Dear sir,
i recharged my airtel prepaid no. [protected] with 29 rs call rate recharge pack that is for 1paisa/second call rate. recharge is successful. but airtel company is deducting money 2paisa/second, it is just double.
i contacted airtel complaint no. 198 but they are saying that recharge is successful and 1paisa/second is being charged. but it is not true. i have proofs. 2paisa/second is being charged.
airtel company has deducted 350rs around like this. i request you to please take immediate action against airtel and refund my money as soon as possible.

      Hi, I had issues with the billing almost for 5 to 6 months now and I am trying to sort this out with your customer service but my issues keep reoccurring. I even thought of porting my number and for which your representative retained me by saying all my issues will sorted out. My charges went to more 2400 rs for a month and when was still trying to figure out the billing and your customer support gave me waiver of 200 odd rupees for internet usuage in that billing amount. This is when I thought of porting after being a loyal customer for more than 7-8 years but they tried convincing me and use Airtel. I went to Airtel showroom to pay that 2400 rs but to shock they said I need to 4400 now since my new bill is generated. I was shell shocked and called the customer service and they said I have been charged for 1000 rs for excess usage of 300 mb internet. I have a mobile data lock and I did a booster for 500 mb once my allotted data of 1.5 GB is over for the same month but still I was charged extra of 1000 rs for internet data. When I called customer service they were no help and made me to think o[censored]sing the Airtel network and I told them I am not going to pay and they did not even bother. They discontinued my incoming and outgoing now and they said i[censored] want to continue pay 5000 rs and someone called me from a billing Dept and said i[censored] want to continue we are ready to give waiver on my bill but I was really disappointed with the way my issue was handled so told them I really need to think twice. Now when I reached customer service they are saying they have no record of this billing Dept promising any waiver and I need to check with them. I am really fed up with all this and thought of leaving Airtel completely. If you think you can help me please reach out to my alternate number ([protected] ). Let me know before I make up mind to switch to a different network as my incoming is also barred now. Thanks in advance.

        I have been an Airtel customer for many years now. I have 4G postpaid router, landline, broadband, 2 DTH and 2 prepaid cellphone accounts with Airtel. I must say their quality of service isn't bad BUT the quality of customer service sucks big time. One of the worst I have encountered in my life, that's pathetic considering Airtel is one of the leading service providers in the country.

        Fortunately, until today I never had to contact their prepaid customer service. I had to today (31st August 2016) and the experience was nothing short of hell.

        I called to ask why a data recharge I had done on that day was not reflecting on my account and why the data balance isn't being carried over even though I recharged prior to expiry - simple question I think

        1st call with agent

        I can hear the agent speak to his colleague and he is blasting some other colleague of his. I hear this for 20 seconds and the he says hello to me. Next 10 seconds he cannot hear me (calling from my Airtel phone). Finally he hears me and I explain my issue.

        His first solution after analyzing my problem is - the data recharge I have done is for night data only and that's why it isn't reflecting on my account - WRONG ANSWER and I know its wrong so I confront him.

        His second solution is that the current data balance I have is night data only but the recharge was for day data - WRONG ANSWER AGAIN so I confront him.

        His third solution is that I have to recharge a DAY BEFORE expiry to carry over data. Recharging 20 hours before expiry means it won't get carried over. I believed him and fell for it but later realized its was the wrong answer after googling.

        2nd call with agent

        First 10 seconds he cannot hear me again and believe me I am talking loud. I explain my issue again.

        His first solution is that data will not carry over if I recharge for different amounts each time. According to him I should recharge for the same amount each time and then it will carry over. WRONG ANSWER, because I have recharged for different amounts in the past and it has worked fine.

        His second solution is that I should recharge for Rs. 154 to carry over data and he is in a hurry to get my confirmation to recharge to that amount. He tells me this is special offer from him because I am a special customer.

        When I asked him about the various recharge options offers showing up on MyAirtel mobile app he tells me he doesn't have any app in front of him so he doesn't know about it. Then I tell him he is from Airtel and how come he doesn't know about MyAirtel App to which he tells me his system is slow and hence he is not able to check anything. Based on his memory of recharge options he is suggesting me recharge for Rs. 154.

        At this point I really lost it but politely asked him to transfer my call to a supervisor. He insisted not to do that but instead he will try and resolve my issue. I tried him again [I know, i'm cray!] and he started giving me utter non-sense for answers. At this point I adamantly asked him to transfer me to the supervisor. Now he tells me the supervisor is busy and he cant take calls. I tell him I can wait. He says supervisor cannot come on call. I insist and then he did something unbelievable, see below -

        He asked me "Is there anything else I can help you with, sir?", I asked to transfer my call to supervisor.

        He again asked me "Is there anything else I can help you with, sir?", I repeated the request to transfer.

        He asked me the same thing (anything else?) once more and then cut my call ... woow!!

        Airtel sends me an SMS with the reference number for this amazing call - RMOAC[protected]

        3rd call with agent

        This time I ask for a supervisor straight away. The agent pleads that he can resolve my issue and I explain my issue again.

        His solution is that I have enabled family sharing so things aren't working properly. I realize there is no point talking and I ask him to transfer the call. He keeps me on hold for few minutes and comes back to tell me they are all busy. I agree to wait and he puts me on hold for more mins and then I am transferred to the main menu of automated IVR ... OMG!!!

        After spending 2 hours on calls, I didn't have the energy to make another call to 121, I thought it may be easier to call up VODAFONE or IDEA and start on number portability procedure. The timing of this call was kinda strange because I was contemplating if I should switch to Reliance Jio and now the inclination is more towards it. I don't know if the customer service there is any better but I guess it can't be this bad.

        Few pointers to Airtel management:

        1. Do you guys train your employees at all? I am really startled at the conversations I had today so this question is not rhetorical.

        2. Do you record or monitor any of these calls at all? Seems like the agent can do as he pleases, cut the call, put the call on long hold, put us back on IVR. Any quality metrics?

        3. You charge 50 paisa per call for prepaid customer care. I really don't mind paying 50 rupees if you can hire better service desk agents who are capable of resolving issues.

        4. If you believe bad customer service is better than 'no customer service' then you are WRONG. If you declare "no customer service" then it will spare us from calling up 121 and save ourselves some frustration.

        Word of advice to Airtel customers - Google for answers before contacting Airtel prepaid customer service, success rate of getting an answer is exponentially higher in google.

        Unfortunately for me I still have no solution.

          I m trying to opt for Airtel broadband in my house for more than a year.

          I called an Airtel Representative. He came home and collected all my details and went. After few days there was no calls from Airtel. So i called them and the Executive told me that there is some problem in my area and so they cant give me connection for the next 3 months.

          I called another Airtel representative, this time I made sure whether I will get connection or not before hand . He promised me to deliver. Again same thing happened . Line men came and told me that there is some problem and so I cant get connection.

          Have do you people unnecessary waste my time ??

          Airtel Line men them self were frustrated on the people who book the connection. He was also annoyed. May be these guys who book the connection get paid for booking more connections, So without any background check or even after knowing that there are some problem they simply book connection and make us upset.

            I have airtel land line and broadband service from airtel, my internet is not working from past 10 days and whenever i call their customer care they says my landline number is wrong and it wont allow me to speak to any representative of Airtel for complain .amazing number is correct but system is saying incorrect.i have prof of that as recording
            i do my office work from my home i need to talk to my client in USA and i am unable to do that, its huge loss of my business.

              I requested for porting of the above mentioned no. twice with airtel network from chennai to delhi/ncr as I have moved to delhi and its been more than a month I am trying for porting my no.

              1st request did not get process after successful verification.
              2nd request, for verification gave my collegue's no, airtel person talked to him but got msg as verification has not been completed, so the porting request is closed.

              After that I tried to contact, airtel person but did not get any option to speak to customer executive. I tried calling on 121 as well as [protected].

              In both the request, there was unexpected behaviour from airtel. I am using airtel network for more than 2 years still want to continue the same but not with this behaviour and response.

                Airtel recently announced 4g data offer for samsung galaxy j series such as 10gb 4g data at the price of 1gb 4g data for rs.265. But when i use the internet the signal always shows 4g, even though it deducts from 3g data balance, and beyond 3g data balance it will deduct money from main balance. The airtel data offers are always fake. When the usage is in 4g why they are charging for 3g.

                Basically i paid for a high class service (4g) and they charge me for providing me a low class service (3g/2g), even though the signal is in 4g. Airtel subscribers beware of fake offers claimed by airtel.

                  We have conectivity problem in airtel net and sometimes in calling so i want install a tower on my roof. There have not any tower near at our home there have some pvt school and also govt and mcd school and so many cyber cafe but have not any one used airtel network because have problem in connectivity. I'm als want a stablished a cyber cafe in my house. So I'm requesting you to install an Airtell Tower.

                    I went to airtel postpaid from vodafone 5 days back...

                    While submission of documents i clearly told to the dealer to give our company cug post paid plan...

                    But they have given my plan 299 for me...

                    While taking my docs dealer has agreed to give what ever the plan i asked but later he has given my plan 299

                    Regarding to this i went to nearest arc of airtel 3 times at kphb hyderabad,

                    But they not giving proper answer.

                    They are simply saying we don't have any idea of that plan & we cannot able to give such plans and escaping...

                    Do i need to roam around arc's of your airtel...?

                    I don't have work..?

                    Even i have mailed airtel but they are not giving reply simply giving reply to visit nearest airtel arc and submit the docs again.

                    But they are not changing my plan,

                    Today even i mailed to their nodal officer : nodalofficer. [protected]@in. Airtel.com and also [protected]@in. Airtel.com

                    One of the nodal officer called me and said that plan does not exit in our system so we cannot able to give that plan they are simply saying and even giving suggestion to convert to prepaid

                    Below number is my friend's number who is having the same cug plan of our company,

                    I need the same plan but airtel people dealer has cheated me... By giving wrong postpaid plan

                      I had chose airtel MyPlan for 3 numbers in my family by transferring from prepaid to postpaid at 23/7/16. The numbers were one by one getting disconnected and reactivated in postpaid.

                      I was told by the representative that the prepaid balance would be carried forward when I receive my first bill.

                      I had received my first bill, but the balance was carried forward only from my primary number, my secondary number [protected] had a talktime of around 300 rupees, but it did not carry forward.

                      I have made several complaints regarding this matter but with no resolution, today I made a call to 198 and they say I have never registered a complaint at all, and when I was arguing about this matter, the customer rep cut the call just like that.

                      I was furious as I was being transferred and put on hold for about 25-30 minutes today and about 15 minutes the other day, all for no use.

                      I demand a refund for the balance I had in the aforementioned number for the postpaid account relationship number [protected] (Primary no.[protected]).

                      No one called me about any details and the issue isn't being solved, my bill date is nearing and you people are taking no steps to ensure my problem is solved, I mean how hard is it to waiver off the 303 rupees I had as prepaid balance to my postpaid account.

                      This is only my first bill and already I'm receiving such treatment.
                      No I did not receive any resolution, is this a joke to you people ? It has been 10 days since the bill has generated and I have placed several complaints with no efforts taken from your side.

                      I demand an explanation as to why the amount isn't being carried forward and want it to be done instantly.

                      Waiver off the amount from my bill plan, only then I will accept the resolution.

                      I don't want such copy paste messages saying complaint has been raised, 72 hours, 48 hours all that hubbub.

                        I have recently struggled a lot with the Airtel Mobile bill "unauthorized issues" for the past 5 months.Lastly they provided me waiver for 1750 at the end.Upon aggreeing by managers commitment i paid 2973 approximately on june 30th.After that my mobile got suspended immediately without waiver applied.Now that they asked me to pay again 2500 rs in the month of july ..As i was running out of cash told them that i will pay during august 31st..And i paid the bill amount as per manager told.Yet they didnt provided me waiver..and now they are number is in disconnection hence we are not sure whether can we retain the number back number or not...So disappointed with their approach towards this.

                        this waiver still not processed..

                          This mail is to express the DISAPPOINTMENT against the false charge applied in my 3G data.

                          My Bill generation date is 20th to 19th of every month, and i used to get 1 gb of 3G data each month since 5 yrs almost.Now a days just after few days of my bill generation i am getting message as 50%-70% data has been consumed. and soon after one day i get messag that 90% of your data consumed. When i called customer care executive they said they have upgraded their network from 3G to 4G so its consuming more.For that am i responsible?
                          Last month withing 4 days i got the same message and they reverted my data stating some issue in Airtel, this month same happened and customer care suggesting me to take another plan of 399, 499 etc.

                          This is just another way of making money i feel.This is really very much disappointing as i am using airtel since long.

                              I am Prashant Hegde and i am using airtel no [protected] for the last so many years. Now a days the same service providers are literally cheating. I used to recharge for data pack for combi offer of day pack 1.25 GB of 3G +1.25GB of 4G and night 1.25GB of 3G for Rs. 295.00. But after opt for it, only 1GB will get released for usage and completion of 1GB the mail balance will get deducted for data usage.. Its not at all fare and this is not a first time, its happening almost every time. Need to take some action on this.

                              Sir I had topup my airtel number [protected] with 100 rupees through mobile banking . But amount deducted from my account, topup not done. After topup, i checked my balance, it shows 0.please check and topup my number immediately
                              I am not able to receive sms from airtel Preepaid no. [protected], since one month. All other sms like net banking, creditcard statment are coming. this is really frustrating. Kindly, rectify the problem as soon as possible.

                                I had loaded 300 to airtel wallet as well as i had recharged my number with 275 and i had recharged my friends number. But i have received only 500 mb data. But the total night data balance i should get is 2 gb. If i call airtel representative they are saying that your account has been credited with 4 gb data but i m trying to say that the data balance which is available is of recharged internet balance.                                   Your service is too bad . being an airtel customer for past 10- 11 years... the service you are providing at kochi is horrible and disaster. you dint even have a customer care assistance any where after edapally, kochi, atleast near to Aster Medcity, Kochi .                                     I gave cheque to the boy who came at the time of new airtel broadband connection.He asked the cheque for 6 months the amount of Rs.4774/- I gave the cheque before the connection start.After some days I got 4 to 5 call from the company that your amount is not paid yet.So i thought that the cheque i gave has been misplaced or some other problem. Without enquiring that the cheque is debited or not i made payment through credit card the amount of Rs.4791/-.The amount i gave second time by credit card is updated and the cheque is not updated in ur account but debited from my account the detail is given below also the statement of bank account is attached.

                                        Im facing lot of issues with the Airtel services. I took 4G connection for the mobile number:
                                        [protected] in the month of March, from the date of purchase im facing the trouble.
                                        First month i used some data and paid the amount of 858.75. Next month im not even getting the proper network coverage i used 450MB only so i didnt pay the bill.
                                        For May month i didnt even used that number for that also i got the bill stating the amount of 1, 917.50.
                                        i went to nearby airtel show room and paid the amount of 1, 917 after a long discussion with the customer care executive.
                                        In the call itself i clearly mentioned that i wont pay the rental bills and all.
                                        After that also im receiving the continuous mails and calls from your customer care asking me to pay 543.Why i should pay the amount???? see i have deactivated the sim card on june10. its your problem that you will take few days to deactivate the sim then why i should pay the amount.you guys are very cheating.
                                        Seriously your customer service is very disgusting and even they doesn't know how to talk with the customer.One executive called me on[protected] her name is Renuka her service is very bad.she doesn't know how to interact with the customer. im talking politely to her but she is scolding me in a very rude and using foul language.how dare she can scold me.is this a way to treat their customer.
                                        Today[protected] also i received a call to pay the bill same executive spoke to me but she cheated that her name is Keerthana. see how cheating you are!!!..
                                        I paid 1917.50 without using the internet still you people want us to pay???
                                        I changed the network because of this incident.

                                        If you really want to help me please cancel the bill of 543.
