her number.
But that never got activated ( tried continuously for 3 days from 22nd to 24th). It got rejected due
1.live photo not matching with their records ( this is what airtel xpress store guy said0
2. ID invalid ( this is what customer care said on 121)

Id card given for duplicate sim were aadhaar card( linked to this number) and Pan card ( which were issued 6 to 7 yrs back). There might be some facial changes during this period but how airtel is distinguishing them (strange)

ok fine if they are not able to distinguish between then and now, there must be other ways to get it verified.

Moreover me and my wife are on family post paid plan, mine being the primary number, her being secondary and another only data sim( this also installed in my wife's phone)
If they can issue a sim with just a otp on primary number ( which is mine), there mst be some ways to get it resolved.

Airtel guys on customer care are of no help.
3 days of running to airtel store, caling 121 customer care, , tweeting to airtel are of no use.

I hope this to get resolved asap..lot of thing pending coz of this.
I have been paying this postpaid bill since last 2 years, with bill addressed to my mail id.
I hope all this info is enough to get to a resolution asap

    I have recharged airtel mobile number through airtel thanks app for Rs 599 On 3dec and received SMS regarding money transaction and money was deducted from the bank but my number is not recharged . Till now I got no info regarding the recharge and I have also raised complaint regarding the same but no refund has been processed yet. I request you to look on this matter. Hopefully waiting for your response.

      I have been charged hefty amount 150 Rs for new sim on getting my old one lost. Really disappointed at the misuse of consumers necessity.

        I have an Airtel no [protected] which I was used the no as long time and I'm abroad now. I tried inserting the sim recently and found that it is not working. I'm sure every month recharge for maintained card Validity. Pls check and activate my sim card.

            My sim got deregistered suddenly
            I'm working overseas so I sent parents with my AADHAR card to sort the issue
            But the service center says I have to INSERT a new sim and I should be present personally in the center
            How can I leave my workplace and go to India for sim card

            I'm ready to give my passport workvisa copy for checking my current status and ready to give authorization letter to my parents also to collect my SIM but Airtel is not replying to get me a solution

            I mailed them...put a dm on Twitter yet no response

            I want my sim to be active since all my WhatsApp banking transaction depends on that Airtel number

            Currently when I insert sim it shows not connected to network
            I even tried manual network selection...but no use

            Please help me out

              Hello,
              My sim is not showing service, Iam at uae now, it was working for the last three months after I came to uae.
              After this problems happens, I recharge for 99 for validity,
              Then 799 rs for roaming also.
              Still SIM is not active.

              Kindly help me to solve this.

                I have recharged for plan 699 on my Airtel number. [protected] on 15/12/2021. Plan includes Amazon prime membership. But when I try to get my membership activated by clicking on banner on Airtel App, the membership is not being activated. I sent email to Airtel. They told me to contact Amazon. When I contacted Amazon, they told me to contact Airtel.

                      Network Issue in Qatar

                      I have got the Airtel Prepaid SIM card from India 2 months back.
                      A yearly recharge has been done in this SIM.
                      For the first 2 months the SIM was working well.
                      Suddenly one day the network went off.
                      All types of trouble shooting done.
                      But nothing happened.
                      So I left it like this.
                      After 2 full days the network came back again on it's own.
                      Now after working for 15 days again since today...

                          Since march to august i have paid for the dth
                          connection but it was not installed yet at my place
                          and i have been complaining that please waive off
                          the extra payment that i have made so that i can
                          make the payment of the rest amount and use the
                          services but they are trolling me since September
                          that it will be waived off and they always used to
                          barred my services every month they treat me very
                          badly this is pure harassment and humiliation which
                          is unacceptable i have been a valuable customer of
                          artel with their artel black plan the premium plan
                          want a compensation regarding the same for this
                          harassment and humiliation they have done to me
                          the mental torture by barring my services whenever
                          they want, i want a compensation of 10 Lacs for this
                          because this is pure harassment they are doing with
                          me such a big name in telecommunication and they
                          are treating there premium customers like this which
                          is unacceptable. And this is regarding my number

                              I have registered for airtel fibre broadband connection on 19 December today it's 23 December no response from airtel side they have provided number of their dealer but it doesn't pick up the call.
                              Why is there so much delay if they don't have to install please tell or tell the tentative date for installation .
                              Pathetic customer service from airtel side.

                                  Hi Airtel Team,

                                  With full of frustration, I would like to inform you that your technical team has disconnected my Internet yesterday evening when I was not at home. When i logged the complaint with CUSTOMER care, Mr Pradeep Singh has refused to help and said that I have to wait until tomorrow evening to get this issue resolved. He was such a annoying person that didn't help CUSTOMER and asked him to wait for 24 hours. When I specifically request him to check with Online/Backend team to trouble shoot the probem, he again said that I have to wait for tomorrow.

                                  Below are the series of events happened:
                                  I have lodged a complaint yesterday with Airtel, that 5G connection is dropping 3-4 times in a minute and ping time is also more than 15 seconds. However, 2, 4G is working fine.

                                  Service Request was created by CUSTOMER Care.
                                  I talked to Rahul and scheduled time post 7pm on 22nd Dec.
                                  I start receiving multiple calls (around 20 calls from 5 different people), saying that there are multiple requests created and they need to resolve the ticket before 2.30pm. I mentioned that it is not possible as I am in Hospital.

                                  [protected]

                                  Again getting annoying calls to send sms and to check if they can come.
                                  (### man, A CUSTOMER has logged the complaint, and you guys are annoying him. CUSTOMER is not at fault if 2 SR has been created)

                                  Then I called Rahul around 6.30pm saying that I am stuck in jam and will not be able to reach before 8pm. He said that he is at my place and waiting till 8pm if I can reach. I told No, I wont be.

                                  When I reached home, to my surprise the internet was down. However, it was working till 7.30 pm because I was accessing my laptops from Hospital via Remote Software.

                                  Also, I have my neighbors, who heard your team saying that lets disconnect it.

                                  Dear CUSTOMER, Service Request Number [protected] created for your Airtel Xstream Fiber ID[protected]_dsl. It will be resolved by 07/02/2022 11:30:00 AM.

                                    From last 10 days Im getting so many calls which is not related to me. When I cross checked the number which they call is not my number. I don't know how it is possible. And also I'm trying to talk to customer service or raise a complaint, no one responded. Needed to remove all call forwarding numbers from my number.
