Yesterday i got a fake call from pakistani number ([protected],[protected] names Ravi, Vijay and amount trnsfrd to Rohit Singh) they told me some PUk no. to check wether it is the same number, if the number matches then i have won the lottery of 50 Lacs + a grand i10, i followed the instructions and i saw the same puk no. mentioned on the sim then they convince me to trnsfr 25000 but i refused, but again they told me to trnsfr 5000 when i trnsfrd they again told that payment has been stoped for clearing cz u haven't submitted the whole amount and told to trnsfr another 20000 i refused and then phone disconnected, no calls again.In the evening i tried that no. and in true caller first it showed that the no. is Pakistani but after sometime again i tried the name dispalyed on true caller was Robena and destination is from Kolkatta and they ansewred my call and abused in different languages. Please do aware from these types of frauds and it's a humble request to our consumer forum to look into these daily increased frauds ASAP

To protect all our mobile subscribers from malicious activities which may result in substantial increase in their phone bill, airtel would like to advise the following:
» Do not respond to any unexpected calls from a number with the +92 or +375 country code.
» Do not respond to any suspicious missed calls from unknown numbers.
Do not get lured into any financial transactions or divulge any personal information like IMEI, Bank Account number and other information to callers offering prize money or lottery winnings. Also do not respond to any instructions to dial an international number to get the prize money.
» This luring may also be done through SMS messages offering prize money and seeking personal details on a specified email ID. Please do not respond to these.
» Do not respond to any SMS/Email from unknown sources prompting you to call on a number or go to a site offering free download of content/movie clips/pictures.

    I am Ramesh Challa filing complaint on AIRTEL due to fails in services. Last month January I port my number from idea to airtel postpaid and port was successfully activated on Jan 14. I have provided all related documents (ID Proof & address Proof) and verification got successfully. From the next day onwards I.e, 15 Jan 2016 I am not able to receive incoming calls and messages. I called costumer care several times regarding this issue and visited to airtel store as well executives told to replace the same and problem will solve but it fails.

    From past 15 days I am keep on trying costumer care and visiting store but executives are not responding properly.

    I request consumer court to consider my issue and solve ASAP.

      We took a new Airtel postpaid .All the verification is completed. Even then i am getting message saying that we are unable to verify the address after 2 days. and we went to AIRTEL store they are saying it as "NOT OK HIGH RISK PROFILE " .
      We are sensing that after couple of days they may bar the service.

      Irrespective of visiting the store multiple times we are continuously receiving messages stating that your services will be bared as ur address verification is negative .
      We know that AIRTEL will provide good service but the third party verification team are not behaving proficiently and giving wrong feed back which is making us loss lot of money as we are giving this number for many purposes in our daily life

      PLEASE TAKE IMMEDIATE AND STRONG ACTION AGAINST THIS OR ELSE AITEL REPUTATION WILL GO DOWN DRASTICALLY

            Dear Sir,

            I had logged my complain in Airtel with complain id 67215632 about my internet usage. On 12th Jan I had received massage from Airtel that I had consumed my all internet data. The same moment I checked my data use in 121 and it was showing that I have used only half of the my data limit.
            I have complained to airtel this regard and they confirmed me on mail that I have consumed my all data. I told many times to Airtel Representative that I have not consumed my internet limit but they refused to entertain. Even I asked the details where I have used my data but they didnt provide.
            After my bill period when I received my bill it was showing that there were almost 1 GB data remained. Due to Airtel service I had to face problem. Please look

              He said im taken the "gamesbonds"subscription its not true

              Not seen and not requested to activate the executive told answer was not correct
              I asked to refund my rs.35/- main balance amount.
              1st feb'16 at 16.:43 the deduction was made and i got the sms also, with how to do the deactivation .Immediately i sent the sms for deactivation, after 30 mintues it will be solved i got the again sms. But not given my money i.E.Rs35/- credit to my account. To day the same as asked the executive he also given the same reply.
              Please take the action and give the refund my rs:35/- credit.

Now I am getting message as pack will expire in 1 day. Why this type of cheating? whether this is happening to our customer also?...

                  I would like to lodge a complaint regarding my aforementioned airtel hd setup box service. It has not been working properly since few months. Please note the following:
                  1. There is a massive disturbance in all channels. Pictures get distorted or it get freezed for few seconds or a minute. The reception of network is not good. Sometimes it got blank.
                  2. Please be informed that this not an issue of bad weather. This problem has been occurring since few months even in best of the best weather..
                  3. Not only me but all my neighbors of same building are facing the same problem. (For eg. Mrs. Bandyopadhyay id [protected], etc) there is a common antenna for all.
                  4. We have complained several times to local airtel partner i.E. Mr. Debargar of "m/s anfield dth" but of no use. First we were informed that technicians are busy and cannot attend call for few weeks. Then we were informed that your mother company is not listening to local airtel partners. Your technician visited us couple of times but he could not solve the problem. He even changed (Upgraded) the setup box of my neighbor (Mrs. Bandyopadhyay id [protected]).
                  5. We are tired of complaining. It very harassing and unprofessional.

                  We want immediate action against such unprofessional company who does not believe in after sales service.

                      I registered an issue with Airtel on 22nd January regarding the network issue in our area. As per them it should have been in 4 days and its been more than 10days, the issue still stands their, and the worst part is, there has been no follow up on this. I have no idea if case is still open, anyone working on it or not. This is absolutely bizarre service from Airtel.

                          jan[protected], jan 29 2016 - [protected], jan[protected], jan[protected], jan 30 2016 - [protected], bill cycle = 23rd, despite of this i never got my data renewed. after wasting 24 hours on phone with their executive, finally they told me i consumed all data. so disgusting.

                          after trying to convince over 20 executives over 10 days span. All said, you consumed 30gb of allotted data, which i knew, i never used as it was never turned on. i filed for disconnection of my number, as well as disconnection of my all services related to airtel. then on 11th day a 4g tech guy called me up and said, it was an error from there end, i did not used my data. thanks to that guy, who found out error. after good ending, another fight started, about not disconnecting the number, airtel executives called me several times for verifying my disconnection. i had to create new complaint about not disconnecting my connection. uhhhhhh... i pray to god, not to put me up in any kind of situation with airtel executives. airtel is a good company, and i have been customer of airtel for last 8-9 years now. i know i am loyal to airtel and hence i have been with airtel for so long time despite of several try by other service provider to convert me into their client. i guess airtel has paid some respect for my brand loyality.

                          i have spoken to the 121 and 198.

                          they are saying i consumed 30gb data, which means. from 23rd jan i have been making bogus complaint.

                              I applied for 4g WiFihotspot online last week & got the device on 25th Jan 2016
                              I have 2 Complaints on airtel
                              1. They are giving fake bills. After fighting for bill finally given but I surprised to see the which is done by delivery boy no stamp.
                              2.Till now my postpaid sim is not activated. I am calling to the person who sold the device but they are not even picking the phone
                              Its really disgusting I never expected company like airtel treats people like this.
                              I wanted to cancel this data card and postpaid by airtel cc team saying ur number is not yet reflecting in their records.

                              If you people can help me plz do.

                              I suggested to people to be careful before being airtel.

                              तक़रीबन साल भर पहले एयरटेल के ब्रॉडबैण्ड के 2 कनेक्शन मेरे द्वारा लिए गए। जिसमे बोला गया आपको बेहतरीन क्वालिटी की सेवा दी जाएगी ।लगातार कई महीने की लगातार कम्प्लेंट करने और टालते रहने के बाद अभी एयरटेल कस्टमर केयर एक्जीक्यूटिव का कहना है के जो स्पीड आपको दी जा रही है उसके हिसाब से मॉडम बदलना पड़ेगा जिसके 500/- आपको चार्ज लगेगा। इस सवाल जे जवाब पर के इतने महीनों से आपने मुझे स्पीड के हिसाब से सही मॉडम क्यों नही लगाया? उनका राहुल नाम का एक्जीक्यूटिव अपना माइक्रोफोन किनारे रख के जबरन साइलेंट हो के बैठा रहा।बैकग्राउंड से अन्य लोगों की लगातार बातों की आवाज़ आती रही। कई बार बात करने की कोशिश के बाद उसने दोबारा बात शुरू की और एडमिट किया के आपके दोनों ब्रॉडबैण्ड कनेक्शन को लगवाते समय हमारे पास उस कैपेसिटी के मॉडम नही थे।अब आपको 500/- देना ही पड़ेगा।
                              आज से कुछ साल पहले भी ऐसी ही चीटिंग एयरटेल के द्वारा की गई थी।और फिर कनेक्शन हटने के सालों तक कॉल आती रही प्लीज़ कनेक्शन फिर से लगवा लीजिये। मेरी जिओ सिम से भी कम स्पीड में एयरटेल wifi लगा हुआ है। इस चीटिंग के लिए मुझे क्यों ना कन्ज़्यूमर फोरम चले जाना चाहिए। ना कभी सही बिलिंग, ना सही सर्विस।
                              A big cheater company ... No ethics, no customer friendly.

                                I submitted the form for postpaid to prepaid connection on[protected] by evening 3pm mean while i submitted requirement of documents i got the information like it will change after 5 days
                                i communicated cc team on 27-1-16 raised the complaints about this till yet i will not get any solution
                                four times i spoke to customer care people solve this
                                i have got the no [protected]i submitted the porting also they will not clear the thing
                                out standing cleared on 29/1/16 because i dont know that out standing has to be cleared

Banglore to me and you are interested to relocate the job, I answered yes she said to me you deposit Rs.3150/- in Raghuveer Singh's SBI A/c no. [protected] for registration fee and I paid the above amount from my SBI A/c no.[protected] which is unique reference no. [protected], Journal no. 40875175 date 02.11.2015 time 12:10:49. I have received another call from same mobile no. please paid Rs.10500/- in Raghuveer Singh's SBI A/c no. [protected] for file charging fee and I paid the above amount from my SBI A/c no.[protected] which is unique reference no. [protected], Journal no. 12486010 date 03.11.2015 time 10:10:09. Mr. Raghuveer Singh (Mobile No.[protected]) call to me said that those amount also refundable on the time joining after these process, you deposit Rs.15600/- in my SBI A/c no.[protected] and I paid the above amount from my SBI A/c no.[protected] which is unique reference no. [protected], Journal no. 12422811 date 04.11.2015 time 11:10:35. After some time received a call from mobile no.[protected], she told me please paid Rs.5500/- in Raghuveer Singh's SBI A/c no. When I tell courier van driver Mr. Girdhari Lal mobile no.[protected] sender’s address write on courier’s document then he said to me courier sender’s address is Pradhanmantri jevan jyoti bema yojna co.                                       I filled up the form for new postpaid connection on airtel's website on Jan 20, 2016. All the formalities (photo id proof, reference of local resident etc) all were completed the next day. Then I got the number booked the next day, However, the verification guy denied duty since the address details provided to him were wrong.
                                      I tried to contact the verification department, but there are unavailable. I called the first on Saturday last week, and they are unavailable since then. Other executives have only been playing the blame game (Telling me that this issue is not under my department).
                                      I visited the airtel outlet in Vyapar Kendra, Sushant lok, where the guy told me that my address details are wrong so my number won't be activated.
                                      Then I called the complaint department and told the executive about the same, and he assured me that he will contact me within 20 mins with all the details. which he never did.
                                      I called them again, and another executive assured me that my connection would start working by 29th. And as expected it didn't.
                                      Called airtel again. Now I was asked to submit the documents again and send it to [protected]@airtelworld.in, which failed permanently.

                                      Also I was told that security charges are INR 250 and is refundable but now they are telling me that activation charges and are not refundable. Like employees have no idea what for is the customer is being charged.
                                      I also sent a Mail to airtel to which they did not reply.
                                      Airtel customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
                                      Spoke to Mr. Prakhar (Airtel Executive) this morning, he assured me that "concerned" department will revert back in 1 hour. Nobody called back
                                      Spoke to Mr. Amit (Team Manager) 2 hours later, he did the same thing (Forwarded the complaint to the "concerned" department). On asking him which is the "concerned " department and when would they call back. He went blank and kept repeating this- "I can only forward your complaint, rest is upto the concerned department."
