From the month of August 2015 cycle, i.e. 26th July 2015 to 25th Aug 2015, I noticed that 4 to 5 International SMS being charged in my post-paid bill. This is again being reflected in the September 2015 cycle and November 2015 billing cycle.
Please be informed that (a) the cell number is exclusively used by me and the cell phone is always in my custody (b) I do not have any contact or relative staying abroad. Later on receiving itemised bill, I notice that the number is o[censored]K. The same number is repeated every cycle.
This leads me to believe that my cell number is being hacked /purposefully misused by dubious means, and my cell number is used to send International SMS.
With number of Terrorist activity growing worldwide, I am afraid that my cell number is being tried, and if corrective measures is not taken, this may lead to some irreparable damages.
As a responsible citizen I have informed airtel on 29th August 2015, 29th September 2015 and 28th November 2015. Till date the issue is not resolved. If tomorrow something wrong happens, AIRTEL Kolkata will be sole responsible. Details of the complaint with the respective Airtel personnel’s are appended below. Those details interaction will prove my inosine and entire responsibility will rest on AIRTEL Kolkata.
Since no action has been taken by AIRTEL Kolkata, so far to rectify and corrective action taken, other than waiving the charges, I will be compelled to (I) inform the local police officials and if required inform the Central Bureau of Investigation / CID (ii) inform consumer forum (iii) Inform Grievance redressal cell (iv) lodge a complaint with the consumer court.
