    I got a new microSIM for my existing number [protected] yesterday ( 05th Jan 2016 ) at about 11 am from the Airtel Office in Chennai Beach Station. I was told it will be activated within 4 hours, but the activation took nearly 12 hours, i could now call and surf internet, but still the SMS facility is not working. Because of this i am unable to activate my ICICI and Axis bank mobile banking which sends OTP, and also my credit card which sends OTP for verification. Why i have not been informed about this before? Why the Sms activation takes time? The representatives have to inform every customer who purchase a new sim about the activation time and sms activation delay. No one cares about it. In chennai Beach station Airtel branch, the token number system is not proper and the numbers jumps from 45 to 50. when asked, the person infront of computer responds that your token number is not showing up. This is happening to many when i was waiting for my token number. Being a preferred network and good customer satisfaction, Please rectify all these issues and do needful.       Airtel call center is calling more than 4 times in a day to port my current number to Airtel. I have told them n number of times that I DONT WISH TO MOVE TO AIRTEL but still I am getting sales call EVERYDAY. This is an harassment that any company cannot call anyone if they have been informed multiple times that I DONT WISH TO USE AIRTEL. They are not even making a note of it and calling all odd times. There is no supervisor to resolve this issue and their IVR system is OUTDATED and USELESS.

        This mistake has costed me a lot (around 5000.00 on both numbers [protected] and [protected]) I am fail to understand when ever i try sorting out this issue in store and over the phone. they are not able to help me although they are good in apologizing a lot and ask me to log a complaint against guy in store Indirapuram, i bought the connection from . but this not i want .When i was clear enough to convey my message to your store representative that i need one more CUG number under my office id. so that i do not get charged to make calls between both numbers [protected] and [protected]. he agreed on that and provided me new CUG number [protected]. but this was not done and as a result i am being charged from day one between [protected] and [protected]. and so far i have paid 3600.00 for [protected] and 1300 for [protected]. Being a reputed telecome company no body bothered to me ring and inform me that this your both CUG numbers are not free to call each other. Gods know what did he do or forgot to do . before this i had great faith on Airtel because i have been using [protected] since last more 3 years . Never looked at my bill and paid on time being loyal to airtel this is really disheartening when one some get this . this kind of irresponsible behavior from airtel now airtel has broken my trust and forced me to change my mind. Now i am so much dissatisfied and angry .I have paid 5000.00 extra from my harden money to airtel . which I could have saved for kids future . I am sure there would be someone who really can understand my pain and frustration and anger and help me to get on this. Out of frustration and dissatisfaction i am not paying for any bill from both numbers ([protected] and [protected]) till then it is sorted and i get credit back .

            I have recharged with 2g plan o[censored]nlimited data of rs 198. but i am not getting unlimited data facility. airtel is simply deducting from my main balance. i have mailed a number of times since more than 21 hours but all they are doing is just refunding my balance. i rather need to provide me with unlimited data for what i recharged. i have complained more than 20 times. .

                Hello, I live in kaggadasapura Abbaiah reddy layout. I approached Mr. Lakshman ( contact no. [protected]) for the connection and submitted the documents to him. He submitted those to the Airtel and we got the message with fixed line no. [protected] with installation order no. 45605158. Its more than 2 months I did not get any update. What I got is only false commitment from Mr. Lakshman. After following up rigorously I got a call today saying that there is problem with ports and I cannot get broadband connection so money will b refunded. My question is why did he take so much time to update? Why he lied that ports have been assigned and cable work is done? Why he gave false hope? Being such an old customer of Airtel broadband ( kapil kakkar, fixed line no. [protected]) I am really very very disappointed. Please let me know what can be done to get the connection asap.                 Am also facing the same issue with airtel now. Knowing that its not possible to give a new connection, they took money from me also.Am also from Abbaiyah Reddy Layout. After lot of chasing, airtel informed me that cant provide new connection .

                I also faced the same issue and I also reside in abbaiah reddy layout. A person named Raju collected the documents and installation fees after checking that connection is possible 3 weeks back and yesterday I got a message from airtel saying Your new Airtel fixedline no: [protected] could not be activated and money will be refunded. Airtel people : 2 questions for you..
                1) When you already know new connections are not possible, why are you wasting customer's time, effort by collecting documents and money. You can just inform prior.
                2) When are the new ports going to be assigned and connections made available..

                It is really tragedy, That you people are unable to provide the service even though lot of customers are awaiting for connection but you people are not at all intrested. Because you get more business through Airtel 4G Hotspot rather than Broadband.

                If the above would have not been the case, Why these customers are waiting for months.How much time you need to take approval.I have spoken with Satish installation manager.He is saying no chowk is there and it is full...

                I really dont understand why you people forecast the connection...Whom you are cheating ..dont think customers are blind...If really your intention is to provide the service that would have been differant...But your intention is to entertain Airtel 4G HOTSPOT which gives more money to Airtel..

                    In December 2015, I applied for the "Mobile Number Portability" before Airtel - Jaipur (Vaishali Nagar Office) for porting of my [protected] - Airtel - Prepaid Number of Madhya Pradesh Circle to Rajasthan Circle as I wanted to retain the same mobile number even after my relocation. During the process of porting I was astonished to know that my mobile number was not registered in my name. However, at the time of purchase of SIM Card in 2012, I duly submitted all my documents to the Local Vendor named - Sai Communication ( Indra Market, Bhopal- M.P.). I am using the same mobile number from since 2012 and during these years I was under impression that my SIM Card is registered under my name. As I very well remember receiving the verification call after the purchase of SIM Card in 2012 and giving out my details. I am shocked as how can such mistake happen? That after duly submitting the documents and taking the verification call, after 3 years I am informed that my number is not registered in my name. This is a huge mistake done on part of Airtel & their Vendor. However, my application of Mobile Number Portability also got cancelled for reason unknown also my mobile number has been disconnected or something as there is no network on my phone. I informed about the same to Airtel Office - Vaishali, Jaipur but even they have no answer to sudden disconnection of my number. I am a Lawyer by profession and due to sudden disconnection or no network service on my mobile phone I am incurring professional loss also I am not able to do banking transactions as I the bank sends "One Time Password" to mobile number for doing transactions. I am totally handicapped due to non-working of my mobile number. I am afraid that my documents must have been misused by the Vendor. I intend to take strong actions against the Vendor and would like to file complaint with Airtel. Airtel is also responsible for first verifying the number in my name and then after 3 years informing that my number is registered in my name but a totally unknown person.

                      I wanted to change my idea prepaid to airtel postpaid. I went to the airtel office in Sundernagar himachal pradesh and filled the required form and submitted all the required documents on 22dec 2015.I received a message on 23 dec that your mobile no. [protected] to airtel has been completed and is being forwarded to idea office.but after that i dnt get any information from airtel.i call airtel excutive MR. kapil and he gave me information to wait for 7days .after 7 days i dnt get any confrmation.after that i again call to mr. kapil but he again gave me excuse to wait for 2 days. definetly sure 2-1-2016 your number will be activated. again i call 4-1-2016 mr kapil bt he was not receiving my call and dont gave any information.i am totally desatistified from airtel and and again i call to mr. kapil no. [protected] may be 100 of times on 4/[protected] bt i dnt get any response after an alternate no. i call again than a person. pick the call and i said what is your problem why are you call again and again and say. '' kisi dusri company mein port krle jake'' hum ni kar sakte.i just want to say airtel if your employee dnt have any talking sense than how they satisfy their custmer. very poor management quality and thank god the no. is not ported.it was the first step and i knw your service. not satified

                          I wanted to change from Airtel postpaid mobile to Airtel prepaid mobile. I went to the office in Shyambazaar and filled in the required form and submitted all the required documents.I received a message that some information was not upto date in the voters ID i submitted.So I went back and submitted a xerox of my driver's license .Then again I received a message that the the required information was not complete. I'm a 71 year old senior citizen and it is not possible for me to commute so many times for this triial transfer.all i want is to change from postpaid to prepaid .Why is airtel company harrassing me so much.When I changed from prepaid to postpaid it was done in a jiffy over the telephone.Now why is the reverse creating such a problem?

                            This is day 12 Still unable to browse from 25th Dec 2015 Nobody has come from Airtel to Rectify the problem My Broadband phone number is [protected] and my original registered Complaint... No 62973564 dated 25th Dec 2015. My mobile number is [protected] I am unable to go online from 25th Dec 2015. I have been getting all sorts of excuses from customer service but so far nobody has attended to the complaint.

                                Ref no : CU[protected] Dear Sir, This is Shivakumar(Mobile no :[protected]) user of Airtel Prepaid user since long time. Now i am facing problem that, unable to contact customer care representative through 121. The option 9 is not coming since 25 days. Many times i called the customer care to ask reduced tariff charges and validity of my previous tariff plan. It would have connected, i could ask plan end date and activated for low tariff plan. But, because of this not reachable technical problem i have spent Rs 400 on higher cal rate. I informed to customer care, nodal officer for this i have not got proper response, even though they agreed for the issue happened because of technical reason not because of my problem. They are dening to reverse the amount Rs 500( Rs 400 recharge + Rs 91 for recent tariff plan activation). Kindly do reverse my charges. I hope you will do the needful.                                       I had submitted my documents on 22.12.2015 with the unique porting ID AM254847 to port my Airtel number [protected] from Mumbai to Karnataka circle. My request was validated and I received a confirmation that my number would be ported on 31.12.2015.However, my previous sim was deactivated and the new one has since been dead. I have been in constant touch with Mr. Deepak ([protected]) who has just been stalling me with excuses. My number has been deactivated without prior notice due to which my business affiliates are facing inconvenience and it is affecting me financially apart from the mental harassment that I've been facing due to the numerous trips I've had to made to the shop and also calling Mr. Deepak multiple times. I'm also going to register the same with the consumer court. I hope the issue can be escalated to the concerned authorities and appropriate action be taken. Also refunds be made in lieu of the damages.
