Hi,
In our locality I.e. deopani, Assam the tower is available but the signal strength is very weak.We are not able to use internet, cannot make contacts nor receive any calls.There are many airtel sim users here. We dont need any new tower instead of that if the present tower is repaired or the signal rate is increased more, this would be a great favour for us or our locality. I hope the airtel network will not discourage us by giving us the best network. Thank you.

    Sir,

    Recently Airtel launched a Rs 29 3G recharge with 30 days validity. To any non suspecting customer this recharge feels like a remaining data extention plan as firstly 75 MB 3G is a unusable data option for one month even for basic usage and secondly all other 3G monthly plans like Rs 96 etc offer this feature, but this recharge does not extend the existing data.

    Airtel has introduced this recharge just to fool customers into using this as a data extention plan.. but they eventually end up losing their previous data as well as phone balance.

    I suffered a similar issue as my 4 GB data worth Rs 850 was forfeited when I did this 29 Rs recharge, secondly I also lost Rs 125 mobile balance as 3G started working on my main balance without any warning.

    This was a loss of more than 1000 for me. No wonder there will be thousands of other who have suffered the same problem.

    If the company is not giving data continuity they should at least add a disclaimer along with the recharge option.. but no such warning was given.

    When I contacted customer care they refused to write my complaint and told me to switch to other operator if I'm not satisfied with airtel services. Too much of proud as a number one company will soon bring it down I'm sure.

    I want Airtel to take this matter into notice and recredit my lost data of 4GB and phone balance of Rs 125 or I'll shift all my airtel numbers to other operator and drag this matter to TRAI and Consumer court as my brother is a lawyer and RTI activist and we do not hesitate to take public interest matters into courts irrespective of the amount involved.

    Madam Akanksha Singh, It has been 5-6 days to the complaint and no action has been taken till now.

    It's my final warning, don't take it lightly. I have facebook pages with Combined 1, 00, 000 plus followers and have a potential to make the post viral nationwide.

    If you doubt the links are fb.com/tmjknj, FB.com/MyPapaMyLife fb.com/FunnyBabyVideos etc. All have aprx 30K followers each.

    I'll have to use them to expose your fraud And the consumer court suit will follow later if you do not repay my balance and data within next 5-7 days.

    Any damage to your company's reputation will be your responsibility.

        I live in Noida Sector -62, Bhagirathi Appartments. I applied for 899 Rs plan with 8 Mbps speed (effectively 1MBPS) but I came to know through an installation team member that plan provided to me is 2Mbps (getting 1/8 i.e. 250 KBPS) speed. The reason is that they are using society internal wiring and that does not support more than 2Mbps speed. But It is not my problem. They should have told me this limitation beforehand. I am paying for 8Mbps plan and What I am getting is 2Mbps.

        Dear Akanksha,

        I am really surprised. What is the resolution details you shared with me?? There is just one post by you that we are looking into it.
        For SIM port it took more than one month and now after submitting documents and activating the SIM, you are saying we have not received documents. My outgoing and incoming calls are stopped. This is bad and poor service from airtel.
        Kindly deactivate my airtel post paid sim no-[protected]. Due to iam going to abroad to service for 3years.
        My phone no[protected] is dead and broadband is not working from today 22/09/16 morning.

          Hi,

          I am using AIRTEL 4G DONGLE from last 6 months. Suddenly I am having issues with DONGLE as I am not getting 4G signal. I called customer care and followed up with them for almost a month, still the issue is not resolved. more over when calling the customer care number [protected] so many times we are getting number is not valid and even it is connected customer representative has put on hold for couple of times when I asked them to escalate the issue. I want to bring the issue in this forum because what AIRTEL advertising is not what they are working.

                  For the past one week, Vijay TV is not working in my home.

                  To get assistance, I was trying to reach customer care. After multiple times, I finally reached the customer care executive.
                  I explained my issue and the I was told that the setup needs to be adjusted by a technician and they would charge me 150 Rs for the same.
                  I asked why do I need to be charged when there is no issue from my end and other channels are working too. They did not care for what I was speaking. Once I say something all they respond is "Sir do you want me to send you a technician or not?".

                  it seems like most of the people facing this issue. please resolve this issue ASAP.

                    Again airtel proved as worst customer service provider. For last 2 days i am trying to get in touch with airtel customer care to surrender my broad band connection number [protected] but i am not able to contact with them as every time it says busy for the entire day. Then i called up to one of the airtel relationship centre at hyderabad at [protected] asking for help. They also mentioned that they can not help me, not even by giving another airtel mini store or relationship center number at my area and put my call on hold for few seconds and disconnected my call without any intimation. I am really pissed off now with airtel connection. It has been now more than 10 days i am not able to use internet connection. Hence i am trying to surrender the connection. But not able to do that as well because of your wonderful customer care service. So please note i will not make any payment for the month and take action to disconnect the broad band as soon as possible.

                      I did not get service from end of july 2016. I was out india and for 15 days after my return i kept trying to contact airtel customer care without success. Finally i got through but my complaint of "internet not working" was not resolved until sept 9. I was given a waiver of only rs 290 after many requests. Till today sept 28, 2016 the revised bill has not reached me. It was dispatched only two days back apparently by airtel. Yet i have been bombarded with smses and emails reminding me of the due payment date which is today.
                      I already issued a cheque to airtel last week which has not been presented to the bank. Airtel however claims the cheque was returned while the bank has no record of the cheque been presented for clearing.
                      This is a cheque for the month during which i had practically no internet service and for which i have still not received a bill. Repeated calls and emails to airtel have not proved useful.

                        Airtel has a very poor customer satisfaction and the customer care speaks as thou they doing a favor for the customers. I have been using an airtel dongle from 6 months and everytime its me who calls up and asks what is the due amount and pays the bill. I have not even got 1 single bill till now. I have been making the timely payment and from 2 months with my busy schedule i could not make any payments bcoz i just forgot that i myself have to make an attempt to call... One fine day they just disconnected my connection and when i call the customer care they informed me that i have to pay the balance of 900.. I am in a 600 tariff and the bill amount was 900 for 2 months (Im being lucky its not 1200) i enquired why there is less amount when it had to be 1200, but no answer. And the customer care representative spoke sooo harsh wen i requested him to get back my connection. And to make my payment online i need internet and these ppl are not even getting my connection back. I am seriously frustrated with the way these ppl speak. I just told them if this is the case i will disconnect my connection and they said okie we will help u do that… is this the way a reputed company behaves??? I decided not to make them favor by paying bills. Pls treat this on a customer’s respect. We are not supposed to be treated in this manner

                          My name is ayan kumar saha and my mobile number is [protected]. From the last few days i noticed some unspecified balance deduction from my airtel account. There was about rs 13 when i first noticed the thing. On next day i noticed that my balnce is about rs 5 which i didn't get that how it becomes so low, because i didn't used a single penny from it. After some days i again saw that my balance is about rs: 0.11. Although i made some calls but there must not be rs: 0.11 in my balance. Then i checked my last 5 voice deductions using *121*7#. The results are provided as screenshot but the rs.7 deduction cannot be shown here because it was not in the latest 5 deduction. I was surprised as i saw that the actual dedcutions were made due to voice call to a number [protected] which one is my alternative contact no. I didn't get the point that how is it possible that i called myself and deducted about rs.5.70 and many more. I checked the call logs on basis of the results but it shows nothing. No outgoing calls on that time from [protected] and no incoming call on that time to [protected]. Sir, i explained my problem thoroughly and i also have faith on airtel. So i am waiting for your fastest responce to my complaint so that the problem gets resolved and the balance can be refunded. Thank you.

                          Thanks airtel for the assist. I get refunded Rs. 19.5 from airtel. The balance was deducted due to call forwarding facility. Anyways they gave me refund within 30 mints of the registration of the complaint. The resolve the problem, refunded me and replied me via mail. Thank you airtel for the quick response.

                            Hi, this is in regard to my bill dated 18-SEP-2016 (bill 17 aug 2016 to 16 Sep 2016) for the airtel number +91 [protected] (circle Jammu & Kashmir), Which is amounting to Rs.24615.27 and total due is amounting toRs.22870.06 ( i was on infinity 1999 plan for the same month). On talking to Arjun Sharma of Airtel by calling 121 on 19 september 2016 at 5:10 pm he convinced me that the charges are because i have exceeded my data usage of7 gb Which is coming bundled with my 1999 plan.

                            Sir in a nut shell, i was told that i have been charged for excess data and Mr. Arjun Sharma without listening to my side of the story told me that i should Contact Mr. Imran Khan Durrani of Jammu for the same matter.

                            I however kept on telling Mr. Arjun Sharma that i have sent STOP TO 1925 on 22 Aug 2016 which is supposed to stop my data after the data limit of 7gb is reached. He did not give an ear to my request and kept on asking for the proof and told me to contact appellate for the solution.

                            I Raised the issue on appellate authority of airtel with service request no. 71578438 on 19 Sep 2016 asking them to waive off my charges. The request was closed on 23 September and i got a message from airtel that the charges are valid, without giving any verbal clarification. This was highly unprofessional behavior by airtel appellate who did not justify the validity of these charges, which forced me raise the complaint again with reference no.7189965 on the same day 23 september 2016(friday). On the same day i got a call from appellate telling me that the issue would be resolved by Monday. However the issue has not been resolved as of now 27 sep 2016 9 pm (tuesday).

                            I am claiming that the charges are invalid because of the following reasons:

                            I have sent STOP TO 1925 ON 22 AUG 2016 7:01 Pm which is supposed to stop my data after 100% data is consumed
                            I have got sms from airtel at 11:22 am on 16 Sep 2016(which is the last day of my billing cycle) stating i have consumed only 90% of my data
                            According to my bill i have consumed 1.6 gb data on 16 Sep 2016 so in worst case i have consumed 90% of data + 1.6 gb of data in total
                            On checking data usage after 16 Sep 2016 in my current billing cycle i.e on 17 Sep, 18 Sep, up till 27 Sep 2016 by sending DATA USE to 121 it tells me that i still have a data balance of 6100 MB of previous cycle which i can use with my current bill cycle, which further proves my point that i have not exceeded my data limit in the previous bill cycle.
                            My credit limit as per my airtel bill is 14000 which means my calls, sms, data is supposed to be barred when my unbilled usage exceeds this set amount, had i exceeded my credit limit airtel should have informed me. No intimation was done by airtel.

                              Also the amount I paid should be refunded properly on time.

                              Unnecessarily this process is getting delayed towards the motive of grabbing the amount I paid initially.

                              If this practice continues, it will lead to a legal action against Airtel...

                              Hi,

                              I am facing the same issue, ktv and vijay tv was not working for past 1 week. When i contacted airtel customer care earlier, they said they will send technician to look into this and i have to pay rs.150/- for this.

                              After googling i came to know this issue is already reported and everyone is facing this issue and the issue is with airtel. So contacted airtel customer care again and told them i am not only facing this issue. They said yes this issue is due to some broadcast signal change in ktv and vijay tv network.

                              If there is no issue on our side why we need to pay rs.150/- for the technician. Rather than fixing from the airtel side. So it means every customer of airtel has to pay rs.150/- to view ktv and vijay tv again.

                              This is a poor service from airtel.

                              What will be the technician is going to do going to every home and adjusting the signal? So if i have 50 channels and every channel network changes their network signal every month do i have to pay rs.150/- every time?

                              Is this is the only solution? Is the channel cannot be adjusted from airtel side itself?

                                Data recharge duplicated - airtel

                                On september 25 2016, i have done a recharge for rs.459. 3g/4g data pack. Money got deducted twice. 6 gb data received in my account. However only 28 days is the validity. Seems it is duplicated. My mobile number is [protected] tamilnadu circle.

                                I have tried to reach customer care by calling 121 but not able to. I was getting the tone like due to system maintenance this facility is currently not available.

                                Kindly assist to get the duplicated amount reversed to my account and confirm.
