I requested for a new broadband connection at 65 UB Jawahar Nagar, Delhi -110007 in August 2015. I got a call from the customer care centre regarding the same. A customer care representative visited on 15th August, 2015 and took away all the necessary documents and ₹1000 as the installation fee. After a few days he said that the connection is not possible in my area and I should ask for the online refund. I called up the customer care centre and told them the whole situation. They told me that the refund is under process. After 2-3 days i got a call from another Airtel representatives saying that they have free ports and connection can be installed. The representative came to the house and took the necessary documents and ₹1000 as the fee. The same happened and the connection couldn't be installed. I have been calling the customer care ever since but nothing has been done. After 9 months i got a refund for just one account. The amount for the second has not been refunded till now. i have submitted for the refund again today i.e. 26th September 2016. My ticket number is AORbfb40f. Please take necessary actions as it has already been a year.

    I am having network issue since 8th September 2016, instead of providing solution every time when I had called to customer care they came up with the new Service Request number. Here the issue started:
    1. On 8th Sept, I gave a complaint regarding network issue. Not getting proper Internet speed, please resolve it.
    2. On 10th again I had called to Customer Care to get the status of the issue. CR couldn't resolve the issue, hence transferred the call to Supervisor. He told Service Engineer will come to your place and troubleshoot the issue. But strange is, that service engineer called me and told today I can't come so I will come tomorrow. Waited for 3 days, but he didn't come only.
    3. On 14th when I had called, they have told me, by mistake, your number went into Pending Status so please wait for 4 days to get resolved.
    4. On 19th, I had called to Nodal office (2nd Level Escalation), again the same conversation repeated and asked me to wait for 2 days to get resolved.
    5. On 24th, I have emailed to Applette team (3rd Level Escalation), got a call back on the same day and they have asked me to get the new SIM at the Airtel store.
    6. On 26th, when I had visited the Airtel Store they have asked me to show the original proof and without that, they can't give the new sim. My point is, an original proof is required at the time of taking new SIM but in this case to get the SIM for my already existing SIM why they want to see original proof? Since I am outside from native it will take 20 days to get the original proof. Until that time I can't use the Internet.
    7. Airtel is not sure about getting proper Internet speed even after getting the new SIM. So it will take atleast 1 more month to get about the issue, whether problem in SIM or Dongle. So simply I will pay 2 months bill to Airtel without using the Internet.

      As per your reply from airtel its very outset to say you that now its 26/09/2016 but till now number is not working. problem is not rectified as you said that it will be rectify by 14/09/2016 4:45 PM.

      Please let me know why it is taking so much time and till now not rectified. its since 8th September not working problem with outgoing SMS and with incoming calls.

      due to delay in rectifying this i am facing finical loss and it effects on my profession also.
      every-time getting calls from airtel that it will resolve in 72 hours but till now nothing was improved and problem still persists.
      how they claim to be best network when they not able to understand the problem and rectify on time.
      due to this my 3-4 patients are seriously ill and i am suffering from financial loos also and also professionally.

      since 8th i am facing problem and due to this not able to do transactions in banking account and any financial as this number is registered everywhere. but till now after so many complaints AIRTEL not bother to listen and resolve the compliant. everyday got call from AIRTEL Appellate and they asking for time again a again. i ma failed to understand that since 8th September how much time they need more as now yesterday i got called and they said your problem resolved but it has not and problem still persists, they asking again for one more week.
      kindly take serious action on them it is my request as after so many correspondence they are not resolving the problem due which i am facing financial and professional problems and more over in had money for the same also by sim replacement which was i guess was the way by airtel to make fool and grab money from customers..

      since 8th September evening i am not able to received calls as whenever anyone calls me they get IVR msg The IDEA Number you are calling is not in service but my number is of airtel whereas i am making outgoing calls.

      For the same several times i am calling on customer care but no solution, why so.

      on 9th September cust care executive told me to replace sim and i Paid money 25Rs and get new SIM but problem still persists, i felt by this getting be fooled. when problem is not from SIM and it is your network problem why unnecessary i have been harassed.

      Further i want to tell that today i got call from appellate officer and he giving stupid reason and ask me to port no to idea for solution of the problem i am facing since 8th September 2016. I am failed to understand when there is no issue in outgoing call and incoming calls i am getting from Airtel Numbers.
      Sir how my number is release to Idea from your end and with whose permission. it seems some official in your Airtel is doing frauds and this force me to lodge criminal case and FIR against Airtel if till tomorrow i my will be not start working proper and refund all the payments i made to Airtel since last once year.

      I am doctor and due to no solving of problem from your end my patients suffer as when they have any emergency they not able to contact me and there life is at risk.

      I hope my problem you solve on priority for the sake of human lives.

      I wish to submit that I (Dr. V. K. Goel, District Program Officer, o/o CMO Solan) using post paid Airtel number since January 2016, since 8th September i start getting problem in incoming calls and if anyone calls they listen voice message that" the Idea number is not in service". for which i registered compliant in airtel customer care on 9th September 2016. but they didn't resolved and now yesterday the appellate authority of Airtel mailed me that your number is with Idea whereas still outgoing and incoming from airtel is there and since January am paying bills to Airtel and last bill paid on 10th October 2016 (Copy Attached) and my number still showing and working on Airtel Network coming. One and half year ago i ported the said number form Idea to Airtel (first Prepaid then in January in PostPaid). now I have apprehension that Idea Netrwoking Person in convince with the Airtel person deliberately/with malafide intention manipulating and misusing my number as by own the number cannot transfer to Idea from Airtel. Please I request you to look into it as its breach of my privacy and by such action my number they may use in anti social activities also as if they by without my consent and knowledge shifting my number. As I am H.P. Govt official i am more apprehensive as per today's scenario where anti social and anti nation elements are active and they using all the digital media for their activities. i feel they may also approaches to these service providers for such activities. I am requesting you to take action against Airtel regarding the malpractice and for manipulating with my Personal Mobile Number [protected]. Earlier also when my number was in Idea one of the Official from Idea done same and disconnected my number without my consent and i came to know that time also they transferring my number to some other person.

        My Airtel customer ID is : [protected]. I had informed the local Airtel DTH connection provider to disconnect the same and collect the Set top box alongwith the Dish antennae. But nobody has come to my premises, so far. I have been trying to reach Airtel for more than a month to disconnect their service. I keep receiving reminder messages (SMS) from Airtel, to renew the service for next 1 year. But I do not want to renew Airtel DTH connection. Kindly do the needful and ask your local vendor to collect Dish antennae and set top box, at the earliest.

          I am a victim of airtel fraud. I stay in lane no 7 koregaon park in pune and i have never seen more than a single bar of network since i moved to airtel a few months back. Really missing vodafone.
          Forget getting any internet. Forget 4 g, even 2 g doesn't work.
          And these agents persuaded me to take an unlimited postpaid pack of 2000 per month with 7 gb data. What's the point if i can't make calls or use the data due to lack of network coverage.

          I miss the little puppy of vodafone. Why did i even switch? :- (

          I'm gonna switch back to vodafone or maybe reliance jio but airtel... Never ever ever ever again... And i will ensure i tell all the people i know, friends, family, relatives, shopkeepers, security guards and the neighbourhood grocery store guy and anyone and everyone i meet... Never use airtel. It's a scam.

          I don't even want a solution to my complaints cos it's not a complaint. It's a reality. Airtel network sucks and it is the sad truth.

            On 25/09/2016 (Order ID:[protected] & on 17/08/2016 (Order ID: [protected]) I recharged my main balance account for 100₹ using "My Airtel" application through its plan under "Exclusive Recharge Offers" & further its extension "Top-Up Recharge" under that category (meant to provide a talktime of 100₹ in the main balance account if recharged with 100₹) .

            In both the above cases the amount I got into my main balance account was of only 95₹, that is, a talktime of 95₹, rather than of 100₹.

            On 19/09/2016 I recharged for 3G data pack using the USSD code *121*1# for the amount of 247₹ (which as per the pack detail would get 1GB daytime 3G data & 2 GB nighttime 3G data) but got only 647 MB 3G data for the daytime & 647 MB 3G data for the nighttime as well. On the same day I even called their customer care but got no proper response apart from some promising words (as usual).

            Also, on 10/09/2016 I recharged for one of the added mobile number in my "My Airtel" app ([protected]) through its one of the packs for 18₹ where the recharged number would have a talk time of 18₹ but when checked I found that instead of 18₹ talktime (as what was mentioned in the plan), only 18 minutes of talktime was provided & not the talktime of 18 ₹.

            Airtel has the maximum numbers of subscribers across the nation (in millions) & millions of its app users (My Airtel app). If this is how it fools its customers then it simply means that it has been earning billions of ₹ through an unfair way, cheating its customers.

            I always write to all the possible emails of Airtel ([protected]@airtel.com, nodalofficer.[protected]@in.airtel.com, [protected]@in.airtel.com, appellate.[protected]@in.airtel.com, myairtel.[protected]@airtel.com) whenever I face any such problems but hardly ever get any response.

              Hi Airtel team,

              I have paid 1000 Rupees for getting of new broadband connection on 19th December, 2015. After one week, I got message your area is not feasible for broadband connection. I have applied for refund of amount. Till now I have not got any refund even after 50 mails, 100 of calls and registered over 10 times at their online refund portal. After each mail I will get a reply we will be processing your refund in next 3 days and then after a week also no refund is received . I have shared my bank statement, CEF and Cancelled cheque around 10 times. This is the worst service I have seen till now.

                Sir,
                I applied for voice line connection to Airtel on June 1, 2016 as I was already the customer of Airtel for broadband connection from 2014.I paid Rs 500 plus 50 extra for the number of my choice. Till date they are not able to provide me with the landline services nor refunding my money along with photographs and proof given to them.I made several complaints & written mails to Airtel customer support / Appellate team that either provide me with the services or disconnect my connection along with my money refund, document & photographs but with no response since month June.Kindly help me out in getting my refund & document, / photographs as it can be misused for other purposes.

                  Airtel activated "vague weekly" and charged from main balance illegally. Mine is a new sim, just less than a week, i was getting adds pop-ups, i was cleaning those and go on getting these adds and suddenly got a message saying that i was charged for activating the service. I didn't do anything to activate. I am sure you (Airtel and the guys who designed this kinda of technical robing) will pay for what you doing. I just think about millions of people in villages who don't even know all these services and may be getting charged for what they are not responsible.

                      I am using airtel from last 8 years and being a valued customer atleast I should get relavant support from the airtel team of technicians. Everytime I called regarding the network issue they just advised to wait for some time and now it is 1 year I am still waiting for the solutions. I am unable to make calls properly or listen to the person on the other side. This is really frustrating .

                      I am not asking for 3g or internet service but atleast I should be able to make calls properly and several times I am told that people are trying to call me but due to poor network calls are not reaching me. I stay in a well develoved place in delhi known as Moti Bagh but I feel Like I am.residing in some rural area even those areas have better networks.

                      This network sucks in Pune too .
                      I stay in Lane No 7 Koregaon Park in Pune and I have never seen more than a single bar of network since I moved to Airtel a few months back . Really missing Vodafone .
                      Forget getting any Internet . Forget 4 G, even 2 G doesn't work .
                      And these stupid agents persuaded me to take an unlimited postpaid pack of 2000 per month with 7 gB data. What's the point if I can't make calls or use the data due to lack of network coverage.

                      I miss the little puppy of Vodafone . Why did I even switch? :-(

                      I'm gonna switch back to Vodafone or maybe reliance jio but AIRTEL ... Never ever ever ever again ... And I will ensure I tell all the people I know, friends, family, relatives, shopkeepers, security guards and the neighbourhood grocery store guy and anyone and everyone I meet ...Never use Airtel . It's a scam .

                      Same advice goes to you my friend, change your service provider.

                        For the past five days, two Tamil channels were not working in my home.

                        To get assistance, I was trying to reach 121. After trying countless number of times, got connected at the 24th time with the executive. I explained my issue and the guy coolly responded that there seems to be an issue with the system and that he won't be able to retrieve my information. Needless to say, he hung the phone too!

                        I then tried searching forums if some other people also face the issue. At last I found out myself that some Signal B001 error code and hence, I was offered a solution of trying out to call the technician to re-align the dish.

                        I have to shell out 150 bucks too! Beware guys.. I am sure, this is an issue from Airtel side. Not sure why the customers have to shell out extra bucks.

                        I am facing the same issue, KTv and Vijay Tv was not working for past 1 week. When I contacted Airtel customer care earlier, they said they will send technician to look into this and I have to pay rs.150/- for this.

                        After googling I came to know this issue is already reported and everyone is facing this issue and the issue is with Airtel. So contacted Airtel customer care again and told them I am not only facing this issue. They said yes this issue is due to some broadcast signal change in KTv and Vijay Tv network.

                        If there is no issue on our side why we need to pay rs.150/- for the technician. Rather than fixing from the Airtel side. So it means every customer of airtel has to pay rs.150/- to view KTv and Vijay Tv again.

                        This is a poor service from Airtel.

                        What will be the technician is going to do going to every home and adjusting the signal? So If I have 50 channels and every channel network changes their network signal every month do I have to pay rs.150/- every time?

                        Is this is the only solution? Is the channel cannot be adjusted from Airtel side itself?

                        Airtel has contacted me for this issue and have serviced this time for free. Got to know that service is free if something happens within one year of installing DTH.

                        But, yeah! This should have been handled from Airtel side itself, rather than visiting customer's home
                        I did have the issue once and it got resolved and is a problem again. Not sure what to do next.
                        K TV, Vijay TV, Gemini TV not functioning for the past one month and later I came to know that problem will be solved only after paying Rs.150/- to Customer service for which no problem at our end.
                        So I am thinking to change over to other service provider after my present subscription expired.

                          I have converted my postpaid No.[protected] to prepaid but after deactivation of my postpaid card when i call from my new prepaid card verification desk told me you details are still not updated into prepaid.
                          If your procedure is not complited why you deactivate my postpaid no. Now i am not able to recive any call plz update my details fast so i can verify my number and activate it.

                          I am facing lots of problem due to such unnecessary deactivation my calls completely stop please resolve the issue now.

                            While taking a data plan my phone got hanged and the same recharge was made twice and I sought remittance. The executive by the name Jagdish (might have heard him wrong. You can check who took the call made by [protected] around 10;30 on 25th September 2016) made me hold long on a chargeable call and then said his supervisor was busy and cut the phone saying he cant repeat the same things and nothing could be done. Is this what Customer "Care" as you call of Airtel is for?

                            Being a student I dont have high balance and Rs 97 going just like that is really unfair especially when the service provider doesnt even heed to the request.

                            I did not even get any valid confirmation that myh plan had been acticated. There was just a message that would never confirm that my balance amount was actually debitted. I have attached a picture of the message that I received.

                            Even till now i have not received any confirmation message except that Rs194 has been deducted for a plan of Rs97.

                            Being a customer i just seek that something be done because there is no point of holding the same plan for double the price. Even if this plan could be extended to next month as well i would be grateful.

                              I'm complaining about Airtel's balance deduction policy. Today my acct was deducted by 109₹ and when called up to the Customer care they said it was for the data usage done by me whereas I already have an active data pack with valid timeline and data balance as well. This is not the first time that Airtel has done this and the CC Executives also said there will be no refund made for the same. I've been with Aritel for a long time and to be honest it has become PATHETIC with time! Been almost 4 months that I'm complaining about call drops and no network coverage in my area. The open network policy that Airtel showcases is just useless as its been 3 weeks that I've complained on the same customer care too. I hope making an official complain over here makes a difference and would be justice to a loyal customer. Thaknks!

                                  I am a postpaid user [protected] my plan is of Rs.199 this month i got a bill of Rs.4191 wtf . Do i look fool to you? I am not gonna pay it. They told me that i have done smartbuy pacakage+15%taxes waao i dont know why you take taxes on such a thing . Airtel company can open a tax collecting center and they can collect according to their requirement i think so. Please i suggest everyone dont buy any airtel sim .i think better i have bougt some other company simcard . Tata docomo is better than this company atleast they dont charge so much taxes .

                                    I had tried to Pay my Airtel Broadband Bills of Rs.2595.74 through BillDesk Payment.It said that your transcation failed due to some errors but amount debited from my account instantly. It also said that Amount transactioned would be refunded within 5 working days excluding Sundays.I have been waiting for 6 days still my amount has not been refunded.Then, my neighbour paid those bills for me.

                                      I have been airtel customer for over 10 years . I have been using serval services from aitel.
                                      As I moved into my current house in gurgaon, I bought the broadband service since the beginning of last year.
                                      I have been paying bills on time and the connection was not so bad .
                                      The nature of my job demands a lot of travel. Some times short trip and sometimes long trips ( more than a month )
                                      . I have been paying the bills online individually every month as the system was not allowing me for automatic payment schedules using credit card ( it works for May phone connection though ) .
                                      I had to leave for a longer assignment in Colombia during April . Unfortunately, I met with an accident there and was hospitalised . My hand was severely affected and couldn't move for several months . Eventually out of many pending activities, broadband bills due was one .
                                      I couldn't pay online as they deactivated my online account . I made several international calls to airtel customer care with no success but lost money on Nice connecting international call waiting .

                                      I returned to India a day before, still with not functioning arm, to listen to harassment calls from so Called advocate from airtel . ( some Pooja, [protected] ) .
                                      I was threatened to send to jail and so on . The representative went on accusing me and never gave me a chance to explain . Though I promised to pay and tried to explain ' not paying ' was my intention, the harassment went on .
                                      She demanded that I paid the money by today ( 24th September ) to make sure I am not arrested / a complaint is registered in the court . I promised to pay, however, I was made to wait for several hours . In spite of telling her that I was delayed for my medical appointment, she demanded that I waited . After spending the whole day at whom waiting for an agent to collect the money, I decided to go ahead with my appointment . The representative kept interrupting my appointment with non stop calls even after texting her about the appointment . I am writing this after sever mental inconvenience .

                                      Most importantly, the representative kept refusing the idea of going to do direct payment airtel office . I am not sure if it's a legitimate call . However, I am done with airtel . I am changing my service provided and will recommend the same to my friends and colleagues .

                                      Nice pay back for being a loyal customer for years !!!
