Highly dissapointed by the airtel mobile service provider, due to very poor signals in sector-11, rohini, new delhi from last 3-4 months. there is high obstruction during the voice calls through airtel. hoping for its correction from months, but there is no improvement. being in the capital, if the service is like this, i am doubtful about the country.

    Sir, madam

    I am narasimhan p s from chennai. My prepaid mobile number [protected]. For more than past 3 months i have been deducted rs.5 daily for a value added service called celebrity wellness mall which i never activated in the first place. No prior intimation was given to me regarding the activation of the value added service. I myself checked and deactivated the service today. 15.6.2016. The information was available only last 5 transactions and for last 5 days, rs. 5 was deducted from my main balance. When i contacted customer care, the person was rude and stated i would have clicked on some link while browsing so that the services would have activated. I have no idea of clicking any links regarding the value added service. Please check into the issue and resolve the same.

      This bringing to your notice regarding your Airtel associate ( the way of speaking with Airtel customers) she is very bad and not giving any information properly, i am airtel customer from past 10 to 15 Years and more than 10 members is using airtel network, from past 45 days using this new sim card,

      today i have done paytm recharge of 20 rupees and i have received SMS also, recharge done successfully but when i tried to call with this number not able to make any calls, then i called to customer care number 198

      its very bad customer care?????????

        My airtel mobile number is [protected]. On 14/6/16 18:43, a vas "airtel deals" was automatically activated on my mobile and rs. 35 was deducted from my balance.
        I never raised a request to activate this vas.
        So, i called customer care on 198 and asked the details regarding this transaction. They say that the system shows that i raised the request using internet ad and i confirmed the subscription by responding to a message.
        In my defence, i didn't even use the internet data at that time and hence how could have i clicked on an internet ad. Also i never received a message for confirmation.
        I directly received the balance deduction message from airtel and that is how i came to know about activation for the vas.
        I immediately deactivated the service as i didn't want airtel to say that i used the vas for some time.

        This has also happened to me 1 month back and then my money was refunded. But this time they are blatantly accusing me that i activated the service.

        So, i request you to raise a complaint for the refund on my behalf as i have been victimized. Not only the balance deduction but also this act of airtel mentally harasses me.

          On 14th June'16, I called up Airtel DTH Customer Care inquiring about future monthly subscription details, though my plan was due to expire next day midnight. The first line support executives disconnected my existing plan and rendered another plan with immediate effect without my knowledge. Spent more than 1 hr to understand why they have done this, but these people without the requisite experience of handling customer grievances started shouting on me (the Customer) which at last led to my extra expenses and charges.
          Even I have made customer complaint on Airtel's website with my Customer ID and Complaint Number, no body bothered to atleast answer to my query.
          I would like to inform that I have full proof in my support to take this one to legal action. I will be happy if some Company Representatives can speak with me after asking for my contact details and Customer ID number.

          Horrible experience dealing with customer support team
          Dear Customer Care Team,

          I am now completely fed up with the customer care support you are providing. Do you think customers to be fools? Are your customer support people there to play with customers' money and force them to hang up with your DTH Services? Tell me, if I surrender my DTH connection, will I get back my money I spent for purchasing the Dish?

            airtel activated a service itself, i did not requested for any service,
            while using internet, and i stopped the service using IVR,
            after stopping i called customer care and asked for refund of 25 rs.
            but the executive did not respond well and did not refunded the amount.
            Please help me with the issue...
            Airtel is doing this for several times to me...
            but this time they were not refunding the money.
            and they activated services without my conformation...

            they say the service is activated while using internet...
            I don't want any those kind of services...

            they were cheating the people all the time...

            please take an action against them...

              I am an airtel user for long. My number is [protected]. Suddenly my sim is deactivated for without any reason. When i enquired for the same, the concerned person told me that, my husband's name is not being verified n because of which my sim which is reissued to me, is not getting registered..

                Sir, on 27th May 2016, I had a discussion with airtel customer care executives, recording of that must be with airtel.
                On that day I was told about airtel infinity plan, and that wynk music subscription would be free with this plan.

                When one month got over, wynk is charging me money to download music, which would not happen if the subscription was free.

                But on 15th June 2016, I again had a discussion with customer care executive of airtel, and was informed that this plan was valid till 31st March 2016.

                I was cheated i am busy, call you later airtel by providing incorrect information just to sell a plan like this.

                  We visited the shop and we got to know that u r representative amit lost our submitted docs and asked for new docs. We submitted and got it activated but may I know why did he do it with my documents.
                  tell me what resolution details u have shared..??? no calls received.. and no solution and can't u think this is the question on yr efficiency that u could not able to detect the fault in one month approx.

                    Hello sir,

                    I subscribed to a corporate postpaid airtel connection in sep-oct 2015. I was told in the beginning that the credit limit is 800 rupees and to have it extended beyond 800 rupees, i will have to deposit some amount. My monthly usage is approximately 400-700 rupees and so far i have made all payments on/ before due date.

                    However this month my usage as per the bill is close to 1900 rupees. Since this was beyond the usual trend i investigated and upon looking into bill and plan i found out that airtel has been modifying my credit limit once almost every 2 months. I have never been asked for the same and my consent has not been taken at all.

                    As per airtel's records which i checked at their kiosk in sector 10 a, gurgaon my credit limit was increased as per below,

                    31st aug[protected] rupees
                    12th oct[protected] rupees
                    26th nov[protected] rupees
                    16th jan[protected] rupees

                    As per the store manager at the above airtel store the company doesnt ask user to increase the credit limit. They do it as per their own operational policies based on below 2 factors.

                    1. If the customer utilizes his initial credit limit and continues to do so for 2-3 months, airtel increases the credit limit.
                    2. If the customer pays bill on time consecutively then the credit limit is increased.

                    In the above case i have never reached the usage more than rupees 600-700 its evident that #1 is not applicable.

                    If #2 is true, it means airtel doesnt expect customer s to pay bill on time and usual operation sees a lot of customer who dont pay pay bill on time. Obviously they don't enhance the credit limit for everyone.

                    I find both the explanations highly ridiculous and illogical. Credit limit acts like a shield that prevents one from using service at a point and being informed about the service expiry at certain limit. Company increasing the credit limit on its own to exploit the customer doesnt look like a healthy customer friendly service.

                    I need your opinion to ascertain if i can use the above fact to file a formal consumer case against airtel. I am sure this is not one of its kind scenario, and it happens very often.

                    I have decided not to pay the bill further since it might trigger further increase of my credit limit as explained airtel customer service behind the reason of credit limit enhancement.

                    Though i shared my contact details on 16th, i am yet to receive a call from Airtel.
                    I have n't received any calls from airtel yet . It seems customer support at airtel is too busy to resolve customer queries. I will try to find appropriate channels to lodge a customer case against airtel and will also stop using the service

                        First of all i would like to acknowledge that airtel dth is one of the most expensive dth services in the country however that is not a concern for me. I have using their services from the past 3-4 years and honestly speaking i was never satisfied by their services even though i didnt want to change as i dont want to go through the hassle. Every now and then there was some unncessary charges has been implemented in my account. The biggest cheat just came a week ago, someone from airtel called me and told me about their new channel. He was such a crap kinda caller that i was not able to understand even a single word of what he was saying. Upon asking several times i got to know he was offering me a free service on channel number 361, i was half asleep and didnt want to speak however i tried my best. He told me its a free service by airtel dth. I still didnt like the offer and i told him not to activate that channel. He did it going against my request. Now i got a message on my mobile that rs 300 has been deducted from my account for the same channel. I tried calling them, with all due respect to them, i never heard a person speaking as senseless as airtel customer care executives. They dont even care about you, i was complaining about something and that guy was murmuring some 1980s hindi song. He was irritating me and unsurprisingly couldn't solve my issue. His senior called me after i called again and registered a complain, but the worst part is that even he disconnected the call in between. Now i am trying to reach them but my number is in their block list i guess. I wasted almost rs 50 by calling them (I dont have the care to use airtel sim after going through this torture).

                        I have a euro cup game today, i took leave today just to watch the match, i tried to recharge, airtel dth server is down. My tv is off due to low balance. And thanx to airtel and their useless customer care executives it will be wasted. Is there anyone who can help me do something against this giagantic of a company.

                            Hi,

                            I am using 2 airtel mobile numbers primary number with my family plan 799, add on with my family plan 99.
                            I wanted to convert both the numbers to corporate cug plan. I checked at an airtel outlet in electronic city about the process to do the same, they informed that first both the numbers need to be separated from my family plan, and then need to send an email to [protected]@in.Airtel.com along with a scan copy of my employee id card, so that both the numbers will be converted to cug. So i raised a request to separate both the number on 31st may.

                            On june 1st, i got a confirmation call and message stating that, the add on number is removed from my family plan and 199 ka with 3 packs has been activated. After which i called up the customer care to check once again and also got to know that i need to send my pan card and employee id card details to [protected]@in.Airtel.com for converting my plan to corporate cug.

                            I sent out an email along with the requested details, i got an email reply from javid asking for details like
                            1, sample mobile number (Which is in corporate cug plan ) for easy activation .
                            2, the plan which needs to be activated along with the number of packs for local, std, etc.

                            I replied with the required details on the same day. Next morning i received another email from rajesh stating both the numbers are still not separated, so change to corporate cug is not possible.

                            With surprise i called up the customer care on 2nd of june to know what is happening with my request, and got the update that request is processed to have a "consolidated bill", i was in call with the customer care floor supervisors manjunath and kiran for almost 2 hrs with them to make the proper update on the request to convert my numbers to corporate cug.

                            On 3rd june, there was no update, so i called up the nodal officer to get further updates on the request. I was informed by a nodal officer that both the numbers are still consolidated so it will take time till evening to separate and also that my both the numbers cannot be converted to corporate cug plans and only cug benefits can be given like free calls with corporate cug and i cant change the plan as i was previously with my family plan. I decided to disconnect the service with airtel and sent out an email to nodal and appellate on the same.

                            On 4th june, i got a call from mahesh and he apologized for all the delay and also confirmed that corporate cug plan conversion was possible and he will take care of the same and he needed 16 hrs for processing the request, (I.E.) 8 hrs to separate the number and 8 hrs to convert to corporate cug. But nothing happened until 8th june and no update was given to me on what changes are done to my numbers .

                            After waiting for 4 days, i tried calling the appellate officer again on 8th june and requested for update, i was in conversation with padma priya ( interaction id [protected]) for almost 45 mins. She wanted me to wait for 72 hrs, because she did not want to give false promises about the duration it would take to have my request processed. She also mentioned that she would take the responsibility to get this resolved asap.

                            On 9th june, i got a message on my add on number stating "4g lte on 3g has been deactivated on your airtel mobile with effect from 09-jun-2016. Update:your request for mobile account transfer has been processed . Bill plan myplan family 99- ka has been activated with effect from and date_time ". That is the same plan the number was already active on. I called up with customer care to know the status and they updated me as " ignore the message and that was a false message". But i was not having the mobile data available in my add on number. I called up again to customer care and had an interaction with floor supervisor karthick, who updated me that the changes are done from the back end and they do not have any information.

                            I finally wanted to change the network and sent a port sms. On 12th june, i received a call from alen (Porting team) asking for the reason for changing the service provider, i had to explain all the details again, he checked the details in the background and informed me to wait for one more day so that he will get the issue resolved. And when i asked about why the deactivation on the mobile data was done on my add on number, he requested for 30 mins to make the plan change to plan 199, with 4 packs, 1 for local calls and 3 for 3g data. And that was done immediately.

                            I waited for one more day and as usual nothing happened. When i called up appellate office again on 14th june to know why the change has not been done, oviyan ( interaction id [protected]) asked for 48 more hrs to have the request processed. The conversation was in english, and when it went around 30 mins she exclaimed in tamil as i am causing her headache thinking i do not know tamil. Is this the way your service representative talks to a customer??? Later i even explained her in tamil about my condition to have an issue unresolved for 15 days.

                            I do not understand the reason why my request is not being processed on a timely manner as informed. Each and every i time call up or send out an email to appellate officer, they inform me that they will escalate the issue to the concerned team. But no action has been taken to resolve my request. If they had really escalated the issue to the respective team, then i dont think that the issue would remain open till now.

                            Each time i called up, they gave me a service request number, which when i called up the next time and provided the same was told as invalid or expired service number. I really don't understand what is the standard/quality of service you provide. I have all the calls recorded and emails saved. I have been using airtel from more than 10 yrs now, and there was never a time when there was a delay in bill payment from my end and finally this is the way you respect a customer.

                            I need the proper reply for the below:

                            1, what is the reason for not processing my request appropriately till now on time.
                            2, when ever i call up they just say sorry for the inconvenience and they will escalate to the respective team, but till now i do not have any update on the same.
                            3. I had sent all the details requested from my end three or four times whenever requested. But still each time i talk to any of your representative, why do they ask me to send it again and again, when they are already able to view all the information. Why is that?

                            And most importantly, why should i pay all the pro-rate bills caused due to the negligence and irresponsible behavior of your representatives. They kept changing my mobile plan without informing me, and also even when they changed the plan for separating my number from my family plan for cug conversion, it was not complete. So i will never pay the extra amount you infuse in my mobile account. It has been 15 days till now, with no proper update and correct action taken. I am totally frustrated and fed up with your service.


                            Please take appropriate action on the issue.

                              Airtel DTH is increasing monthly package charges without any reason. In this connection I sent a mail on 26.05.16 to customer care DTH to advise how many time the monthly package charges had been increased i.e. date of enhancing package charges amount increased in the last three years. The Airtel not replying me and and I have send nine reminders . The matter had also been referred to the DTH nodel officer with 6 reminders. The Airtel DTH is not providing the information in respect of increase in monthly package charges in the last three years. None providing the information is an act of exploitation of the consumer.

                                I got call from airtel executive calls him avinash (Contact no.[protected]) on 13/06/2016 and he said that he is caling from airtel office from udyog vihar. He had my information like address phone no mail id. He asked me to submit all documents and photograph with cash of rs 2000/- (Which he informed is refundable rs 500 in first bill and rs 500 in the second bill.

                                He also shared a number saying that please verify the unique code with the guy who will come for document and cash collection.

                                Then i handover required documents and 2000/- cash payment to airtel executive who visited my office by verifying airtel code which i got on my contact no. Yesterday afternoon a guy came took the money in cash when i asked for invoice he told that avinash will send it on your registered mail.

                                Now today when i am calling the number (Contact no.[protected]) or the no. Of the executive who collected the document[protected], i called lots of time but airtel executive didnot picked my call and still i am waiting for airtel invoice on my registered mai id. Avinash's phone is switched off. He said he is from airtel's sales team.

                                Also he was assuring that he will make sure that the connection will be installed by morning 14/06/2016.

                                Kindly do the needful on urgent basis & resolve this matter yesterday afternoon a guy came took the money in cash when i asked for invoice he told that avinash will send it on your mail.

                                What kind of scam is carried out by airtel by set loose such third party agents and sharing information of the customers to them. Airtel have to take the responsibility and identify the person who has collected the money and documents.

                                  We are using Airtel 1 MBPS leased line connection from September 2014 on wards. In this connection weekly 2 or 3 times copper cable is damaging, due to this we are facing business loss for our concern.

                                  We are paying monthly 6554 rupees for you but you can't able to resolve the problem permanently and check our account history how many complains we have raised till now.

                                  If, any 1 of the month we may failed to made the payment you are collecting the Late payment charges or continuously calling for payment to collect the MONEY but in service you are giving this kind of support.

                                  Every time while i am raising the complain at that time we are explain the problem to your toll free support person about what and all problems we are facing due to disconnection of internet. At that time they were saying in future it won't happen but in future it is happening.

                                  Even in broad band we are not facing this kind of problems and monthly rental is also low only. For better service only we are going for higher rental plans but in higher rental plans it self they were providing this kind of service means don't know what to do.

                                        I registered for an internet connection with airtel on 6th and i got a call asking for the documents. I submitted and i was told that they will install the connection on the same day by 7pm. But it wasn't done.
                                        I posted a complaint on 8th to which i got a reply that the work will be done by the same day by 8pm which again didn't happen.
                                        I again emailed the customer care for the connection on 9th and they said that the work is under progress and the work will be done within 3 days from 8th. Again, didn't happen.
                                        I emailed them again on 13th (Which is after 4-5 days) and again i was assured (As always) that the work will be done by 7pm. And that again didn't happen.
                                        I don't know since when did airtel become so carefree in responding to its customers. I've been waiting for a connection for more than a week and there is no reply from their side.
