    Hi,

    This is reference to my internet usage issue I’ve encountered with Airtel post-paid 4G connection.

    I’m not at all satisfied with the services I’m receiving from yourself. I think Airtel is trying to fool people here to get some more into their pockets. By 23rd January 2016, 22:57 hrs when I checked my data consumption for current month – I had used 615.48mb of 1024.0mb data allowance. Almost 1 day after Monday morning I was notified I’ve consumed 100% of my data allowance for the month and when I checked the usage – it said I’ve used 1021.57MB of 1024.0MB. So basically this means I’ve used almost 400MB of data allowance in just ONE day where in the past 16 days I’ve used close to 600MB of data.

    Using 400MB in just ONE day sounds impossible to what my usage is. It was a Sunday and I had spent almost all day staying at home where I’m connected to my house Wifi 24/7. There’s definitely something dodgy on the Airtel side in terms of calculating the internet usage. I need detailed explanation how this was calculated – How Airtel has calculated my 400MB usage for in just one day.

    I called customer services to enquire about this and got no help as they can’t suggest anything before the bill is generated – This is utter non-sense. The advisor asked me to buy smart-bite to add more internet allowance until I get my bill generated. Now I’ve left with two choices – either be without the internet until the next billing cycle(12days) or pay for the extra allowance as Airtel cannot provide me a justification to where 400MB of internet allowance was consumed in a day.

    Now I’m forced to buy the internet allowance and Airtel cannot provide me any justification. Is Airtel trying to false charge people and put them in situation where they’re forced to spend more money for continued service as Airtel is helpless because they can’t check their records for another 12days.

    Whenever there's an issue, the only response we get from customer service is "please write us an email to [protected]@in.airtel.com". Why there's even a customer service if they can't answer any questions and will direct me to send you an email.

    I would need an explanation on this or I will have to choose to move my mobile and Landline/broadband connection to some other provider.

          Sorry. So many times I 've been logged my complain through mail and SMS to ur service provider authority (AIRTEL) since Jan, 2015.
          How many days ll u take to solve this network problem issue at my residence .u people can't imagine how myself and family members passing with ur existing system.
          It is very unfortunate from a such a world class organization.
          Your technical experts visited my residence so may times with their instrument. They also felt problem and realized that what difficult to talk from my residence.

              I highly regret that i have opted for your service. I never get any text regarding the expiry of my data plan, never. It has happened a number of times and every time money is deducted from my main balance, sometimes its 180/- 150/- 100/- and many more. If you can call and send us useless texts a number of times everyday then why not any warning text. This is how you people make money. Totally fed up. Vodafone and other services are much better and in every respect.

                      Getting subscribed for Lifestyle Rs 35, I unsubscribed it. Later subscribed for Modelmaniaw Rs 35, I unsubscribed it. Again Lifestyle Rs35. Wrote a complaint to customer again got subscribed Rs 35 got deducted.
                      Airtel is harrasing. Take some action to stop such nuisance.

                      I do not subscribe modelmaniaw pack. But deducting 35 rupess when i recharge my account..i complinted to the customer care but airtel said that they have no responsibility and they cant refund the amount..feeling very bad about airtel..

Last month bill is 399 + GST 60 = 460. But This month 26-Jun-2017 to 25-Jul-2017 my bill amount is 1060. what is this why i pay 1060. My plan is only 399. Now i don't pay 1060. Pls remove my POstpaid connection for this number [protected].

                            Dear Sir/ Madam,

                            May name is Zaheer Abbas residence at UP west in India, working in Saudi Arabia.
                            I am facing problem o[censored]nable to make outgoing call from my mobile number ([protected]) even have enough balance and tied up network selection (Mobily -KSA).

                            And continue complaining to Airtel customer service and they are registering complaint & sending SMS that problem has been solved but nothing change.

                            My grace period is left only 3 days (from 24.01.2016 to 27.01.2016)

                            Need your urgent support to stop being cancelled / closed my mobile number .

                            Kindly do the needful urgent to save my number

                              As per telephonic discussion with Mr Nishant Bagdai his mobile numer is [protected], I think he is airtel company officer.


                              I am writing this mail regarding over bill and MNP delay issue.


                              I was decided to transfer our all family member’s mobile number in airtel kadva patidar cug of Rs 99 rent plan.


                              Mr. Keval brief me the plan details as below :
                              Rent Rs. 99 per month
                              Benefits :
                              300 local other network mnts

                              1000 A to A local mnts

                              100 SMS

                              500 MB 2G net

                              Rs. 250 activation fees waiver in 4th bill


                              Now, problem is that bill generate as per Rs 151 rent plan and all benefits are different then above plan…..on 18th jan when my bill generate that time I was socking by bill amount…its is 350+ and 650+ in my two number. we are all mentally prepare as bill received as per rent rs 99+ tax but actual scenario is different.


                              Today, I was visit airtel store for discount in all my cug number if all bills are generate as my bill.


                              Suppose, 19th dec 2015 to 18 jan 2016 bill generate as per 99 rent then bill amt near by Rs. 115 i[censored]sage as per Rs 99 plan. 300 mnt + 100 sms + 500 mb net. but bill is rs 625 on mobile number [protected]. same case in my other mobile number it is [protected].


                              I request to you pls deposit amount in my account. it is Rs 510.

                              other problem is that, CUG process start from 29th Nov 2015 and from that time I was contact with Mr keval. seriously he is very lazy man and lethargic in work. whenever I was visit his store not single work is done and on call he always speak I will do in some time but so many days left but work is there. no any progress in work. I think he no need business or has not customer value. I give him zero rank for customer service.


                              Pls look into this matter and solve as soon as possible.

                                I applied for national portability from Uttar Pradesh to Karnataka.I got a call from airtel representative saying that my new sim would be activated with in 4 hours, even after 4 hours when it dint get started i enquired again they informed that it would be started next day morning 7 am, again it dint get start so i called again at 12 pm, this time they again informed it would start at 5 pm, but similarly it dint start now again i enquired at 6 and they gave me time for 8 pm ..then finally i again i called for the same and they informed it will take additionally 8 hours due to another technical issue. Even after 8 hours my sim is still not activated and every time they gave me assurance that my case is being escalated to supervisor but it had no effect at all. i am not able to make or take any calls since last two days and still stuck without activation.

                                    What I feel about them is, No.1 in South India. Everything is computerized. System is capable to identify the Data usage, Line up or down, call log, etc. They can identify the excess usage and include the amount automatically in the bills (Computerized). I'm proud to say i'm Airtel customer for more than 12 years and using their service (till now) in Office, Home and Mobiles. Every one in India aware of Chennai Flood. I believe the people in Airtel Billing Department & Customer Care knows about it. Without any courtesy & smart they(system) sent a full Bill Amount to all customer. Even though they know that they took more than 15 days to rectify the issue in most affected areas. While i approach the customer care, i got surprised about their Business Plan. They will give waiver only to the customer who approached them and raise a complaint. Those who are not raise complaint are treated as volentery fund raisers to their company. I couldn't take this matter as normal. I'm asking on behalf of all the affected customer. where is the consumer Protection Department? what was the role? how this kind of companies are surviving without any fear about the consumers?

                                      I am getting pre call announcements for every call that I make. Airtel is not providing calling service for free so how can they put ads and irritate customers. I have made complaint about this multiple times (around 20). It gets deactivated only for a day. Please let me know if you can resolve or I will be happy to port to some other good network.

                                      Just stop this PCA . dont you guys realise how unethical it is.. its really dirty marketing tactic. what if someone's calling in an emergency? wait for 20 secs to listen to your BS. and actual call lasts for 9 secs. common, dont loose brand image. it's the only reason people are still using airtel.
