Dear Concern

I got a call form airtel by requesting the port the no to airtel, also describe the plan.i selected a plan of 399 monthly rental.(600 local/std min, 1 gb 3G data after that 2G unlimited, 300 msg).but your guys informed me to delay of process
because bill of last month about to generate.after 15 days i got the msg for
porting. I changed the sim .when i called a no automatically it goes to
verification department. i told them the correct information.as i submitted the document.but he told me that its not correct information because airtel is running franchise.they are providing the wrong information. this thing i went to know when i went to airtel store situated at sector 31 market gurgaon (122001) .as per the store manger told me:-"we have not called you for port the no.Our franchise are did so.he also told me that we can not provide the same plan as they guys told you.its the legacy plan" .due to this my no is not working from last friday(15/01/2016).and this no. is registers every where even in banks transaction also .so that i can not close this sim at any cost.even i yours guys told me i can not go back to vodafone back.from last Friday I am visiting your airtel company outlet sector 31 market gurgaon(122001) continuously .but i did not get any solution.

    My prepaid connection was disconnected with wrong reason and causing me inconvenience. When I received the msg saying that they are going to disconnect my number because non usage in last 90 days, I sent email with details. I received reply immediately saying that they verifyed the usage and ignore the msg and balance Rs.1 only and recharge. When we try to recharge they said it is disconnected. I sent email again and received reply saying that it is disconnected and the can't do any thing. Now I am in USA and helpless to do anything. Why should I suffer for their mistake? This number connects me to all my bank accounts and to all my family and friends in India.My email [protected]@yahoo.comDear Customer,

    We would also like to inform you that, we have verified and found usage in last 90 days. Hence, we request you to ignore the message you have received.

    We have verified and found current available balance in your main account is Rs. 1/-. For international roaming service to be active, we request you maintain a minimum balance of Rs. 99/- for each month in use.

    International Roaming Service is a default service active for all Prepaid subscribers. Monthly rental of Rs. 99/- for 30 days is applicable and would be deducted from your balance once you latch on to the international roaming network.

    Since your balance is low, I request you to recharge your number through airtel web to avail exclusive offers http://www.airtel.in/personal/mobile/prepaid/easy-recharge-enter-number

    While in roaming, you can latch on to the coverage either by selecting Automatic Roaming or Manual Roaming. In case, you are unable to latch on to the tie-up network automatically, please select the network manually.

    1. Select phone settings menu on the handset

    2. Select Network selection option

    3. Select Manual or Automatic option

    Your phone display will either show the operator's name or the operator's code number.

    In case of Manual Roaming, the network searches for the available operators in that area and then latches on to the strongest network available.

    You may select the network as per our tie up operator listed on our website.

    Please note:

    1. Manual Roaming should be used when you do not latch to the network automatically.

    2. You can only login with the service operators with whom airtel has tie-ups.

    3. Login to www.airtel.in to know more about the tie-up networks and international roaming packs

    4. *123# would not work while in international roaming.

    Visit www.airtel.in/myaccount to check your balance or recharge account.

    We would also like to inform you that, services to your SIM would be discontinued if there is no usage found on your airtel mobile number for 90 days. Usage could be with respect to an outgoing call/SMS/data usage. Beyond the 90 days period, in case of no usage seen, charges of Rs 20 per month would be deducted from your main account balance towards service extension. In case of insufficient balance, your number would permanently disconnected.

      I had to convert my airtel postpaid to prepaid. For that, I visited to Airtel Relationship center at Vimannagar Pune. One of the sitting representative told me that Conversion process is halted for next 10 days and will be continued after 10 days, because of some issue...
      I asked him about issue, he told me, some of customers did not convert to prepaid successfully. So Airtel is working on it...

      Then, I asked him again.. "Are you sure, It will take next 10 days ?", He replied, "He is not sure"... I was doubtful on his talk.. So After half an hour, I visited to Airtel relationship center at CAMP and he did my work...

      But, I wasted my 2 hrs behind this...because of Vimannagar office representative.. I request to Airtel to take serious action against them... Otherwise nobody will trust on you...


      I experienced same previously also for converting prepaid to postpaid at Ramtekadi office...

        Hi Team,

        I am using [protected] Contact number last time at approx 11 PM on 21-Jan-2016 i have recharged with 100 rupees and got 100 Rupees ftt and today morning i show that amount was deducted by Airtel.
        i had spoken with customer care representative but they are telling that the was amount was deducted for internet use but that time i had 24 Mb internet and i used in whole night only 20 mb and right now me also have 11.35 MB data because i got 10 MB data as night cash-back.
        it was a fraud i want the refund of my amount.
        please go through the mail and solve the concern ASAP.

              My name is Lovelesh Gautam mobile number [protected] as according to my bill plan i have 1024MB Data and my daily consumption is 35MB but in the middle of month Airtel shows i have consumed 100% data i have facing this from last 8 months and i will show all the screen shots to Airtel they will waveoff each month but problem not solved yet.

              Thanks a lot for response. I emailed several times to Appellate but they respond back to me like stupid reply's and each and every time new executive handle my concern then he/she ask my story from beginning. Last month i spoke with one of Appellate officer Neeraj Prakash and he told me next time just mentioned forward my concern to Neeraj then he will take care of it but you cant believe sanded more then 20 emails to Appellate just wright this please forward my case to Neeraj and i want to talk with him but still i m waiting for his call. Even this month my billing cycle is started on 26 Jan and today is 27 only in two days my data has been consumed more then 270MB and i am really supersized i didn't use my mobile data.

              I try to connect more then 200 emails to Appellate and sevral call to 198 121 and other also and i really frustrated with Airtel services and customer support each and every they assure me this is last time we will solve your problem but still its happened with me from last 8 month.

              I really loose my patience now. i dont want to say but i must say Airtel world third class telecom orator :(
              Waiting for response i already sent you email Anil and i really fed up this time if you are not able to solve this then let me know i will port my number. You all guys are cheaters.

                I visited India on 1 January 2016 and arrived at village called sabhra. I bought a prepaid card number on 3rd Jan to communicate but unfortunately the connect was only provided on 10 Jan because I understand that air tell agent who collects the document did not come to the village to collect till 9 Jan 2016.
                I thought the airtel service was the best with many towers all over the country to provide the best communication means in India but I was to have thought that. Now I can strongly say that the service by the air tell ground is Zero and below standard.
                If you need more information to investigate the matter you may call me on my hand phone +[protected]. I also intent to refer the matter to ministry of telecommunication to further investigate the matter to show that many Indian has to suffer at the hand of the service provided who are inefficient and taking matter into their own hand thinking that majority of the Indian nationals are uneducated and does not know where to lodge their complaints to get good service from the service providers.

                  I was charged rs75 for some house of models service. I asked the customer care about the service as it did not reflect in my last 5 value added services. They said it got activated while browsing the net. But i have a net pack of 700mb left. Thats the petplexing part. I feel very cheated by airtel to whom i have been loyal for over 6 years.

                      Hello,

                      This is regarding the worst service I am getting from one of the leading service provider airtel. Currently I am living in pimple saudagar area in pune and was looking for good internet connection so I contacted airtel executive on 29 dec 2015 for the demonstration of 4G connection. At the time of demo all seems good there was no network issue or instrument issue so I purchased the airtel 4G connection instantly but looks like this was the mistake i did. My Airtel 4g number is [protected].

                      Once the 4G connection activated I faced the connectivity issue continuously so I raised the complaint against this on same day i.e. on 01/01/2015 this is the same date I purchased it and got an assurance from customer care that issue will be resolved with in 48 hours. They also provided me complaint number 67078220 but seems that the company representative are not serious about customer problem. After 2 days I called once again and had the assurance from customer care executive that they need 3 more days to resolve this issue. They just gave me false assurance again and again but no one had the time to visit my place and resolve the issue.

                      I also dropped a mail to the complaint portal(appellate.[protected]@in.airtel.com) of airtel on 06/01/2015 that need to take look into this on priority. Complaint department told me that technician will visit the place with in 2 days to resolve the issue.
                      On 3rd day technician visited and committed that there is network issue and network team will be at your place to check the connectivity since that day there was no call, no mails from airtel team to resolve the issue, hence to know the status i called again and same story repeated that issue will resolve with in 48 hours.

                      Its near about 22 days I am facing this problem but no one cares about customer problem. Instead of this they sent me the bill for the internet usage.

                      I am literally fed up to follow up again and again and getting false commitment from company.

                      I spent 2500 Rs only to purchase a black box which have no use.

                      Can you please have a look and take appropriate action against it??

                      Complaint has not been resolved yet, I am still facing same issue and need to resolve as soon as possible.

                      Once again I got an assurance from company that the respective team will contact but there is no further updates.

                      Please take a look on priority.

                        At the outset, I introduce myself as Sambit Kumar Mangaraj, from Bhubaneswar Odisha, presently residing at Berhampur, Odisha. It is worthwhile to mention here that, I am using Airtel 4G sim .But it is really surprising to note that, today I noticed that a data of approx. 900mb was deducted automatically. The above charges without any valid reason, has not only created unnecessary dissatisfaction in me but also I am running in mental agony by keeping faith on such an esteemed Communication Organisation like yours. Sir, I apprehend, if such type of harassment and non co-operation in every respect is extended to the Sim holder, no body will rely on AIRTEL rather the Sim holder may throw their sim and will not prefer the opportunity for availing the call/data facilities from AIRTEL. Further, I would like to bring to your kind notice that when the other COMMUNICATION Companies stationed at Barahmpur are running door to door and convincing the public only to avail their Sim card facilities, at the same time I preferred Airtel because of its name and fame not only in India but also in Abroad. But I was fully wrong and ignorant about the harassment of AIRTEL to its customer .
                        If I will be charged unnecessarily like this repeatedly, I will be bound to loose faith in this Airtel 4G. I cannot afford such loss often.

                        Previously also I faced such type of problems and also wrote to U. And again today I faced the same problem.Why this thing is repeatedly happening again and again with me.
                        If the data mode is being kept switched ON then it gets automatically deducted. Previously balance from main account were also deducted unnecessarily.
                        Also the customer care executives are behaving much rudely which is really unexpected. Also its very much disheartening that we are getting such poor service from a reputed company like AIRTEL .

                        In view of the fore-goings, I would request your good-self to kindly look into the matter and pass your valued orders to the concerned authority for waival of the unnecessary penalty 900mb imposed on me for which I shall be highly obliged. If my poor case is not considered by your good authority, I will have no option left than to surrender the Sim card with your concerned AIRTEL branch.

                          i am facing the problem of not getting OTPs. I am frustated with them for one months trying to resolve my issue..from the day i did my number port from vodafone to airtel . They finally blame all online e-commerce sites for not sending msgs while the actual problem is with airtel as i am not receiving other messages like paytm irctc kvoos BookMyShow, My Office alerts too. Worst service by Airtel. Thinking to switch back to Vodafone for that i have to wait for 6 months .. big time fraud by the airtel you should inform this before that you may face such type of problems after porting the number from vodafone to airtel now i am puting this case in consumer coat so that others will not face this problem because i noe you cant solve my issue i have to wait 5 months more now...bad luck for me... ref number 67141709

                              I recharged the airtel mobile number [protected] online through DEBIT CARD banking first it show failure( bank txn no[protected] but the amount has been deducted from my Bank a/c. I again recharged same amount bank txn no[protected]but the amount has been deducted from my Bank a/c. Bank - Uco Bank, Date of transaction- 21st Jan, 2016. please refund the amount as soon as possible.

                              The airtel company executives had called me after the complaint, regarding the debit card details. They asked me regarding debit card, which refused to give and after few days amount has been refunded to my account by VMT

                                There is no signal in my office even though the nearest airtel tower is just two buildings away. the area is cubbenpet, sanjeevappa lane. faceing this problem since 2 months, i have also changed all modes from 2g to 3g and also 4g but there is no signal. please solve the issue, i'm facing too much of business problems because of signal issue. thank you.

                                    As per the request from Airtel I have activate the postpaid Sim yesterday.I have opted the [protected]@399 with 14 packs provided by Airtel in excel sheet.

                                    Now you executive is denying that it is not possible. Airtel is making me fool by getting me activated on airtel by falsified statement and forcing me to stay with the plan for 3 month as per the MNP norms.

                                    This is not acceptable at all, I want to port out immediately and want my money back.

                                    Request you to kindly look int the matter. I want to register the case against airtel for the cheating the customer.

                                    Airtel and their dealers both are doing wrong commitments since starting. My mental condition isn't good due to this and I am feeling harassed by Airtel.

                                    In the starting have requested the porting of Vodafone postaid no [protected] to Airtel Postpaid with Rs 399 plan with 1GB 4G data + 600 min local + Std calling & 300 SMS.

                                    At the time of activation they are denying that sms not possible and offered 500 local + 150 Min std + 1GB Data at Rs 399. Now while activating through 59059 I came to know that I am getting only 900 MB +200 local & 150 std only.

                                    I have stopped the activation and waited to get the written communication about the plan from the Airtel. After receiving the mail and the plan sheet from airtel I have activated the sim and mailed the plan from the provide sheet but after activating Airtel is denying the plan offered.

                                    I am no longer interested in Airtel and just want to port out on urgent basis. I can't wait form next 3 month to port my number from Airtel to other service provider. Airtel is wasting my time and money. I have suffered a lot in last 5 day as my sim isn't active.

                                    I hope you will understand and will help me resolving the issue. Kindly let me know what more I need to do, as I am very much serious to file a complaint against Airtel for the cheating the customer. I also request you to take a strict action against the service provider.
