Hello All,
On 13th Jan i requested to change my address (relocation ) .After 15 days of investigation they told it is not possible to provide connection to that area.But they generated bill for that unused dates also .They expect me to pay the bill even i am not used .Still 9th march they are generating bill and asking me to pay for unused .

    Dear Sir,
    I stay in M E School road, Near Nala, Jugsalai, Jamshedpur, Jharkhand in india.
    I have taken Airtel 3G network plan but all the time 2G network is working.
    in this area that's why i am writing this complain.
    So resolved this issue as soon as possible other wise we switch to other network plan.

          Every month end my 4G data pack is not credited and I keep calling their customer service no. to get the credit of my pack. Their CS service team does not have proper visibility to the credited pack details and by looking at last months data, they keep sharing that you have exhausted your complete data pack in one day. My monthly consumption is less than or equal to 3 GB. How can in one day 3GB data is exhausted and that too without crediting the pack. Every month I have to complain and make 2-3 complaints to resolved the problem. They keep promising that next time onwards it will not happen but every month I face the same problem. I am suppose to get credit on 3rd every month and today is 13th March i.e. 10 days and I am yet to get my pack. Pls help to resolve the problem. My complaint has been shamlessly closed by them as the money has been paid in advance. Pls can anyone help to resolve this problem. Also, pls share the TRAI complaint contacts for further escalation.

          Hi Akanksha,

          Your Customer Service team has told me that they can only lodge the complaint. I will need to get in touch with Appellet team. Although it is there responsibility to get in touch with appellet team, I tried contacting appellet team, but as soon as I enter either of my 4G No. or registered no. it simply states "You have entered wrong no."and drops the call. I tried this 4 times.

          I had sent one mail also to airtel appellet and nodal team. They are not even acknowledging my mail.

            I have applied for airtel landline relocation of my no [protected]. They have committed to transfer the number within 1 week but now they are denying to relocate the connection. Airtel has stopped my old number, due to which I am unable to pay my due bill of 1000 rs & now they are day by day adding penalty charges just to make money.

              I had raised a Porting request from Vodafone to Airtel postpaid 1 week back. I recieved SMSs that all verifications etc are done and porting would be done on 12 March 2016 23:43 hrs. Ever since porting is done, I have 6 times called the airtel helpdesk and I was always told that it would max take 4 hrs. It has been 16 hrs now and still the status is same. Your senior executive (Shashi Kumar) was rude and asked me to wait for 24 hrs. Earlier one of your senior execs (Tausif) had assured me that by 4 PM, 13/03/2016, it would definitely be done.
              Please look into it with priority as I do not have any alternate number and I am missing on important calls.

                I have three airtel number which was connected as known as my plan and my i was using my primary no. This happend 2 months back where i had been exeding my plan a bit and they suggested me a plan and said your amount wont exed more than 2500rs no documents were submitted but my plan had been changed no issue came up then but the i got another call stating than we have unlimited net 3g 5gb then unlimited 2g for 1500rs then It was a genuine call and the plan seemed pretty reasonable but then i asked them how much will my bill generate overall cause i have 2 attached sim and there answer was no sir your bill wont exed more than the amount given . my sim card was ported the next week without my consideration where i had asked the i have to stay in maharashtra circle and i dont want to enter bombay circle still rather the info given i had my sim ported okay no issue but my card wasnt activated its about 1.5 months and still have'nt activated my sim my bill is now approx 8K and the next bill is gonna generate me in a middle class family cant pay so much and for something i havent done and was cause by a fraud of wrong information from the airtel company i ready to pay what was promised by me but i wont or cant pay 8k please help me stop this.

                  This is the first time that I need to contact airtel customer care and it was the worst experience for me.I think they have no value for customer's money. I complaint for not working of broadband connection on 11/03/2016 in morning but they filled the complaint at night and said that the technician will visit at our home in Ghaziabad next morning 10:00 am morning.But no executive came to house for problem visit. When we called again the customer care many times the same day we got so vague responses from executive over the call which made me lose my temper but nothing happened.

                    Recently I bought a 4G SIM postpaid from then on my life is miserable due to
                    the worst service provided by airtel. I got a 4g postpaid sim and it got
                    migrated successfully but there was no data services enabled for my mobile
                    number [protected]. Even after multiple complaints my data was not enabled as
                    the technical team was not able to resolve the issue.

                    I thought of resolving the issue myself and converted the sim to prepaid.
                    [protected] was converted to prepaid successfully on 29-FEB-2016. But here again
                    a problem is coming the new prepaid sim is going for address verification even
                    after providing it more than 5 times, escalating 1 time, writing to nodal officer and to appellate officer still no user.

                    I am tired of having to verify my address every time I call but still the
                    situation is same for past two weeks.

                    please try to fix the issue as soon as possible. If you cant handle the issues with 4g networks sim should not launched. Years of association with airtel this is the worst service I am experiencing.

                    We have raised complaints in every department but still airtel team is not capable of handling 4g issues. every time the same response ur issue will be resolved but its not.

                      No signal, no service
                      My airtel dth set up box (Costumer id : [protected]) is not receiving signal, after registering complaint, (Ref no. 50061193 dated 05.03.16) ) the so-called service engineer came three day later for maintenance after so much of hue and cry...
                      However he did not succeed in proper maintenance, and the problem continued. He conveyed that the set up box will be changed, however after that no body responded.

                      This is a matter of great concern that, every day charges are being deducted from my account, where as i am not getting the service.

                      The response of costumer care is also not satisfactory in this regard..

                          The charges earlier for SMS was Rs 0.45.
                          Now AIRTEL debits Re 1, sends a message of balance after deducting . But additionally they deduct Re 1 more silently, fow which ne message comes.
                          In the last 5 days I lost Rs 12 this way.

                            I use a airtel 4g sim which i have been since past 5 years.recently when i was checking my data balance i found out that my main account balance have been deducted for an amount of Rs.70 in a matter of 2 hours.when i checked my data balance was 315mb at that point of time.so i checked my last 5 data as well as voice transactions.i did not find any mention of such deduction of money in the past 3 days.so i called airtel customer care now what i got to hear blew my mind.they told me that i have been using multiple applications over my 'smartphone' which has caused the charge to happen from my main balance inspite of my data balance.when i asked them what do u mean by multiple applications they tell me i cant use more than 1 application at a time if i dont want this to happen again(like if i am using facebook i cant use whatsapp or anyother app simultaneously).i asked them is this your new scheme or something about the multiple apps that i wasnt informed about or hear about anywhere? They told me yes sir it has started few days ago and it is the new scheme. When i asked the definitive date and time of this new scheme they cut my call, so i called again and this time branch manager took my call(as she introduced herself).she tells me the exact same thing about multiple apps so i asked her mam i have been using multiple apps since more than a year and i guess whole of India is doing that as we use the so called smartphones! So after arguing with them for about an hour she told me we are very sorry sir and i wil refund your money immediately.i got the 70rs. back(ignoring the 20rs i lost calling them which they charge 50paise per minute).
                            Now what i felt was i might not be the only one to have faced this.they might have fooled others giving this utter stupid 'multiple apps usage' as the reason.people are not so knowledged about such things and moreover they dont wanna get into this for a mere amount of "70Rs. Or whatever". But i found this ridiculous and annoying from the giant which is AIRTEL( Now International).
                            So i decided to raise a voice to avoid such incident from happening with others.

                              I had completed the documentation on 26 Feb, requested a new broadband and fixed line connection. Since then there is some issue at company end which they call as "WRONG DATA ENTRY", which they unable to resolve till now. No proper communication has happened from there end yet. All I hear from them is "PLEASE WAIT FOR 24/48/72 hours", nothing else. They close the complaints without any solution provided to customer. There team updates on ticket they tried to call the customer, but customer didn't get even a miss call. No clear answer I get from them yet, I dont understand why they make customer suffer. A hefty fine should be imposed on such a worthless team which are dissolving the brand value. People named Satish, Vanitha, Madhusudhan, Ruby, all from Escalation Team or nodal team are unable to solve the problem since 3rd March, such a PITY. Everyone is telling a different different reasons for delay in installation, no one is in sync at all. Its been 13-14 days, I have been suffering and I dont know when this will end.

                                This is to request the Airtel representative to look into the matter. I have been using the Airtel number [protected] under the Shree Community 75 CUG plan since October 2015.

                                Each time, the bill was coming as per the plan (amounting between Rs.80-300) i.e. no mobile outgoing/incoming charges except roaming and chargeable internet usage. This was the same as promised to me at the time of buying the sim. The bill would come fine regularly and it would be paid. However, since this billing cycle, the bill shot up to Rs.803. It left me in distress and frustrated. I felt like myself getting caught in those often-heard horror stories of mismanaged and highly inflated bills by private telecom companies. On researching I found that despite the plan stating otherwise, all of my mobile calls were billed in this month cycle despite it being a free call plan.
                                Morever, the billing also included all mobile calls from 14th January 2016 onwards. I mean, how can I be billed for calls which were in previous billing cycles, even though the plan was active.

                                On calling the Customer care, I was considered to be a fool and various flimsy reasons were provided sequentially, for.eg., that the bill was according to my plan/or I should contact the simcard dealer for details(i mean, how would HE change the billing procedure)/ the long standing technical issue has been sorted out(what technical issue - something that i was not told of at the time of activating the plan - if so, why)/i was told of a SMS intimating changes in call charges(WHICH I HAVE NOT RECEIVED AS A FACT, and also that the customer care guy could not confidently tell me the date or that i surely received it) /OR CC guy saying that even if I have not received any intimation whatsoever, it is applicable. THIS IS WRONG ON SO MANY LEVELS. Even if this change in call charges was the case, it does not reflect in the plan details in the bill. WHY bill me for previous calls??

                                If Airtel wants to change the call charges, they could have sent an email or an SMS and then, it would have been fine. Also the billing should be from the date of intimation, not 1-2 month old calls which were not billed in their respective bills.

                                This is a dishonest attempt at selling a cheaper plan and then changing call rates and duping unsuspecting patrons and needs to stop.

                                A request to the airtel representative to look into the matter and contact me at the phone number [protected] or [protected]. I will wait for this matter to be resolved before I pay this bill.
