I want to know what is the standard internet charges applicable national wide. Why there is a sky high pricing. Price should be reduced. 2g 3g packs are like normal people cannot afford these rates. How these people defining these rates. How can they change the rates without informing the users. The message they are communicating in messages and online are different which leads user to loss money.

    There is one Airtel staff. He took Rs.500 from me for providing an airtel postpaid connection and gave a new sim to me. Now, its one month and he still could not activate the sim. Now, I told him to return my money and take back his sim, but he is constantly delaying and ignoring my calls.

    This is cheating customers in a very bad way.
    Airtel being such a reputed organization should not entertain such employees. I expect strict action and refund of my money.

    Hi,

    The customer support guy called and he was very rude in the way he was talking.
    Then he asked to do card to card transfer from SBI ATM which is never required for receiving money.
    Then he said through Paytm and he asked for my Paytm OTP. I refused to tell him.
    It is a total fraud.
    There are many ways to send money like netbanking, etc but he insisted on paytm.

    Strict action should be taken against this.
    The support person was again trying to fool me.
    I always thought airtel is the best provide but now its very sad.

    Please take some action for the same and I want a refund of my money as soon as possible.

      Hi, This is DINU. I have taken one Airtel postpaid mobile connection on 06 AUGUST 2015. The number allotted for me is [protected]. I bought this from AL Airtel Relationship Centre, kadappakaka kollam. The executive told me that the SIM will be activated within 24 hours at any cost. Now today is Thursday 11th august 2016. As of now the SIM is not activated. I have mailed twice and contacted the 121 customer care more than 5 times. The reply I received is that the address verification on my connection is not yet done. It is not my fault. I dont know why this much delay in Airtel for address verification for a single Postpaid connection. postpaid connection . There is no meaningful reply from Customer care also. All fake commitments that customer care is working for 24 X 7. I sent a mail on mnday 8th august. I have not received a reply as of now. Their customer care is not working on Saturday and Sunday. At last I asked them to cancel my connection as it takes too much of time for activation. Atleast for this mail I am not sure the educated Airtel persons will reply or not. I got frustrated too much with the way they treat their customers. One customer care person is saying that address verification will take 7 days. Another person in the next time call is saying that it will take 24 hours. one more person is saying that it will take 72 hours from the time of purchase. There is no uniform reply and finally another person asked me to go and contact the dealer from where I purchased the SIM. This is how the Airtel company is treating their postpaid customers. The number 1 worst customer care experience that I have never had before.

        I wanted to install new airtel broadband connection in my house which is in Sabari Serenity apartment Siruseri, chennai. I contacted airtel and in their website, it is mentioned they charge u with 1000₹ as installation fee. I applied online and a parson called me from airtel and said i have to pay 3500₹ as installation charge instead of 1000₹ as mentioned. Why this huge variation from announcing publicly that it is only 1000₹ and you guys actually charging 3500₹? The parsons name was Manish Patel as i found in truecaller. His ph no is +[protected]. Please look into this matter as its not just a small varient.

          Airtel got charged 300 rupees for 2G data for 56 seconds. I am unable to know the reason why 100MB data is consumed in 56 seconds of time in 2G network.
          We are unable to get good response on the bill that was charged. I am having 3G Pack which is stating in the bill post 300MB data stops for Rs.100. But they have charged Rs.1400 for the data usage.

              We had been cheated by the salesman lokesh of extra charges 200 rs.for wifi installation.he charged 1200 for rs 1000.
              He had cheated many such customers, v had been informed recently regarding complaint registeration, i hence put forth the issue and money of Rs200 be refunded as soon as possible and strict action should be taken.

                In website it is written for free sim swap but in the relationship centre Balasore they are charging from customers for free sim swap.

                  Hello,

                  To cut the long story short, i am fed up with airtel. Disappointed to say the least. And also angry after speaking with the customer service executive mr. Manoj (The floor manager, as he introduced himself.)

                  My name is arpan bhattacharya and my contact number is [protected]. The complaint is regarding my airtel mobile connection. There are 3 issues as mentioned below:

                  First, i have been charged a bill amount of rs 670 for the month of july 16. For your acknowledgement, i am on 399 combo plan which consists of 600 min local calling and 150 mins std calling.
                  The usage has gone up the limit as per airtel's record, which i don't agree to for i know my usage.

                  Second, i am given 1gb of 4g data which is been consumed 100 from 22nd of july to 7th of august as mentioned by the airtel. Which again i don't agree to because i have wifi connection both at home and at work and i generally use my mobile data while traveling. I do not watch videos on my mobile data.

                  Third, my billing cycle is 23rd to 22nd of every month. For the last month my bill was generated on 23 word of july, i suppose. When i logged in on my airtel account online i get to know that the due date of the bill is 11 august, 2016. And i have not received my bill for the month yet. I have been enrolled for the e-bill by mr. Manoj few moments back.

                  Apart from these 3 major issues with airtel, my experience has been totally unsatisfactory since i have come onboard with airtel. It's complaint id (Which i am writing to right now) doesn't respond. I have experienced this in the first month of coming onboard already. But i have no option left but to try to make my voice heard to the people at airtel. The customer care executives was very rude and totally not helpful on this.

                  This is to inform the authorities at airtel that i am not going to pay a single penny to you until my problem is solved and a fair solution is given. I don't earn money for you to take away by frauding.

                  Your sales people didn't tell me things that i get to know when i asked the customer executive. The charges on local landline and std landline was not communicated while selling the service by your sales team.

                    I have been using airtel post-paid services for over a year now. However, there are a lot of issues which i am currently facing:
                    1. The bill amount - i have two sim cards - one vodafone and one airtel. I mostly use the airtel for mails and calls and i use the vodafone for internet browsing and online-streaming and still my airtel bill comes to around 2, 200 per month (Even after taking myplan services) and the vodafone bill comes to a max of 1, 250. I am not sure how there's such a difference.
                    Suggestion: just like prepaid services, send balance updates to postpaid customers after every call, message and times when the mobile data is switched on or off. That will help us to keep a check on our usage.

                    2. Internet usage - i have taken a 10gb - 4g plan per month and yet all my data pack is finished within a span of 20-25 days (Not even lasts for a month). However, the vodafone card which has a 4gb plan lasts more than that.

                    3. Bill/ credit limit - so i get a message from airtel on 9th august to pay my postpaid bill (For 6th july to 5th august) of rs 1, 838.15 by 24th august. That means i have 15 days to pay my bill. However, on the very next day (10th aug), i get a message saying, "usage on your airtel mobile till 9th august is 1843.00 which has exceeded the credit limit of rs 1000.00. Please pay rs 1838 immediately for continued services."
                    Firstly, this is confusing, if i have timing till 24th august, then why does airtel want me to pay immediately?
                    Secondly, i was in an important meeting. So i decided to finish the meeting and call customer care and ask.
                    And it so happened that my meeting was adjourned within a couple of hours and by the time i came out, all my outgoing services and internet connections were terminated? Why, when and what did just happen?
                    Suggestion: please be very clear in about the billing terms - we pay you more than you actually spend and hence we have all the right in the world to know where my money would go.
                    And give a couple of days' time at least after your "first-and-last and the one and only warning/blackmail message"; people might be travelling or busy. Disconnecting all services within a couple of hours is just cruel and taking undue advantage.

                    4. Customer care - the worst thing is that if you want to talk to airtel's customer care executive, you wouldn't get the option in the main menu. You will have to go deep inside and explore all the options. And when you finally get through, the executive will put you on hold and turn up with no explanation. And when the airtel terminates all your services at once (Like the case i had yesterday), it doesn't even allow you to dial there "121" number. How am i supposed to get through and find out what's gone wrong - are you kidding me to expect me to visit a airtel service center which is not even in the vicinity of my office and home.
                    Suggestion: please have a customer care option in the main menu. It should be a tollfree number. A customer with no balance or terminated outgoing services should also be able to talk to the customer care and understand what and where things are going wrong. After all, airtel is now an "open network".

                    5. Services - so eventually, i decided to go home and pay my bill and then deal with the customer care once my services are active (Because i am a working woman who socializes and writes blogs and deals with arrogant cranky clients who need immediate replies to their mails). And so i used freecharge and made the payment of rs.1866 at 10:30 pm on 10th aug. It is 11am of 11th august now and my services (Outgoing calls, messages, internet/data pack) are still inactive. I went all the way to their service center in the morning only to find it closed.
                    Suggestion: please do not say the "payment is successful" until the bills are actually paid. I got a successful payment message from freecharge. But my services are still inactive.

                    6. Network: even after seeing that my near-by tower strength is good, why do i don't get proper network in an area like andheri? For internet, there are a lot of times when i have to switch the mobile data - on and off, multiple times. This is not a handset problem as i have tested this on iphone, xperia z, samsung grand and moto g2.

                    As a customer, i demand answers (In fact, airtel's prompt action) to all these issues. The so-called open network needs to open-up and start valuing its customer.                     We had been cheated by the salesman lokesh of extra charges 200 rs.for wifi installation.he charged 1200 for rs 1000.
                    He had cheated many such customers, v had been informed recently regarding complaint registeration, i hence put forth the issue and money of Rs200 be refunded as soon as possible and strict action should be taken.
                    My airtel no is not working properly even not internet ... u r guys giving us bad service ... pls resolve it otherwise .. i will switch to other network

                      I have recharges the amt. Of rs.125 & 185 for the top-up but the same amt. Credited in net a/c, i dont have the net facility in my mobile, i am regularly making the top-up for call purpose. I already talk to costumer care & as well as appellte. [protected]@in. Airtel.Com on dated 10.06.2016 & 21.06.2016, but both are not agree to transfer the same amt.In call purpose, how the net account is credited with out the customer knowledge, customer making the top-up for call purpose.

                      The Airtel Co. Not mentioning on tariff chart, the Amt. of rs.125 & 185 is a internet top-up only, due to that case so many people are making on the basic of tariff chat by sowing the Co. and happens like this, . That means Co. cheating the people. The poor people can not do the anything of the Airtel Co. Consumer wants top-up of call charges not for internet. The same happens like me I wants to top-up of call purpose. I request Consumer care of Airte & appellate but not sole the problems or not concert in call top-up in my mobile, I am suffering the net loss of Rs.125& Rs.185 due to not having the internet facility of my mobile No. [protected] which made the top-up.                         I am Airtel Broadband customer from Aundh Pune area. I have logged in 2 tickets with airtel for frequent disconnection of broadband. I loose connection every 5 -10 mins. However, the issue is not resolved yet. Every time i call, i get same response that cable is damaged but company is not replacing the cable due to municipal permission. Airtel has to fix the issue. I don't have broadband connectivity and not getting service for the bills I am paying.

                            Errorcode:6 is shown even after recharging and the amount is being deduced from the account on a daily basic according to the plan from august 4 but there is no service for the past 6 days tried calling customercare but as usual no reply fix this problem as soon as possible .                               I have been using airtel from 19 july 2013 it has been over 3 years now
                              I have been enjoying the service of airtel and have been recommending it to many friends too but the service from airtel has degraded from excellent to very poor for past 45 days atleast for me You can check my previous complaints over the customer care first it started when i recharged for 199 and used 2gb and the internet never worked as it used to work before nothing loaded after that.
                              Then i wanted to port out of airtel i got a call regarding to stay back in airtel and ill get an compensation i taught all will be back to fine. I had to call 4 times to get the compensation and it has got worse more now
                              Which ever page i load redirects me to airtel one touch page which restricts me to view the page i want.this so anoying what ever i load ends in airtels page i think it time to move from airtel
                              And i being a retailer i wont think ill suggest any of my customer to purchase airtel simcard airtel has registered a black spot on my remarks

                                During on-line transaction, amount Rs 1010 have been deducted from my SBI account, where as recharge value Rs1100 has not been added in my airtel mobile no.

                                Whereas I have received message from Airtel during on-line charging, your will be added within 2hrs else will be refunded within 7-10 days.Still date amount has not been added in mobile no else refunded also not made.

                                Kindly I request you refund the amount or recharge value Rs 1100 to be added in my mobile no.

                                    We port our corporate connections for mobile phone from Tata to Airtel few months back in thought that Airtel is better than then tata but from the very first day we are facing signal problem, we have to stand in the streets for making and receiving any phone call and Inspite of our repeated complaints no action has been taken to resolve the problem by the service provider.Once there engineer came to our premises and his phone also stop working in our premises, he asure that the problem will be resolved in a day or two but no action has been taken till now.
                                    We request you to please do the needful as we facing problems and losses in our business due to this problem.

                                      I am Sushobhit Singh, resident of G 714, Jalvayu Towers, Sector 47, Noida, UP -201301. Actually i am writing to you because i am facing very very unprofessional attitude of Airtel Executives. I have submitted all my documents for new Airtel broadband connection 2 weeks back to the company but till date no one came for installation of broadband. I am helpless since there is a ISP line of Airtel in my society otherwise earlier i was using BSNL and the services were far better than Airtel.
                                      This monopoly thing is actually making them do this, in such competitive business you people are behaving like ASS. And considering this attitude yesterday only i have requested all my family members to immediately raise MNP and switch to Vodafone. So, with this attitude Airtel lost 10 customers who were actually loyal to Airtel.

                                      How much time is needed beyond this much of delay. I am talking to BSNL meanwhile if you are able to resolve it within a few days please do else I have to choose BSNL. At lease give me a date, or let me know if this is not possible for you.
